PURPLE PUNCH!
Excited to try Barney's Farm. First time with there genetics and first time with a purple variety. I will do another 4 way mainline like I did with my Black Jack #2. This around however I will keep the top and clone it so I can apply Silver Colloidal to get some female pollen. Then make some Purple Punch Feminized seeds and have some to create another hybrid or two, this time feminized seeds 😎
That is the idea anyway! Will see how it all pans out.
I also got a Super Sprouter kit that will be great for future germinations and cuttings.
For now it is one seed of Purple Punch, and will start another (the future mother for Fem seeds) in like 4 more weeks.
Soak for 24hr, paper towel until seed case sheds, plant. Cheers 😎
Excited to start this purple variety. First purple and first time growing with Barney's Farm which is very cool! Germination took couple days but off to great healthy looking start. Cheers!
Saw the first sign of a pistil and then topped it to promote side branches for the base. Attempting to clone the top to make some female pollen if all goes well. The lower leaves got a little residual burn from a smaller plant I was spraying next to her, which I have since moved outside to not mess with her anymore. Other then that all seems well.
Top is establishing roots in my cloning chamber, first roots seen 8 days after cutting, light treatments of Silver P.
Base filling in and recovered from topping great. Mainlining the base that is filling in great. All is great with both sides.
Filling in great, staying short and small. Slowly taking off.
The cloned top had some really long and strong roots developed so I planted it and will continue to treat to get female pollen sacks.
Going well! I transplanted into a bigger container and that is about it. Leaves curling for unknown reason. But still growing so I am going to let her do her thing. Should be kicking back into flowering this week or next week I would guess. All good things!
Growing still kinda slower, slowly starting to flower. Top is developing nice pollen sacks and will be able to produce more feminized Purple punch seeds at the least. Would like to cross it with Black Jack and make a Purple Jackpot hybrid. Time will tell.
Really recovering well and starting to flower and fill in quickly. I tied down each of the two mainlines to promote side growth. Cloned top is getting ready to start producing pollen, it should produce female pollen over the next couple weeks which I will pollinate some of the base to produce a small supply of purple punch auto seeds. Excited to see how she continues to flower and fill in. All good things.
Really filling in a lot. Getting bushy, lot of defoliation, excellent bud sites developing. 2nd cutting rooted after a week and took pics day 12 from cutting. Also cut a 3rd cutting off to use to make more female pollen.
Was able to successfully create a batch of feminized Purple Punch seeds that are cooking now. Nice fat Calyx's and generally this girl is growing fantastically. Taken 4 cuttings of her so far and she is not slowing down. Excited to see how the bud sites fill in.
Flowers not as big as I wanted. Transplanted as the pot she was in was not the best and so wanted to at least give her some fresh soil to finish. Smells great though and I have gotten over 100 feminized seeds from her so another great productive autoflower.
She is on her last days, did not fill in as much as I was hoping but really nice long buds. Smells fruity and great. Will get about 2unces of flower on top of the around 100 Feminized seeds I successfully made by crossing the mother with a clone of herself to copy the strain.
Was a great plant. Was able to top it and clone the top, then create female pollen sacks with said clone and pollinate the mother to copy this strain. Pollinbated her earlier in flowering and as a result the bud development was stunted. But still harvested little over 6 ounces wet and have over 100 Feminized Purple Punch seeds as well. All in all I very pleased with this girl.
Are these actually Barney genetics? Just curious as I won the Holiday Contest and their current contest and have "FREE - Feminised Freebies – Seedsman Blueberry Fem" coming. I should be receiving them any day.
I’m glad I caught the photo because I got these for Black Friday as well. I think this is the first diary I’ve seen for this strain so I can’t wait to see how it does for you! I got all three of the limited edition seedsman autos and can’t wait to pop them!
@Dirty_Hippy, My first photo seed I grew from that was Wedding Cake and it was a male. Few autos I have grown from the prize pack all female. Hoping it was just a one off with the wedding cake seeds, 2 left so will see. But that is cool! Will definitely check out. 👍
@Troy_Farms, @FreshCoastOrganics, Awesome job with those S1's. Nice lookin buds too! If you want to look, I have Rudeboi and Alien Rock Candy of the seedsman black friday giveaway photoperiod diaries complete. I am about 2/3 through with all of the autos + strawberry cheesecake auto.
The photoperiod strains were phenomenal. That ARC is worth growing just to get to watch her.
