Already loving this girl! She took kindly to my first topping, and even moreso to the second set! Got her started on the 'Cali Green' formula at the beginning of the week and I've been watching her response. Solid! Seems like she's set to do some serious growth in the coming month. I'll chuck her straight into flower as soon as she has a 1ft-wide spread. Maybe one more topping to look forward to, but mostly defol. from here on out.
Cheers everyone and stay safe! 🙌😷
This one is still chugging along despite my issues with the other Dark Heart Clone. Ordered a new 1000w "equiv." LED light from Amazon that I'll be using in place of the 100w cfl. Should have that set up by tonight, if Amazon is timely. No nutes this week, maybe 1/6 of rec. dosage if any.
Cheers all, stay safe and stoned! 👌💯
She's been a real challenge due to changing her environment around quite a bit this past week. Had to take down the 2x2 and set up a smaller 2x2x3 in my garage. That's where she currently resides. I've set her and all of my other veg plants with a '1000W equiv.' quantum board I bought off Amazon. Not sure as to it's efficacy, but it's definitely powerful. Should suffice as a veg light. If not, I'll simply replace it with the original CFL two weeks from now. For about 4 days, however, I had all my veg plants in the flowering tent. So I hope this doesn't set her and the other girls back too badly. I noticed her leaves are starting to show early toxicity signs along with overwatering symptoms. So I'm going to dial back on nutrients for about a week or two while I assess the problem. Hope she recovers strongly. I may defoliate further depending on how she acts.
Decided I would revive this one once we got to the halfway point of my current flowering tent. And I've purposely stunted her in order to make sure she doesn't overgrow my veg tent. Now I applied a good feeding earlier in the week and she'll be trained/maintained just as the others from here on out.
She's been showing flowering/reveg symptoms up until this week. Now I see happy green growth. No more deformities.
Here we go, going to be a bit of a pain to train her, but at least she's well on her way now! Finally got my veg tent all dialed in, I've got one more stragglers that needs fixing, but that's it. Should be set up for perpetual now.
Got her transplanted into a 2.5 gallon pot. Worm castings at the bottom layer. Going to likely hold off on feeding to let it have a smoother transition.
So this marks the first week of flower! Hopefully all the bullshit I put her through will result in a far more resilient plant during flower. Only time will tell, though.🤞
Cheers though everyone, my banana daddy run is just about complete. Got the photo and then it's time to move on 😎 Hope you ALL harvest some dankness!
Alright... wow. A lot happened to this plant since my last update. So I had her go through a whole veg/flower cycle. She was a very tiny plant. Decided to reveg her outside until she was ready for the tent and now here we are.
At this point, we're 3 weeks into flower, so let's just pick up from there. While outside, she suffered spider mites and thrips. I treated her with neem oil for an entire week before sending her into flower. Still showing mite/thrip damage on a lot of the older leaves! But the new growth looks nice and happy.
Training procedures up until now: I did very minimal training. Only removed lower buds before reveg and I haven't touched any of the fan leaves. This may not be optimal for the plant, I'm likely going to do a heavy defol. Sometime this week or next. She's showing signs of deficiency, but I don't want to overload her with nutrients. So I've just been top-coating the Terp Tea Bloom and watering it in.(One tbsp, Once every other week)
Cheers everyone! Hopefully she responds well to some TLC.
We're definitely reaching the final stretch in this plant's lifespan. Hit her with a flush today and so it's t-minus 7-8 days until harvest. Excited to chop her down, she smells awesome. I can definitely smell strawberry notes, but it's being overpowered by a strong layer of skunk. Very powerful smell.
Cheers everyone 😎
