Started to train this week. I just use paper clips and binder clips with some tooth floss. They are not as pretty as some of the other techniques I have seen on here. But the wax on the floss keeps the tension and it doesn't stretch. I just cut and retie new lines as needed. They have also been added to the bigger 5 gallon pots. One of the topped branches on my Zkittlez was a bit stunted but seems to be catching up now.
I often intervene on several of my seeds to get the seed shell off. I’ve only ever damaged one, and learned from that. It usually helps to get the area wet, and let it soak for just a few seconds. There’s a layer underneath the hard seed shell that is like a membrane that is not pliable at all when dry, but once you wet it, it is easily maneuverable. So I usually get tweezers and carefully take it off.. but only if it’s obviously stuck on there good. A lot of times the seed comes off but not the membrane.
Ps- I don’t mind ILGM bland seed bags, I’d rather money poured into good genetics rather than advertising on seed bags
Good luck!!
