I can't comment on the taste and effects of this harvest yet but if it is anything like the last batch of CB Dutch Treat, it is a smooth smoke that tastes earthy and creamy and can be smoked anytime of day. The CBD is fantastic for my anxiety and keeps me calm and worry free. The THC is low enough that I can function as normal without couch lock or paranoia. It is also great a few hours before bed to keep me asleep through the whole night. The buds are dense and very sticky. While I had one of two this time around grow very awkward, it actually provided larger, denser buds.
The recommended doses are too high. Shocked both plants and delayed their growth by a week. Use a 1/3rd of the recommended doses. Don't know if these helped as I switched back to Fox Farm nutes after the shock.
I still have to fully trim these after drying but I'm guessing there is going to be about 2 ounces after cure.
I have already started on 2 Peach Puree plants and 1 Blueberry Fem in solo cups. Cleaned out the mess in the tent for the P.P. and am planting the Blueberry outside. First outdoor grow ever. I am excited and nervous about having zero control over the grow and letting nature do it's thing.
Update: 3 dried ounces! Started cure yesterday. I'm sure they'll lose a little weight during cure BUT ... I was hoping for 2 ounces and got 3! they aren't going to shed a whole ounce during cure so I am very excited. They smell fantastic! I will sample after a month. Then divide it up into 2 larger mason jars and give one to my brother who smokes a hell of a lot more than I do. He is usually an Indica guy but he seems to love the CB Dutch Treat. I'm sure it being free smoke is a perk. I love it too.
