jellybean Now on week 2 and improving. Still slightly wonky but looking ok. I put her out in direct sunlight but it was too intense for her so she’s a bit burnt. Growing her under dual spectrum light used for growing herbs. She’ll move into her permanent home in two weeks time

jellybean Week 4, day1. Moved to autopot. Substrate is a mix of peat, coco and humic. Very typical set up but added an air stone under the clay pellets for added oxygen. Currently on fourth node and 50% light intensity.

jellybean Seems to be liking her new pot and growth from one week to the other has been amazing. Was going with main lining but changed my mind. Depending on how she progresses, I’ll decide later.

jellybean Week 6, day 2. Progressing nicely so far. Had a bit of nutrient burn on the larger fan leaves, possibly because I overdid it with the humic soil. Also did a little defoliation but not seen in the pictures. Decided not to mainline, top or do any HST. Going natural for the first time. I’ll probably switch to 12/12 next week and trim the bottom third

jellybean Week 7, day 2. Switched to 12/12 last week. Did some more defoliation and also a top feed of Big Bloom, molasses and cal mag. Looking healthy so far. Expect to see first signs of flowering next week.

jellybean So, week 1 into flowering. She looks happy and still growing steadily. Did more defoliation over the week. Removed unexposed bud sites, bigger fan leaves and ones that were not looking very healthy. Next week, I’ll top feed again with cal mag, molasses and big bloom and remove more smaller bud sites and fan leaves. I guess we’re in cruise control after that.

jellybean Week 3 of flowering and making good progress. Still defoliating but at a slower pace. Just have a couple more bigger fan leaves to remove. Also removed all smaller and hidden growth. During the week I’ll give it another top feed of molasses, cal-mag and big bloom and lots of tlc

jellybean Week 11 total and week 4 of flowering. Did another top feed of molasses, cal-mag and big bloom and the final defoliation and bud clean up. Smell is getting stronger now and had a peppery smell with a sweet aroma. My humidity increased a little this week, up to 60%. Also noticing purple leaf stems but only on the top half so I’m assuming it’s light exposure, not magnesium deficiency because my main stalk has no purpling on it.

jellybean Week 5 of flowering and it’s doing pretty well. No more defoliation or removal of popcorns. The purpling is still only on the top half of the leaf branches so I doubt it’s mag deficiency.
I can’t get my finger on the aromas because every time I open the tent, I get something different. Today it was toasted hazelnuts, yesterday it was fruit. Either way, I’m happy with the progress.

jellybean Week 6, day 1. Not really much to update. Started winding down nutrients for the final few weeks. I was wrong about the mag deficiency because I did see some purpling on the main stem. I’ll correct it during the week and add the final molasses boost. Smell is very strong now and still quite nutty but gets sweet when you get closer.

jellybean Week 6 of flowering and it’s looking quite good. Fingers crossed it fattens up these last two weeks. Humidity has been a killer this week and I had to turn on the dehumidifier to lower it. Smell is amazing and whereas I was smelling hazelnuts last week, it smells like a candy store this one. Very resinous and also looks like it’s swelling so my hopes are high! No pun intended...

jellybean So, week 13 total and week 8 of flowering. Not doing much really. Will lower nutrients to around 500 soon, for the final week but other than that, looking pretty decent.
