Apr 5th,
- stating that I had only performed “A Little” LST on the ladies... I was lmao as I pulled the LST hardware from the plants the other nite. Had to include a picture. Forgot how many branches “I Helped”
- Thanks to “Mrs_Larimar” for answering my question about yellowing sugar leaves on Autos...
The LST that I applied, has indeed extended the grow cycle of the plants and I have to apply some patience to this last part of the cycle. Trichomes and sugar leaves are the key indicators over the next couple weeks. It could be that long of an extension. TBD

- tonight’s feeding of H2O/Molasses/Rezin was full-sized as there is still a large Root system in use and the show is not over! 10L / 2
Maui Wowie got a deep watering, with only a small amount seeping through the bottom !! Success
9th a.m. There are quite a few Fan leaves that have just begun to show the crispy signs of aging and yellowing. It has not begun on the sugar leaves yet, but it’s hapnin !!
- Trichome checks & photos tonight
- I have no control for removing humidity in this small tent in the basement, other than moving air. Spring and maintaining a low humidity, seem to be opposites. Avg RH is above 50 this week, All is good.
11th, did I ever blow that! I changed weeks of flower 2 days early. Edited wrong batch... damn
-pictures from last nite look good. Will carry on updating this week. And next... sorry
- Trichome checks tonight
Apr 12th, the Trichomes are showing quite an increased number that have turned Amber throughout the samples. this may be the last lite tonight for the plants... end of week 12 !?
When planting seeds directly to soil, Is it necessary to re-pot them into medium-sized containers... or does it make any sense to go directly to larger, final pot?
With autos I think it’s best to go straight from your starter pot into your final chosen pot size. Potting up multiple times is better suited to normal photoperiod type plants.
The reason for this is minimal transplant shock slowing growth and not inhibiting its root growth.
Happy growing buddy👍
@Mrs_Larimar, thanks again, I had lost track of How Much assistance I had provided to the plants, until I started pulling Wires & bamboo.
it makes perfect sense to have delayed full ripening a couple of weeks. First auto-grow, I appreciate the words leading to patient actions
@Roberts, fyi in my 40th year of appreciation… and 3rd as a grower. Lol so there is a bit of a database. But its beautiful that there are so many actual resources. questions = answers.
Man, what a beautiful harvest! I am new to all and on my first indoor grow. Autos are something I want to try. I found you by search for Beaver Seeds. I am an outdoor gardener, not cannabis, so I am familiar with seed quality. Beaver seeds genetics appear to be very good. Dude, you make me impatient with my garden. You do a wonderful job my friend! Thank you for the pictures and the detailed explanation and notes. Diaries like yours... help beginners like me. Thanks!
@Wyregrasser, Hey! you just made my day. Thanks for digging around and so happy you found something to chew-on.
This site is great, people will share facts and we all love the same things. I’m still learning daily…
