This will be my first time growing a photoperiod. I have a small indoor setup, been growing 2 autos at a time in 3 gal air pots. Now I'm gonna try to grow just one plant in a 5 gallon airpot and will really spend time with and focus on her. Starting with what seems to be an amazing seed bank, Humboldt. Will be using Humboldt nutrients as well. Only training I've ever done with autos is LST. So will be Topping and trying some more higher stress training with this photo. As always I appreciate and love all tips and tricks. So fell free to comment and help me out! Started her on a root riot cube yesterday and still waiting on her to poke her head. Will be updating multiple times a week. Popped up on 4/5/18

Week 1 in the books. Transplanted from Root riot cube to solo cup on day 5. Gave her a little feeding on Day 7. Half strength Humboldt Secret nutes. The first set of leaves showed some browning on the tips of the leaves, sorta resembling Nute burn but it was before I had fed her anything. Seems to be fine and first set of true leaves coming in look fine for now. Day 12: I transplanted my lady from her crummy off brand solo cup to her new luxurious 5 gallon air pot! Seemed a little early but her roots were coming out of the bottom of the cup. When I removed her from the cup the walls were white with healthy roots. These nutes are amazing!

First off HAPPY 4/20!!!! Now..we are in week 3. Everything seems to be going smooth. Upped her nutes a little and that's about it. Seems to have good color. I have noticed some slight purple coloring in the stems, not sure if that's genetics or a deficiency. So if anyone may would have a tip let me know. Once again happy 4/20 to my fellow smokers!

What's up folks! Got my lady here coming into week 4. Upped the nutes a little. Topped her last night (day 21) between 4th and 5th node. First time I've ever topped a plant. So we will see how this goes. She's really starting to show beauty and growth! Starting to get the faint smell coming in as well. Day 26- started LST, and leaf tucking Day 28- I trimmed her up a little bit on the bottom and tucked some leaves. It's amazing how much she's grown just this week after topping her at the beginning of the week.

Coming into week 5 strong! Topped her on the first day of last week. Contemplating topping her again before I flip her. I have limited height to work with (2x4x5 tent) She is LOVING the Humboldt secret Nutes. This being my first photo I'm not a 100% sure when to flip or really what to look for. I'm use to throwing the ladies under the light and letting them run. Day 29- I ended up deciding to just LST my top two branches instead of topping again. Going to continue growing horizontally this week and will be flipping at the start of week 6 and let them stretch up from there. The ladies seem to be doing great. Getting anxious to see pistols firing soon. Day 34- fed her and will be flipping in 48 hours.

To top again? Or not to top again? That is the question. I'm working in a 2x4x5 tent so my height is limited. Not sure if I should flip now, or top the two mains again and flip at the end of this week? First photo grow so this is just one of many. Thanks fellow growers!

If it was on me I just top once! Every time you top the main stem is divided so main colas get "smaller" looks like you still have some room. So why dont you instead of topping just tie down and try to keep the canopy even. You could wait a couple of weeks more before flipping. Keep it growing horizontal until you flip and then let the stretch grow vertical you should have enough space. I grow on a 2x3x4 tent and I veg till week eight and still have room by the end.. the most important thing is to keep your canopy even. You can take a look at my diary of white widow its growing right now!

Welcome to the FLIP! First week of flowering is starting. Flipped her this morning. She's looking good. Seems to have a nice even canopy and she has good coloring. Idk if it this particular strand or if it's bc it's a photo but I've never seen a plant drink as much water as this ol gal does. Lol

Week 2 of Flowering is here and I'm still just patently waiting to see the pistols fire off. I'm not a patent person so this is the part of photos I feared and makes me miss my autos. Lol but with the size of this ol gal I think it's really gonna be worth it, as long as I do my part right.

What's up fellow growers! 3rd week of Flowering. Just feeding her like crazy and letting her get plump. Pistols are just always so sweet to see. Still a good way s to go but this is the best part! Only problem is she stretched/ing so much I'm kind of in a bind with height. But I'm trying to fig it out. Cleaned up the bottom, it was just to bush and lots of wittle buds that just wasn't gonna come close to catching the LED light.

What's up! Just another week of Flowering. Stretch is completely over with, has been for about a week. She is very close to the light I have rigged up and moved around everything possible to keep a good air flow between the light and plant. I'm starting to see some brown spots on just a few of the leaves, not on the tips like nute burn but more towards the middle. Not real sure what that is quite yet,but she still looks good great color and boy are the crystals starting to show up along with the smell.

What's up ladies and gentleman, so if youre wondering what happened and why it's been so long it's actually a good reason; me and the lady had our second son! So my attention has been else where. It's been a rough couple weeks for my ladies. My light timer messed up TWO times, I discovered my PH pen wasn't dialed in right and couldn't find another one. So yea...but she is stable and fattening up now. smell is getting stronger and really pushing a lot more crystals.

Coming into the back stretch of the grow now. I'm thinking prob 20ish days left. The smell is powerful now. Such an amazing sweet smell. She's still putting on some weight. As you can see I had to tie some support to a few of the branches. Really love this plant and can't wait to taste her fruits.

I'm still prob 3 weeks away from harvest. But my weakest point is harvesting and curing. I've always just wet trimmed and put buds on a mesh rack inside the tent. What works best for y'all? Wanna try something difrent to see if I can step my closing game up.

Hi @Slammer88! My new approach is to remove only the big fan leaves, the let the buds & small leaves dry for a week, the tiny leaves around buds are full of trichomes, and they will re-cover your buds when drying. This helps in protecting the buds for a long curing (5 to 10 weeks depending on your environment) and gives you more green happiness in the end. Then, put everything in jars for the curing process, make sure your buds are not rotting, mold can corrupt and destroy your product very quickly, you just need to open the jars 5mins everyday and move the buds for a close inspection + air freshening. Finally, act as a cooker with its fresh products : try a bit of your product whenever you think it's ready, your smoker's skills will help in setting up the perfect curing process! Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!

All feeding is done. Will just be giving her PHed water for the rest of her life; which is coming to an end soon! She's been so great and really resistant to the beating I gave her a month ago. The Smell is AMAZING! My mouth is watering for this one lol

The flush is on, has been for a few days now. She will be chopped on 7/12! She's my most anticipated plant I've ever grown. The smell is out of this world and She's starting to show some beautiful color. Really excited for this one Update 7/12- plant has been chooped and rough trimmed and is now hanging. will post harvest week after done drying.
