one pheno is way more sensitive to my nutrition and got nutrition burn, the other is thriving and buds are double the size. I would have gotten better results if i gave less probably, I'm a noob and just blindly followed the biobizz nutrion schedule, I should have given a third probably, anyway still got like 2/3 weeks to go.

It's hard to determine the exact problem from those pictures and the limited info in your diary but from the looks of it seems like your plant is suffering from either a Phosphorous (P) toxicity or Nitrogen (N) toxicity (it might be both!), and some water damage! First fill your pot with a bit more soil, covering the stem and leaving about 2.5cm/1inch of it above ground. Check your pH to make sure it is in the correct range (5.5-6.5) And when irrigating try watering about 1/4-1/3 of the pot size (i.e. if you have a 11 liter pot then irrigate with about 2.5-3 liters) and make sure there's more than 20-30% runoff!! making sure there's runoff coming out of your pot ensures even spread of your nutrients and will prevent salt buildups in the soil. The frequency of the irrigation should be according to the topsoil of your pot! let the top 5cm of your pot dry well before irrigating again, don't let it dry completely though! (the root system needs Oxygen to grow as well and by irrigating too often without letting the soil dry the roots would suffocate and die) The best method to check the soil is using your finger! shove your finger into the soil, about first-2nd knuckle deep and if the soil is still damp then wait another day, if the soil is dry then it's time to irrigate! Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)

I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think. I was thinking about LST the top colas so the lower ones can reach that height, should I cut the top leaves shadowing the lower future colas?

Too early to start defoliating. I think you'd be better off with LST to give light to those bottom colas because they still have lots of time to grow to the top.

Hey, do you know the cause of those brown spots? they appeared almost overnight... I have two of the same type with the same nutrient ecc, only this one started showing brown spots, I was away for one day and a half, when I came back they were on many leaves of one plant...

To me it looks like burning caused by too much nitrogen. Each plant is an unique individual living being, so no two plants are identical, meaning what may be ok for one can be too much for another. After looking at your diary, no wonder this plant is burnt. Is there a nutrient you have not given it? Boy oh boy, what a concoction! I would be dropping the Top Max and Bio Bloom, these are flowering nutrients and deciding on which grow nutrients to use and be using Bio Heaven and Bio Grow in rotation (one feed Bio Grow, one feed Bio Heaven) and not using them at the same time. I think you are suffering from a severe case of "fear of missing out". Your plant only needs one or two decent nutrients for any one stage, grow or bloom, and over-compensating by thinking it needs a "bit of everything" will just cause problems, as you have found out. It is far better to give just 2-4 types at any one time and then next feeding giving another mix of what it didn't get last time, rather than giving a mix of 9 different things all at once. This will overload your plant and also the substrate. The nutrients you give do not disappear from one feed to the next, with much residual nutrients remaining in the substrate, so giving, for example, root juice, each time you do, a little gets left behind in the substrate and after a time can build up to toxic levels and cause burning. However, giving root juice every fourth feeding will mean it will be all used up before the next application, which means there is a far less risk of anything building up to toxic levels in the substrate. The same goes for the other extras you are giving, the Alga mic, Acti vera and fish mix. Try giving these in a 5 cycle rotation, that is - Bio grow with Root juice, Bio grow with Alga mic, Bio Grow with Acti Vera, Bio Grow with Bio Heaven and Bio Grow with Fish Mix and this will not lead to any problems and also will not stall growth. There should be everything your plant actually needs just in the Bio Grow, adding one extra thing as a supplement will work, but giving Bio Grow and 8 other supplements will lead to all sorts of trouble. The same when you switch to flowering, give Bio Bloom with just one extra supplement in a similar 5 feeding cycle will prevent any problems with flowering, but giving Bio Grow with 5-6 supplements will cause problems. Both Bio Grow and Bio Bloom are perfectly adequate for use on their own, so go easy on your girls by cutting down on the customised "hyper blend" they are now receiving and your plants will be much happier. Feel free to message me with any more detailed explanations/questions if you are keen. Hope this helps,..... Organoman.
