SUMMARY: Switched up to Mid Bloom nutes this week and I am starting to add 1 tablespoon of organic blackstrap molasses to every 5L. Many say that Molasses is only good for soil and so is pointless with coco however some swear it acts as a bloom booster due to the active ingredients. For the price of a jar of molasses its worth trying.
Still feeding twice per day with an average of 450-500ml per day which produces 20-50% runoff.
DAY 57
------
Tuesday 23rd February 11:00
I fed the Amnesia 400ml early bloom nutes which produced 130ml runoff (32%).
Tuesday 23rd February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 200ml of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced 60ml runoff (30%).
With the dehumidifier set to 50% RH it seems to keep it at around 50% RH though the temps between 25-30Β°C. If I turn the dehumidifier off the RH climbs to 60-64%. Removing more leaves will lower the humidity and I do pluck the odd one every day that is blocking light (I rotate the plants daily 25Β° per day to ensure all sides get a fair share of light). [25Β°C/50%]
DAY 58
------
Wednesday 24th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes with molasses which produced 120ml runoff (40%).
Wednesday 24th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia a further 200ml of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced 20ml runoff (10%).
The temps have risen to 30Β°C due to the dehumidifier. It is currently set to 50% RH which keeps the temps around 28-30Β°C and the RH at around 38-40%. I have increased the setting to 65% to see if that helps lower the temp and increase the RH up to 45-50%. [30Β°C/40%]
DAY 59
------
Thursday 25th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes which produced 60ml runoff (20%).
I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 5.9 and 5L at a pH of 5.8
Thursday 25th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 270ml of mid bloom nutes which produced 180ml runoff (67%). [22Β°C/55%]
DAY 60
------
Friday 26th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes which produced 120ml runoff (40%).
I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 6.0 and 5L at a pH of 5.6.
Friday 26th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 100ml of early bloom nutes which produced 10ml runoff (10%). [22Β°C/55%]
DAY 61
------
Saturday 27th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes which produced 120ml runoff (40%).
Saturday 27th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 200ml of mid bloom nutes which produced 110ml runoff (55%). [22Β°C/55%]
DAY 62
------
Sunday 28th February
11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml mid bloom nutes which produced 150ml runoff (50%).
Sunday 28th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 200ml of mid bloom nutes which produced 150ml runoff (75%). [22Β°C/55%]
DAY 63
------
Monday 1st March 11:00
I fed the Amnesia 300ml of mid bloom nutes which produced 110ml runoff (36%).
I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 6.1 and 5L at a pH of 5.8.
Monday 1st March 18:00
I fed the Amnesia 200ml of mid bloom nutes which produced 100ml runoff (50%). [22Β°C/50%]
@rockbo47, I watched from seed to stoned on YouTube he did a few himself and they came out good from seed to harvest didn't yield particularly well but the end product looked good, good luck to ya I be keeping an eye on ur feed im intrigued to see how u get on in the solo cup might be something I might try myself π
Appreciate the reply happy growing mate
@Syrunz, Thanks man, yeah she's not doing bad is she. This is just an experiment and I plan to just let her do her thing in the solo cup throughout the entire grow. I MAY defoliate a little but if I can help it I plan to leave her be and just feed her. If I can get one nice dense cola I'll be stoked!
The plants look great, healthy π Thanks for all the nutrient info, I've been using water solubles and am thinking of switching to liquid products. π
@rockbo47, Agreed, I had the same difficulty finding info but this site has helped with that. I find the nutrient, water, timing combo so strain/environment specific that every new grow can be a challenge π Good Luck!
@Grisly, Thanks for the comment, glad to hear people can make use of my efforts that's why I'm documenting it so thoroughly and it is quite time consuming. When I did my first grow I couldn't find enough info on how much water to give when seedlings, when exactly to start nutes etc so figured I would create a good frame of reference. I only used liquid nutes as I could not get hold of any dry amendments but I'm comfortable with the liquid nutes now.
