Sooo this is the week that I gave up on Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. No matter what I did I could not get the ph into a good range. Dolamite lime seemed to only work in one plant bringing to ph down within a workable time frame after i pulled an already transplanted auto out of its pot and hand remix the soil to evenly spread the lime. I didnt want to do that with rest so did a heavy water hoping to help push the lime to deeper into the container. However overnight the plants had extreme calmag and other issues. The acidic soil was taking too long to balance out and all plants were showing deficiencies from top to bottom. Basically too much nutes from the soil being hot and the ph way out of wack making the environment toxic. So i decided to transplant all of them out of ffof into coco coir. So basically nothing has gone right from day 1 and waiting for microbes to fix the problem wasnt going to work with how rapid the issues was moving up the plants. I got some Cocodelphia and general hydroponics flora series and started flushing the crap out of them with 1/4 nutes and calmag. Its been super bumpy and all have had issues with stunted growth from the acidic soil and calmag problems, nute burn, nute lockout had a mix of it all. Crash course week lol
