I was Invited by @Silky_smooth, to be into aCompetition called EGGHUNT
That means, Growing into 50G Growmedium or less
Thats a Challenge.
After finding some Nice Growpots, I started my Seeds.
Like always into a glass of lukewarm Water.
Then under Kitchensponge, and af w Days later we had some nice Roots
Monday
All Seeds were Planted, and kindly watered with Waterand some Humic Acid Plus
So we are waiting for them to show up.
I hope you like my Miniature Garden too😍
January 1st.
They were showing up very fast, Iam going for Day one today,,,
,,Because there are more vessels than only the " Ladyhead"
I planted 4 tealightholders in ametal Frame
I hope I can so some training on them
Until now Iam quite Happy , and we will see more soon
Thank you Silky_smooth for this Egghunt_Invitation----- i needed some Challenge for sure
January, 11th.
Seedlings are Planted in a 4 Bowl Tealightholder
and 2 more Black Sheeps
The Plants in the Sheeps are trained, to give them aUniqui Shape
One has a knot into the stem
the other is trained with Pipecleaner
The Plants in the Tealight holder ( 4 Plants)... are planned
to build a Heart in bringing them Together ( 2 Plants each)... we will see
Stay Tuned for the Updates
January, 17th.
We are starting Week 3 here
I try to keep them happy but its challenging
Some look good and happy others not,,,,
thats the way
I started feeding with 0.5 ml/l Organic Grow Liquid
The Plants are into a colder Growspace .
They get maximum 20 Degree if Lights are on.
and colder if Lights are off
That slows the whole Plantsystem down.
But that is absolutely ok for me.
Its easier to control them that way
January, 24th.
We are entering Week 4 of Vegetation
After i started to feed them . Girls look very good.
Leaves are sprouting, and they look quite happy.
The Temperatures are quite cold for the Ladies. Its only 18 degree. But in this case its
very good. Because the Cold slows down the metabolism of the Plants
Thanks again to @Silky_Smooth, for beeing into that EGGHUNT
That means, you grow with only 50 g of Soil.
In my case its only 25 grams in the Sheeps,
and its challenging , but i learn a lot
Friday, January29th.
Girls are alive and most of them look Happy
They are watered twice aDay, with aFeedingsolution
( beneficals and Fertiliser EC 1)
Today Girls are going into Flower
and Iam very courious
February, 6th
The Plants are entering the second Week of Flower.
All Plants looking very Good.
Nice and green.
Its o much fun to grow in that small vessels....
I measured and its only 10g of Soil in the Sheeps
Only the candleholders got more Volume
Iam watering the Sheeps 2-3 Times daily , in letting them "dive" into the Feedingsolution
Iam very happy to be challengend by this, Ima feeling prepped to Grow
Soilless or Hydro
Have Fun with my " EGGHUNT"-Grows
Sunday, Feb. 14th.
All Plants alive yaay... thats abig success for me
because its not so easy to keep them happy
10g of Soil are getting dry very fast
and its like agameof juggeling with the water... not overwatering/ not underwatering
Some Plants look alittle droopy but well, most Time looking good
I can see tiny Preflowers
Stay tuned
Saturday, Feb. 20th
What a Funride....
I looovwe that Egghunt... Thank you again @Silky_smooth...
I learned "Sheeploads" about Growing in small Containers
But back to the " Eggs"
Shheps contain 10g ( in meatime less) of Soil
and they are Bathing into Feedingsolution up to 2 Times aDay
Getting sprayed with fast Plants spray
All showing tiny Flowers, and there is much more to come
I changed the Fertiliser to " Organic more PK"... 1ml/l
and the Beneficals stay
I think 4 more Weeks and we are done
Monday, March1st.
The Plants develop very Good. Buds aer swelling,
I took some clay onto the surface, and its now easier for me
to keep them happy
I learned so much, that its now an easy Task to grow like this....
Its one of the best Plant in the World, and so much fun to Grow her
#legalize
#stopp Prohibition
March 9th.
I nearly forgot the Update from the " Eggs"
These Plants are growing in less than 10 g of Soil
Feeding/ watering daily . They are diving into the Feedingsolution
Its alittle tricky to keep them happy but , I feel it works
Flowers are stacking and Leaves are fading alittle
everything asign for Final Weeks
Those Runtz smell like Heaven
I still have alot of Fun with those Grows
March14th
Smooth sailing here.
Plants are getting closer to Harvest
Buds are stacking, Pistils get orange, Leaves are fading
They smell wonderful
Iam so happy with those mini-grows.
Girls are sitting in around 10g of Soil
Watering // Feeding daily in diving into the Feedingsolution, that has an Ec of 1200
March, 20th
We are coming very close to Harvest... just a few days longer,
no big Word, Pictures speak for themselves
If you want to learn alot about growing ( and yourself, )
look for a tealightholder and Plant a Seed
its a very nice Experience, with mostly mixed Emotions in the Beginning
But then its pure Joy
Thanks to @silky_smooth for the Invited to the " Egghuntchallenge"
March, 24th.
I harvested today half of the " Runtz"- Ladies 3 Plants still growing .
What a Journey,
I enjoyed this "Egghunt " so much
Last Decemmber @Silky_smooth, wrote me, if i want to participate into a Challenge
called " Egghunt"
That means growing a Plant from Seed into 50g Of Soil// Medium
That means as much as fit into an Eggshell.
So i did not think a lot and said yes. And the " EGGHUNT" begun.
I started looking for funny // sweet little Growcontainers, and I found some Fancy ones.
Black Sheeps, white Sheeps, ( Eggcups) , and some Tealightholders, one like a Rabbit, and a " Bridge"
i filled Soil into the Cups, and Into the Sheepcups were under 10 gram of Soil. The " cups" from the Bridge had 35 g
Sooooo... challenge accepted!!
In the Beginning it was hard to me not to overwater them. But they Mastered my drownings very well
After 14 Days i had to manage the Feeding of the Girls. Until that time they only got Beneficals and the Nutes from the 10g Soil.
But i got some help from my Growmies, how to feed them , ( not over and underfeed).....Stoney gave me the Hint for an EC of 1000-1200
And so i did it
I mixed bigger amounts of Feedingsolution, and the little Cups were diving into the Feedingsolution daily.
I could see they got nice color and look fresh again.
The bigger they got, the more they liked to drink
Then i switched after 5 Weeks from Vegetation into Floweringmode.
So they were diving 2 times in the Day into the Feedingsolution. not every Day, but very often..
From there on, it became much easier to me. Because i could see what they need.
And the Fun began.
Buds were swelling, and Flowers were smelling.
In the last 2 Weeks i topdressed with laygranules, to keep humidity into the Cups
Until we reached Today..
So Today i cut them and ooked into the cups, and i got to say,,, i could snot see any sooil, only ROOTS....
Solid , totally woven Roots. Most of the Soil was flushed away from the divings.
But Plants looked good until last Day
CONCLUSION:
I learned so much in this Challenge.I learned so much about Watering/Feeding.. and having Fun on the Little Things
I feel like i have Grown, together with my little Plants. I feel very confident to do Soilless/ DWC or any other grow
hahaha... I feel like i can grow everything...
I hope you had the same Fun like me into that " EGGHUNT"
And thank you @Silky_smooth, for asking me to paricipate
Legalize that wonderful Plant!!!
Yesterday the last Plants were Harvested
they were siiitng in th biggest containers like 30 g of Soil
iam so surprised about the Outcome, and they smell and look very Promising
@Polaskis,thy very much... its interesting how many Eggcups you can find , just look at ebay thats insane....
and i like the black , grass chewing sheep the most,,,,, they are just like me^^,,,hahaha
What an insightful post and the information learned about feeding will be invaluable.
That's quite a few words starting with In'. 😂
Congrats on the grows all so cute and the plants look great at the finish. Really good fun👍👍
Just saw that crazyness and thought I am way too high to give a proper answer but I think I like it. I like that you see growing as a lifestyle and not only for the biggest harvests.
The diaries you have fun without any pressure are normally the best ones.
Just prepping something different grow methods. Trying two Bonsais and a test with polymersiation-beads luked with nutrition as "soil".
@MarcXL,you nailed it....and yes now i have a name for my kind of growing... its my lifestyle....i was not thinking about it... but you defined it clearly
and your ploymer beds sounds interesting,,, keep us updated
