The pH issue seems to be resolved, and the plant is “acting” happy. Leaves are stretched out and the canopy appears to be active. That being said, the pH issue identified last week and the flush after resulted in little to no “nutrients” available to the plant for too long.
Unfortunately, my correction of one issue may have resulted in the creation of another one. I see no more issue with phosphorus, but I do see some signs of a potential immobile nutrient deficiency and a potential Ca deficiency.
I have returned to feeding normally and she does appear to be improving, or at least not worsening. It is my hope that these back to back assaults do not impact her too much.
Can’t stress enough the importance of not over looking the little things that have huge impacts. Not a mistake I’m proud of and one I hope to never make again.
Again, she seems to be rebounding, and I have moved all over to the flower tent now that a few pistils are starting to pop up. Other than keeping an excessively over watchful eye on things, my goal is to get back to a preventable state of practice instead of a reactionary and treatment based one.
Thanks!!
Apologies TB! I missed this one…thanks a million, it was a good run. First relatively successful one with a decent yield! I’m just so proud of this one😢👍
Indeed, this was a good run! Denser this time around too. I appreciate your tips and feedback, every little tweak helps for sure. How’d you make out with yours? I hadn’t seen an update on how that zkittlez auto did. Take it slow bro.
@Guwap1337, I set the light at about 25%-30% while in early veg, around week 3-4 I’ll turn up to 50% and see how plants react. If they respond well, I’ll keep it there until transition to flower and then slowly creep up to 75%. I will not go to 100% until they are well into flower. Kind of a long way of saying I slowly dial things up from veg to flower and let the plant tell me if it’s too much. I’ve had to play around a bit to figure it out.
