Well this is a test grow, I will Grow two white widow fem and one ww auto from Seedsman.
For now I have a chair and a basic cfl light above the plants. Today is day one and the seeds germinated with the water glass mathod, 20hr in, then directly to soil, no tail visible by the time I planted but 48 hours later(24 in the dark +24 under cfl) they came out.... 😜
I already ordered the flowering lights, a mars hydro 96, but till they arrive I have to make this plants survive... don't mind the yeld size for now.
Soil is a mix of coco powder with peat moss, perliculite vermiculite and humus, no ph meter as it arrives in a month w the foxfarm ferts.
My goal is to figure out the limitations, and tryout a bit, with time put together a property grow space.
Had a damping down problem due to root fungus, manage the problem with air circulation, cinnamon powder in the top of the soil and water with hydrogen peroxide. They miraculously recovered after 7 days.
Finally move the plants to a better place, clean and organized.
Got a proper reflector and a 250w cfl, at 2700k - 17 000 lumens and have other 59w bulb in a dark spot to cover.
Lights are a palm closes to the plants, and just started using fox farm nutrients in this week, not PH ing the water yet.
This week started bad , had an issue with a pre mixed neem oil solution, I used mainly because of some little insects here and there, became afraid to get fungus gnats, the neem application with the lights off and lightly applied resulted in some serious damage to the plants, the leafs burned a lot, in a magnesium deficiency like apereance...
I had to extract some of the leafs, two days later they started to grow again, after a good feeding.
The auto flower one didn't autoflower, can be because off the inicial stress but no idea why, just hope the sex to be ok, the auto is not trained at all.
One of the photos was topped and it woked well, you can notice two tops on the side of the removed part and the lower part produced similar appearance branches trying to reach.
The other photo was FIM ed, that didn't work, I think, the main cola seamed to continue growing after a day or two, so I topped that too today.

Very chilled week, finally no problems, and the plants look healthy!
Some leaves have missing spots, looks like some bug eat it but can't find any around... Have switched last Sunday to 12/12 light schedule, and the plants are growing with vigor, you can see the flowers starting to form, I guess, all of them are female and showed some pistils on the branches.
Hope it gets ready soon! Can't wait!
Nice and smooth, huge battle, got almost rid of gnats, and everything is under control.
Leafs look mid green and no deficiencies or nutrient burn is showing for now.
The auto is producing many pistils and one of the photos is starting now, the other photo is a bit behind.
...Soil feels more dry quickly than before so they are drinking more... Though is hard to tell how often to water, need to learn how to dose on point.

Up and running, everything smooth, growing a lot.
The lesson I got is that my space is just too small for 3 plants in 5 gal smart pots... will update the space soon and invest in a LED.
Started giving some TOP CANDY from Topcrop fertilizers, smells sweet as molasses...
Now growth in height stoped but the flowers are gaining weight and becoming wider.
The auto is in a bad spot and receiving less hours of light that it should, so a bit of a disaster, is looking so so, with skini small flowers...
Will do some rqs northern lights auto next time to feel how a real auto behave!

I notice one of the photoperiod plants is growing very differently, stems are purple could be stress related but i'm not sure, and the flowers are more white and vibrant, is taking longer to mature, and pistils to become amber, in addition to that i'm suspecting it is becoming a hermaphrodite, made some detail pics if anyone has experience with that, i would appreciate the opinion! Strong genetic, i grew 3 plants, 2 were photoperiod, learned a lot and now i'm ready for the next one! :)
The auto is down and gave very little harvest, i new since it got less light that it should, but it was an experiment. It gave off around 61g wet buds with stems, one of the Photos came down too, the total wet weight is 191g wet with stem pieces all together, lets see the total with the other photo when i harvest, and then a dry final weight, as well as how it smokes and ect...

40 grams bud dry without the main stems.
Growing the with plant was nice, passed true a lot of problems, since i started with a very basic setup, and no knowledge. The conclusion is that is possible to use a 250W big cfl with a reflector and obtain some results, this results are limited and not comparable to robust LEDs and HPSs. Using this platform was very pleasant and had the help of more experience growers, i thank everyone that took the time to look at my first diary and also helped me! As described on the previews post, this is the remaining plant, the buds are bigger then the others, 3 of them are massive, and lots of smaller ones along the stems.
This plant was more defoliated in the las week of veg, it certainly payed off some how. Genetics should be the same but the plants looked very distinct in all matters, it was a free gift from Seedsman, and it came in to ziplock bags, so you are never certain... In the end of the week or in max another week it will be harvest time again. 😀
As discribed in the previous harvest post, this was the last plant to harvest, ironically the strongest plant had a dumping off in the beginning, this one will be weight when dry only, expecting 30 to 35g dry bud.
Smoke is really pleasant starts more euphoric and ends with a relaxing feeling. Tast is strong without curing, a bit harsh, and 🌶️ , will sample more as it cure.

Quick update on the smoke, effects strangely vary from plant to plant.
Overall is a mix, starts as a cerebral one then it spread to the body, it is very narcotic for me depending on the dosage I do.... It is strong, if I smoke a full joint it gets very intense. Enjoy if you choose this strain.
----DEFINITIVE SMOKE UPDATE----
Ok, so is around 3 weeks curing, and i''m smoking along the process.
The best of the phenos to smoke was the photoperiode 2 plant, this plant was left to dry slower, resulting in a more pleasent smoke, harshness is 6.5/10, so after a couple puffs you fell it in the throat.
Tast is good 7.5/10, there is room to improve, smell is very very pungent, there is no way to smoke and pass unseen, in the vape it tast more pine, grass, floral like take. To roll it feels like clay, resin is off the charts, its glu!
The effects, got stronger yet, once you get used to the powerfull buzz is very good, two - tree puffs and good by... It knock''s out fast, for me is not a strain to go out and socialise, more something to enjoy in a free time, in theory is a sativa dominant hybrid, but to be honest the effect is very much body oriented to me, I feel a well been an so heavy there is no way to stand up. Too much at once and I assure you, it will put you on the floor.
Is a versatile an pleasant smoke i definitely recommend trying this strain. There is room to improve my results in all directions but I''m happy with the result! 👊😀

After curing the buds, potency whent up, depending on the bud potency also varies, and is strong two puffs is more than enought for me. Taste improved 200% and smell also changed a lot and is more singular some how. Then the joint is on is like an delicious insence like scent, is strong and pungent also so is very delectable, outdoor smoking is advisable in a discreat place, oase the doors behind becaus it invades places like barbicue does 😂! I must do a comment update after a couple of months in cure.
This is the fkng strongest weed i ever tried, to the point as one hit already makes me feel ridiculously high, some more and knockout, is like loosing your body or something, lol. It escalates, and then climb down like a pyramid. But if you raise the dose too much and the side effects show strong, and is unpleasant. Can't enjoy too much as i need so little... All the buds are like this, but the main cola is another level even more potency... There is just no way to smoke and do anything besides vegetate, don t event think do operate some machinery, drive or work.

@tomspain, hey bro! Is very effective, but it is strong if you go hard. Big bloom is very nice and easy to use and organic, though the base is the trio, the danger is in tiger bloom and grow big if you over do it. Compared to general use nutes FF is another world and provides good results with minimal deficiencies and simple to figure. Will try AN next run. Cheers all the best! 👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah this is an awesome site, easy to use, easy to search and the best thing is you are probably not the only one growing a specific strain from a specific company. So having photos available at different stages of the grow is very practical and take a lot of guess work out. Please keep up, would like to compare notes on final product, after all the drying and curing. Would like to see how that effects the aroma, taste and effect of the medicine.
Awesome Diary man. I am also giving my cherry to Seedman's Free White Widow Seeds. Since they were free I didn't expect that I would keep them for so long. I think their strand is strong, because I neglected the hell out of them in week 1, 3, 5 and 8. I Germinated and sprouted 5/6 seeds and they were left with no water for a week and 4 survived. They looked really sick after week 3 but bounced back in week 4. And finally at week 8, I left them with some old lady to just water for two weeks. And they are stronger than ever. Please check out my diary and we can compare notes. I am really bad at keeping a good diary on-line. I mean I have a ton of photos and I also keep a written journal. I will try to fix and edit it when I am done. Happy Grow.

@@shadowman, Thanks a lot! In the space i'm using i cant aford heat, and led are just availiable for import, so for now i'm using a 250w CFL 2700K for flowering, and a smaller one(70w or so), penetration is not that good so the lamp have to sit very cloase. All the best, happy growing!
