Haven't been able to get on here much due to covid and work. But shit that's not stopping us. So this week's update all 5 plants have been topped, lollipoped, and defoliated. I've been slowly upping nutrients weekly and been giving them club soda and they're loving it. They're still stretching and getting bigger everyday. The smell well not really, not yet anyway. Gonna do one more defoliation in a couple weeks. But besides that's taking it day by day.
This week they really stretched about 12 to 13 inches to be exact. I defoliated and lollipoped a bit more. I watered an extra half gallon of water to filter out the medium a bit to avoid nutrient burn as a precaution. The girls responded very well. Loads of bud sites and it's ass packed in the grow space. Wishing in the back of my mind I should of used a trellis net, but I guess we'll see what happens. Looking forward to big colas and buds. Thanks for stopping by. This week the plants continued to stretch and bud development continues. Trichome production is getting heavy already. Plants are going strong 💪. No deficiencies or nute burn of any kind. Not much else to report for this week.
This week the buds got bigger and are getting fatter and putting on weight. Lots of trichome production and some of the buds have hints of purple. The phenotype of these girls are chunky buds rather then producing colas. I didn't expect that, but gonna enjoy it non the less. Seeing a cal mag deficiency. So I'm working on that to straighten it out.
This week the buds really started to swell and gain a lot more weight. Also there are purples and other colors starting to show probably due to cooler temperatures in the lower 60s at night. The smell is also strong, really strong. Loaded with trichomes all over. Looks like they were dipped in sugar lol. They are dense too. Looking forward to the last few weeks to come.
This past week we have started the flushing process. Buds are putting on more and more weight everyday along with swelling and getting fatter too. The smell is very strong and the leaves are changing colors some red, yellow and purple. Trichomes are at there peak all milky right now. I plan on harvesting next week.
Everything went well. I was just not expecting chunky buds. I thought I was going to grow colas. Not that I'm complaining. Just an unexpected surprise.
The overall grow went great. I veged until 18 inches tall. Then flipped the girls into flower. Really noticed a ton of stretch 2.5 weeks in. Focused on lollipopping, defoliation, and topping. Didnt really notice and issues till fourth week then saw a mag deficiency. Fixed that in a matter of a week. Buds size began later then I've seen in other strains I've done. Packed a lot of weight and swelling half way through week 5. This is my frostiest grow to date. Just a shit ton of trichomes and a really good smell. I also turned night temps down to 60F. For a little color change. Saw purples, reds, orange, and yellow. It was really pretty. Other than that I didn't see any negative defects from lowering temps. Overall I was expressed. After drying for 7 days everything was my desired dryness. Curing in jars now. No further issues.
