Ah shit, here we go again #2
Yet another grow on the way, this time I'll be using dry amendments from Living Soils as nutrition.
Supposedly both Mokum and Durban are XL yielders - I hope this time I'll get easily more than 100g :)
Lezgooooo
Another week of veg.
I should transplant the girls any day, but I'm still waiting for dry amendments I ordered almost a month ago (thx Brexit).
Hope they arrive soon, I don't want to stress the plants too much at this stage :/
Still keeping the lamp pretty high to make the ladies stretch a little more.
Still waiting for dry amendmends - been more than 1 month since I've ordered them.
No sign of nutrient deficiencies yet though :)
Another week of vegetation, still going on plain water and nutrients from the soil.
Luckily I'll finally get the amendments this week, so the ladies will be very happy soon :)
I started doing some light LST to spread out the branches a little.
FINALLY!
The dry amendments have arrived after 2 months of waiting for UPS.
The results will be probably visible within 1-2 days of application, I'll start on 08.03
Another week of growth, the plants kinda get droopy 3-4 days after watering, maybe every 5 days isn't enough.
The slow releasing dry amendments are slowly setting in, can't wait for flower :)
Let's go!
I added the trialis net in order to do some Scrogging when the plants grow a little more.
This time I won't be spreading them as much as I did in the previous run.
I think it led to too many side branches, especially from Bluebery (like 40-50).
Second week of flowering, the plants are stretching nicely.
First hairs are showing around future buds :)
I let them grow a little more before pulling through the trialis net.
This time I won't spread out the branches as much as in the previous run - this created way too many little side branches.
Week 3 of flower - so far so good.
Mokum's tops are already getting frosty and noticeably fatter than Poison's.
Not much of a stretch from both plants - moved the LED closer only recently.
Normally I would defoliate the plants hard at the end of week 3, but I tend to overdo it.
This time we'll see how it goes with selective plucking and nothing too major.
Another week of flower provided some troubles for Durban as well.
No idea if it was due to pollen sacs appearing in Mokum, but I noticed a 3-4 bananas out of Durban's tops.
They shouldn't appear at this stage of flowering yet, which worries me a bit - nobody wants to discover their buds are full of seeds.
I'll be keeping a close eye on these until harvest.
3 weeks to go!
Last portion of the amandments on 17.05 and from now until harvest flushing the shit out of them ;)
The tops are rather long and smell delicious.
Trichomes are still mostly opaque so within 2 weeks they should hit the sweet spot.
Durban seems to already take up the nutrients from older leaves within 2 weeks she should be very colorful.
Last week of flushing, harvest next week!
I borrowed Flawless Finish from a friend to flawlessly finish the grow - hope it helps with any leftover nutrients.
I'm very happy with the yield from the plant, though a little bit of it is seeds. Mokum was a hermie due to stress I put on her, which affected Durban as well - I noticed some bananas during flowering. The amount of seeds isn't as bad as in Mokum, so we good 😉 The effects are wondifferous - it makes you focused, very cerebral and positive. It's a pretty light smoke, makes you feel better without ANY stoning - haven't come across weed like this ever!. You can clearly tell it's a pure sativa. Amazing strain for daytime!
Very good yield for my standards - 51g. Considering I started with 17 grams per plant, it's a big jump 😊 Let's see what this grow box is capable of next time!
