My second grow, nice! I’ve been so excited to get started on this one ever since I got these seeds like a month ago!
I have seen so much positive feedback on the 3 bears OG that I had to try it, it seems like a fan favorite. I also was very intrigued by the sweet and smelly lineage which was why I had to grab some as well. Next grow will be Sour Stomper and the freebies they provided, Cosmic Queen x Mango Smile I believe it is.
Going with the rockwool cube germination method as it worked perfectly last time, I don’t really like having to move a taproot around with my fingers as I will probably break it. Will probably let the gals grow a set of leaves or 2 and then transplant to dwc.
A bit late because I’ve been busy but the sweet n smelly is looking great. Roots are doing great already got it’s feet in the res. Took well to nutes as well. Not much else to say!
Sweetnsmelly still doing well. Slight drooping which I can’t figure out why but no obvious signs of stress, new growth still coming in nicely.
Update: drooping has cleared up
Missed last weeks update but here we are again, sweet n smelly looking so good as always, no signs of stress whatsoever. LST has been working very well, expecting her to start stretching within the next week or so.
I was so busy this week that I forgot to check on the girls for 2 days... to my dismay they drank all of their water! I went in tonight to change it and saw that there was almost none left! I felt so bad for them I’m sure that was stressful for them, and unfortunately sweet n smelly developed some sort of deficiency, it looks most similar to a phosphorus deficiency so I’m hoping the new water and nutes helps this. It didn’t get too out of hand, only 1 or 2 leaves severely affected and 3 or 4 others with minor symptoms.
Otherwise, growth is healthy, entering flowering now. Probably last week of major LST, the canopy is looking really nice and even so I’m very happy about that.
I’ve also been trying to defoliate less as I’ve been reading some stuff about not defoliating autos. I’ve obviously had great results defoliating autos before, but I’m curious to see if the bud quality improves at all.
Canopy is looking so good! Wayyy better than my last grow, these girls stretched way less which is so good for me because I had a lot of space issues last time around. Buds are developing nicely, has some earlier issues of leaf discoloration but it appears to have cleared up for the most part thankfully.
Great week of flowering, the plants are in full chug mode and are now drinking their entire res worth of water in under 4 days... canopy is looking so good and I’m so ecstatic to see the culmination of everything I’ve learned so far in one amazing looking plant! Props to Mephisto on this new strain, although I can’t say for sure how good it will smoke I can say for sure that these are some sturdy, very well bred plants!!
@CiutatVella, that’s awesome I’m glad I can be of resource! I’m hyped to see yours once it comes, I’m sure an outdoor grow has the potential to get huge!
