Hello. The plants are doing well. Plant #1 is sure bulking up with some big buds on the top. Plant #2 is a little more spread out with lots of golf ball sized buds along the stocks. The branches on plant #2 are getting heavy and I had to reach in and tie up the plants upper buds, my fingers looked wet with resin. The plants have a rose/lavender/hash smell, delightful! This is the last week of flushing. The first week of flushing I added 10 ppm municipal water to top the up the reservoir and the water leveled off at around 650 ppm. This week of flushing will probably level off at around 350 ppm. That's all for now. Chuck.

@Ned_Grows,Hello Friend. Thanks for your concern but once I recover from my surgery I will start smoking again. I guess I had better add that to my last report. I had my tonsil removed yesterday and am doing good. I heard before the operation that it is very painful but it only hurts when I swallow. Best wishes, Chuck.

Interesting facts about the Tonsil and the form of painless lymphoid cancer it can create, is it just your Tonsil that you've had problems with and have you ever smoked Tobaco or just Cannabis. I only ask all this because I'm a bit concerned for my own health as well, I don't smoke Tobaco but I smoke Cannabis everyday. Also can you please explain the Co2 lantern blue flame method. Take it easy buddy my fingers are crossed for you as well mate

@Chucky324, G'day Buddy. My Dad passed away last year from stage 4 throat cancer, RIP I miss him so much. It all happened so fast within a year from being diagnosed to the day he was gone. When I think about it I feel very depressed, he was a heavy smoker & drinker. I wasn't aware of the Harvard study about Cannabis smoke not causing cancer that's definitely a relief to know. It's good that you don't smoke tobaco anymore I really hope your in the clear mate. I used to follow a medical cannabis grower on utube his name was Cheff B he was a Canadian as well you might had heard of him anyway he ended up being diagonsed with stage 4 lung cancer and he is no longer with us very sad as well because I followed him for a long time and I felt like I personally knew him, he smoked tobaco for many years also. Thanks for the tips about generating Co2 from a lamp or bbq that's something new that I have learnt and yes I see your concern about the risk of fire you would have to be extra careful with this method. Take it easy mate talk again soon 👍

@Ned_Grows, Hi Buddy. That was one of the first question the doctor asked, had I smoked tobacco. Yes I smoked for a lot of years. I was never a heavy smoker, I tried to limit to about 1 cigarette a hour and only smoked more when I was having beers. I quit about 9 years ago but I vaped a electric cigarette for more than a year before I was finally able to quit. None of my other lymphoid glands are swollen, the doctor checked. You have 2 glands you can check, that are just under your jaw bone, under your molars just to the inside. They often swell a bit when you are sick with the flu but are normally soft and squishy. I read a Harvard study, a few years back that said that cannabis smoking will not cause cancer and is a very good treatment for curing lung cancer so I wouldn't worry too much if you've never smoked tobacco. The doctor also asked if I had a fever without being sick, or if I had night sweats. I feel fine. I'll get the test results next week and will know for sure then. Fingers crossed. You can make your own co2 by making a blue flame. The best way is to get one of those small single burners camping stoves that burn propane from a small bottle. I read about it 20 years ago, where the grow ops that were getting busted were burning a large propane barbeque for the blue flame. Because I vent constantly and am cheap I tried the kerosene lamp I had and turned the flame down to get as much blue flame as possible and still keep it lite. Yes the yellow flame creates some carbon monoxide and I can smell it sometimes usually when the plants are small but it's the cheapest way I found to generate a good amount of co2 that the plants will use. CAUTION if it is knocked over it can burn down the house. So if you have pets or small children or are not the only one who goes into the grow area, you need to secure the flame where it can not be knocked over. I found a large colander (for steaming vegetables) that I put my lamp in so it will take a bit of a knock without being knocked over. Please use extra caution when using an open flame in a enclosed area. Hope that answers your questions. Chuck.

Looks rad hey, i mean, it has a bit of foxtailing, but it's really good, like long, upright, though bulky heads. Shit, that might only be maturing in like 1-2 weeks. Nice one.

Are you sure you need all those nutrients which are designed for latter plant stages? Also your choice of using a bucket approach means you need to flush the waste out of the bucket with fresh water before you add anything new to it, otherwise you will miss diagnose the nutrient lockout as a calcium deficiency or some other bullshit symptom - when its because you cant keep you pH between 5.3 and 5.9...anything above 6 at this stage is just bad advice. BTW I have grown Purple Paralysis about 30 times and average constantly 20+ ounces (dry weight of BUD) per plant...without using 80% of what you have listed above. I usually don't comment and let the bullshit advise slide - but Purple is a great plant and will pay you massive dividends if you treat it properly. Whatever you do, ignore the bad advice about the color of the hairs...purple is ready when it has "layered" about 3 times (it puts on massive weight in the last 3 weeks of a typical 8 week head cycle...which doesnt count the transition period while waiting for it to change into flower)...and if your growing it in a cold climate or during winter it WILL turn a dark purple in color if the you have the nutrient/pH balance right.

@@En4nicaTOR, Did you just come hear to brag. Or are you the savior of the Purple Paralysis strain What do you care what I do and how I do it. I didn't have a grow question so I don't know what you are going on about the calcium deficiency or some other bullshit symptom. I've read the same books you've read and I've got my own way of doing things. Did you even read any of my comments Or you just spouting off. Just want to end by saying F.U. you online TROLL
