Disaster management big time since last week. Went from the old Wills Blurple to a SF-1000. Plant was starting to get rubbery right before I got the SF. Had to top it and it was recovering nice but I noticed that I was burning a couple leaves because there’s very little room in this tent.
I started some LST and was putting in a hand made trellis to Scrog and broke a couple branches. Lessons learned.
I finally got a 48x24x60 and the extra space makes it so much easier to work on my plant. (Nfsot) the flowers are pretty dense but not huge. I’m sure the inadequacy of previous lighting and then the space constraints have a lot to it.
This week was easy. The larger tent and better lighting really make a difference. Buds are noticeably fattening up very dense buds, and popcorns only see a couple larfs on bottom most branches.
Wow this week has been a super bulking week. Buds are huge and dense when you squeeze between thumb and forefinger there’s no give at all. Very sticky lives up to the GG name. Smell is very strong earthy and almost a diesel undertone.
Yep, sure is normal.
What is happening is that your plant is reusing elements from those leaves, such as carbs, sugars, amino acids etc, for it is more efficient to do so, rather than making these elements from new during flowering.
This is also why it is so important not to defoliate your pants.
Plus the reduction in energy production that is also caused by defoliation.

More bulking this week no amber in the trichomes yet but there’s many milky area. Some leaves were yellowing out so I cut them off. Looks like maybe one to two more weeks? Possibly.
Stopping feeding the incredible bulk every day and going to water, water, feed schedule until I see amber then nothing but water to finish.
Day 82 approximately one week give or take till harvest. Still not seeing much amber but I guess it’ll start soon. This is only my second ever grow so I’m still learning as I go. Buds are dense and sticky.
Judging from the photos this plant is past time to harvest so in this case waiting may bring you some amber trichomes but that also could risk THC levels, so this plant not saying the strain just may not go amber.
This was only my second ever grow. I found this very easy to grow, I fed it incredible bulk throughout and have some very big and dense buds. It seemed like this one was not going to get too much amber and it really didn’t. So I decided to harvest being close to 90 days and all.
Considering this is only week 6, your getting some beautiful flowers forming 👌
