SUMMARY: Still on early bloom nutes this week though I have began adding 1 tablespoon of molasses per 5L of feed as of day 56. Theres debate about its effectiveness in coco however some sources infrm that at worst it might act as a bloom booster due to the active ingredients but for the price of a jar its worth trying.
DAY 50
--------
Tuesday 16th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 500ml early bloom nutes which produced 350ml runoff (70%).
I made 10L of early bloom nutes with rainwater, 5L at a pH of 5.8 and 5L at a pH of 5.9.
I forgot to turn the heat down over night and the humidity is at 56% currently. [22Β°C/56%]
Tuesday 16th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 130ml of early bloom nutes which produced 40ml runoff (30%).
I turned the dehumidifier on and set it to 45% as the RH had climbed to 62%. [22Β°C/62%]
DAY 51
--------
Wednesday 17th February 12:00
I fed the Amnesia 500ml early bloom nutes which produced 350ml runoff (70%).
I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water, 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6.
Wednesday 17th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 150ml of early bloom nutes which produced 50ml runoff (33%). [23Β°C/55%]
DAY 52
--------
Thursday 18th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 200ml early bloom nutes which produced 90ml runoff (45%).
Thursday 18th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 200ml of early bloom nutes which produced 100ml runoff (50%).
I had to move the light up again by 2 inches to accommodate for growth as it was sitting at 14" above the canopy. [24Β°C/52%]
DAY 53
--------
Friday 19th February 12:00
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes which produced 150ml runoff (50%).
Friday 19th February 18:30
I found the tent at 28% RH. No idea how that's occurred but I did notice it was hotter then usual this morning. I turned the dehumidifier of for a couple of hours and it jumped back up to 61% and so I will just set it to 55% RH.
I fed the Amnesia a further 200ml of early bloom nutes which produced 180ml runoff (90%). I think she only needs the one feed per day of 300ml. [24Β°C/52%]
DAY 54
------
Saturday 20th February 11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes which produced 50ml runoff (17%). The tent temp has been sat at around 23Β°C overnight somehow. The dehumidifier keeping the humidity around 45-50% seems to also keep the temps between 23-27Β°C.
Saturday 20th February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia a further 170ml of early bloom nutes which produced 45ml runoff (27%).
Looks like I have a humidity problem and so ive reluctantly removed some more leaves from Jesus as she is bushy again after a week or perhaps I didnt defol enough. If I have the dehumidifier off the humidity is in the low 60s but if I lower it to like 45-50% then the temps stays too high between 24Β°C-33Β°C. [22Β°C/64%]
DAY 55
------
Sunday 21st February
11:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml early bloom nutes which produced 120ml runoff (40%). I made 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 5.8 and 5L of mid bloom nutes at a pH of 5.6, both made with tap water.
Sunday 21st February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia a further 100ml of early bloom nutes which produced no runoff at all. [22Β°C/49%]
DAY 56
------
Monday 22nd February 11:45
I fed the Amnesia 400ml early bloom nutes which produced 130ml runoff (32%). I made 5L of mid bloom nutes with rain water at a pH of 5.9.
I am adding half a tablespoon of molasses to every 5L now by adding just enough boiling water to liquify the molasses and then pour it into the feed.
Monday 22nd February 18:30
I fed the Amnesia 300ml of early bloom nutes with molasses which produced 130ml runoff (43%). [22Β°C/55%]
@rockbo47, I watched from seed to stoned on YouTube he did a few himself and they came out good from seed to harvest didn't yield particularly well but the end product looked good, good luck to ya I be keeping an eye on ur feed im intrigued to see how u get on in the solo cup might be something I might try myself π
Appreciate the reply happy growing mate
@Syrunz, Thanks man, yeah she's not doing bad is she. This is just an experiment and I plan to just let her do her thing in the solo cup throughout the entire grow. I MAY defoliate a little but if I can help it I plan to leave her be and just feed her. If I can get one nice dense cola I'll be stoked!
The plants look great, healthy π Thanks for all the nutrient info, I've been using water solubles and am thinking of switching to liquid products. π
@rockbo47, Agreed, I had the same difficulty finding info but this site has helped with that. I find the nutrient, water, timing combo so strain/environment specific that every new grow can be a challenge π Good Luck!
@Grisly, Thanks for the comment, glad to hear people can make use of my efforts that's why I'm documenting it so thoroughly and it is quite time consuming. When I did my first grow I couldn't find enough info on how much water to give when seedlings, when exactly to start nutes etc so figured I would create a good frame of reference. I only used liquid nutes as I could not get hold of any dry amendments but I'm comfortable with the liquid nutes now.
