Another week of Veg gone and trying to understand feeding.... My last grow (the one on the balcony) i overwatered at the start so I made sure this time I would not make the same mistake. I dgave a bit more root booster and found some organic Molasses that i added to the 1st feeding. I know its now considered 'food' but more as an activator of microbes in the earth but I'm sure it can't hurt right?
Quite some growth this week, so tried to LST it down a bit... Buuuuut I'm not happy with it, I can forsee spacing problems (should have maybe planted the seeds off-set to one side of the pot to get a better growth going....I'll probably undo the tie-down and just let it grow.
The purple is actually calmag deficiency, and that causes the burn spots in the leaves and the purple on leaves and stems, which isn’t good. You want green for photosynthesis, where a lot of people think purple is really cool, it should be strain specific. It could be due to lack of the nutrients or ph in the soil, calmag is best absorbed 6.2-7.0 from my understanding :) I hope this helps on the next run! :)
@Sti_Cazz, oh I totally understand that lol I thought I was going to kill a plant with as much as I use. If you have a 1-0-0 it’s a lot easier to use, and you can foliar feed as well. The other thing to check would be the ph of your runoff :) thanks for even giving me a thought lol :)
I had curling leaves once . Mine were curling because they had too much air flow. With the fan hitting them directly for weeks it made the leaves think the air is to dry so as a self defense they curl up to help protect the leaf to keep in moisture. So now I do not point fans at the plants directly. I put them on low and aim at the ceiling of the enclosure. Maybe this will work for you too, just a suggestion because it took me a good min to figure out why my leaves where curling and also yellowing to early.
@DRO420, I'm not sure what the reason is.. I have a nice 3 speed ground fan and allways have it on low blowing from below... Il try directing completely away. Outtake fan on lowest too... Smell lower this way I found, thanx for the tip!
