Left two seeds in a shot glass of room temperature spring water overnight and they both split open and sunk without being dunked with my finger. Transferred them to a moistened paper towel on a plate in a dark closet at 68 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. I will check the seeds first thing tomorrow morning. As soon as they have at least a half inch root tail sprouting, I have two 18 ounce Solo cups already packed with Fox Farms Ocean Forest with a 3/8 inch pencil tip indent to transfer them to. I typically only give plants a week in the Solo cups but, obviously, I will have to wait and see how much they grow and if they grow at all. Last CBDutch Treat grow I waited two weeks and when removing them for transplant to 5 gallon felt bags they had roots climbing back up the sides of the soil. So, two weeks might be too long. I want to see roots at the bottom of the packing not climbing up the sides to the light. At some point between now and next week, I will clean out two of my felt bags so there are no leftover nutrients soaked into the bags. I have also scrubbed the tent clean while everything is off the floor and the last grow is drying in there. When the last grow heads into mason jars to cure, I plan on rearranging my fan and light set-up in the tent. Currently the carbon filter for the fan is just sitting perpendicular with the floor supporting the weight of the fan. I would like to hang it as high as I can to clear up some real estate on the floor. I am excited this time around to try main-lining and light stress training. I have my fingers crossed that both of these seeds germinate well because I only have two seeds left for the next grow. Also hopeful that there is at least an ounce or two on the scales after drying of the last grow. I will update the other diary when I weigh them.
