My very first time growing. Anything. Got 2 of each strains going. Started from clone. These were pictures during the first week I had them. 4x4 tent with a 6" exhaust with carbon filter. Both bottom passive air intakes open. Will close vents and use a 4" intake fan with a couple 90deg ducts during flower. I tested this and it sucks in quite a bit which is going to cost me a bit of space. I also have a tower fan, humidifier, clip fans, heater, and camera to spy on them.

I lost one of the J1s due to my roughness during lst. Pulled the root out a little so I just tossed it. RIP J1-B. The root in the GG4 that I have in coco/perlite(different feeding schedule than the rest) seems loose so that one may be next. Not sure what happened... The others seem strong.

Week 4 Day 4 - Switched the lights over to 18/6 to get them ready for flower within the next week or 2. The J1 is very spread out which is really nice. The Tahoes are bushy bastards so I have tied the main top down to get some of the other tops growing some more. Was thinking about trimming up the bottom leaves but not sure where to begin so Im gonna give it a few days. Week 4 Day 5 - Ended up trimming them a bit. All untied now. Day 6 - Watered at ph 6.4

Sunday Day 22 of Flower. Just a watering at 6.5ph Tuesday Day 24: Feeding at 1850ppm 6.3ph. Run off was in between 2400-3600 ph 6.0, so I'm going to skip the next feeding, Friday: Watered GG4 ph 6.3. Runoff was 2000 and ph 6.0. The other plants didn’t need to be watered yet Saturday: Watered the rest of the plants. Both Tahoe OGs runoff was around 3600 ph 5.8. I watered them with plain tap water (ppm: 450) ph 6.8. Continued to give them a little extra water and the ph was 6.3, ppm 1800. Will probably give them another plain ph watering when they're thirsty next.

It's nutrient lockout due to to nutrient toxicity. Don't feed more than 700 PPM (you are giving them 3 times this strength) just flush and flush and let the plant consume the excess nutes it has

Why are my buds so small? Gonna be harvesting in the next week or 2 and I thought they’d be bigger. Colas look like mostly sugar leaves :( What did I fuck up so I don’t repeat in the next Grow?

Hi there! Burnt tips and spots onto the leaves show that they suffered from overfeeding. Were you really applying a 4.2 EC during weeks 6-7-8-9-10? Considering you're using LEDs, the distance between the light and plant's summits could have been smaller. Also if you're really watering with 18L everyday, they must have been overwatered more than once. Finally, buds usually fatten during their 2 last weeks, so you still can see them get bigger in the next days. Hope this helps, I'll be around, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!

Well this one turned out the best out of the 4, but still not happy with it. I over fed the shit out of them the whole way through but learned a lot in the process. It's been curing for a few days now and its still dry, so I think I over dried it as well. Hung them for 5 days... It smokes alright but doesn't seem very strong. Overall I'm dissapointed in the end result but it was still fun, and a huge learning experience. Looking forward to future grows!

I just trimmed mine for the 1st time the other day. I was hesitant too but I finally got annoyed and just went for it. They aren't dead so I guess I did ok. Lol

Unfortunately only about 3/4 strength. Wish I would’ve done less than half. Learning experience that’s for sure. Hopefully whatever Buds I do get are smokeable.

First grows are exciting, but scary! Liked and followed! Your canopy is very even, and by your development and leaf health I would say you should expect good yields! Looking forward to seeing how this goes, and your eventual harvest! Let us know if you have any questions =)

@BGrow1983, that's how it has to be done lol. Mine has gone pretty smooth so far so I'm probably gonna make a catastrophic mistake any day now. That's how my world works. I'm having fun though!

@Beans, Yep! I probably read all of the same articles you did. I just said F it. Only one way to learn! I definitely chopped too much, so next time I'll take it a little easier on them.

@BGrow1983, I've been having the same trouble limiting my defoliating. I've read several articles with slightly different approaches and once I get going I feel like they all said to "just do 1 more" lol

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, hahaha 2 for each tent! Plain ph water and an insecticide spray. Right now I have one grow in coco and one in soil so I have different ph in each spray bottle.

It could be the strain. But I also don’t see any nutrients listed. Have you been feeding nutrients? If so, what nutrients are you using?
DudeGrowsWeed
DudeGrowsWeedcommented7 years ago
@BGrow1983,Nutrient burn could also cause stunted growth. How much less than recommended are you feeding?
BGrow1983
BGrow1983commented7 years ago
@DudeGrowsWeed, Yes I started my flush this week so no nutrients anymore. I was using Fox Farm nutrients feeding at less than the rec on the bottles, but still suffered nute burn.

Yes I guess I was growing at 4.2 EC... Never using the label on a bottle again to feed. The suggested PPM from Fox Farm was like 2400. I fed less and still burned them. I think I was over watering in the beginning but quickly fixed it. I was watering each plant about a gallon every 3-4 days - whenever they were light and dry.
