Bloombuster Hey everyone! This is going to be an awesome grow! This strain was even smoked by the Zaporozhian Cossacks in their glorious time! Even animals didn't dare to try this strain while it was growing, they just enjoyed its intoxicating aroma. It's a hybrid of Sativa/Indica/Ruderalis, but the ratio remains a mystery of nature. Germination, as usual, in a zip-lock bag. I placed the seeds in several layers of damp paper towel, put the paper in the bag, exhaled carbon dioxide into the bag, sealed it, and put it in a dark, dry place at room temperature. On the second day, the seeds showed a 2-centimeter root. By the third day, the root was 5 centimeters. The shell was removed from the sprout and it was immediately planted in the substrate. This diary is special not only because of the strain but also because of the new lighting from ViparSpectra https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 use the code when purchasing and get a discount. code: GDVIP I'm glad that many are interested in my diaries! I'll do my best, as usual! Thanks everyone! 👋😄👍

Bloombuster The first week of growth without fertilizers, using acidic water. The pot for the first stage is 0.4 liters, I'll transplant to 10 liters next week. The lamp is set to 5% power, at a distance of 100 cm the lux meter shows 2700lux. The lamp is cool, but it's still working at 5%. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 Use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: GDVIP Let's keep going, evolving, even if not too quickly. Bloombuster On the first day of the week, the plant felt unwell. An urgent transplant was made into the main pot sized at 14L, but filled to 12L. And again, trouble - the humidifier broke down, it will be back in operation next week, but for now, I have to endure. The plant is struggling to gain strength, but I'm trying to support it, give it energy, and help it strengthen. The lamp power is at 30%, at plant level it's about 9000lux, and the lamp is cool. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 Use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: GDVIP Thanks to everyone who supports, comments, and rates this report! Bloombuster As you can see, the plant has recovered and is gaining strength. Life has already appeared in the internodes, and the stem has started to noticeably thicken. Humidity is normal, I water every other day as the substrate dries out, watering thoroughly, 1 liter, around the pot, with drip irrigation in two spots. The lamp power is at 30%, at plant level around 9000lux, the lamp is cool. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 When purchasing, use the code and get a discount 😀👌 Code: GDVIP Thanks to everyone who supports, rates, and comments on the diary! Bloombuster A week of active vegetation in the leaf axils. Daily foliar feeding after the lights go off, G.O. Root Plus 3ml/L. Feed 1:1:1. Starting next week, I’ll reduce phosphorus and give more nitrogen and micronutrients. The plant feels great, is developing, and dancing the "hopak." The smell is starting to break through, but it's barely noticeable. The lamp power is at 55%, around 15000 lux at plant level, the lamp is slightly warm. It gives off more heat in the light than in the LED plate. I like its even heat distribution and the thickness of the base. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 Use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 Code: GDVIP Friends, I haven't chosen a training method yet; it will all depend on its further growth and potential. Bloombuster At the beginning of the week, I did some defoliation. Removed 6 developed leaves from the nodes of the main stem. After 4 days, the plant reached 30 centimeters in height, and I performed a supercrop HST with preparation, massaging the break point, and as you can see from the photo - the operation was very successful. All parts of the stem remained intact, no cracks formed since the walls were prepared. 😉👌 The girl smells strongly of skunk and cat pee. The first signs of pre-flowering have appeared, and the plant showed its sex in the nodes of the main stem's leaves. 😄👆 I bent it at the level between the third and fourth pairs of the first leaves, where the stem became very thick. On the day of the break, I did some stretching of the growing branches with LST. On the same day, I removed another 8 developed leaves from the nodes where branches with their own leaves had already formed. In total: 14 developed leaves removed this week + HST + LST. 💪😄 The lamp power is at 62%, the plant is 100 centimeters tall, 20000 lux, and the lamp is slightly warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 Use the code when purchasing to get a discount. 😁👌 Code: GDVIP The plant is developing rapidly and responds wonderfully to training! But there is one note - the large leaves on the underside (facing the ground) have a stinging nettle effect; it feels quite intense when in contact with the hand. I don't rule out that it has nettle genes as well, as different types of nettles freely grow all over the island of Khortytsia.

Bloombuster In a week, I've removed 16 large developed leaves, in the axils of which branches with their own foliage were formed. Vegetation is going very actively. I continue to direct growth in a horizontal plane. Pre-flowering and stretching of the plant is happening. The very effective supercrop from last week has already formed a callus, and the bend angle has become very stiff. The plant is developing excellently and smells like skunk. When watering, stretching, and coming into contact with the foliage, the girl literally smells like cat pee, a real skunk. I've switched the nutrition to flowering, expecting "white hedgehogs" by next week. I've lowered the lamp closer to the plant. Lamp power is at 62%, 60 centimeters from the plant, 23000lux, the lamp is slightly warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: GDVIP This girl has a very "sticky," "hairy" surface on the leaves, it literally scratches the hands. The foliage is fat with 5 fingers. Often, in the axil of new growth, there are 3 fingers. Thanks for the comments and support, friends! Let's keep pushing! 😁👌

Bloombuster In a week, 12 large leaves have been removed that were blocking light to the young branches. The LST stretching ropes have been taken off. By the beginning of the week, the plant has solidified its geometry at the stretching points and has strengthened in all directions. Stigmas are already visible, and their number is increasing daily at the growth points. Development has already surpassed the middle of pre-flowering. Just two more weeks of stretching and the plant should stop growing. It smells like skunk. Leaves with 7 fingers have appeared, and their quantity is starting to dominate over the number of 5-fingered leaves each day. The plant is responding wonderfully to defoliation and is actively developing. Almost all branches are in a horizontal plane (10 centimeters from the substrate), except for the top of the plant (20 centimeters). It smells quite strong. The lamp power is at 70%, the plant is 60 centimeters tall, 25000lux, and the lamp is slightly warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 Use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: GDVIP Thanks to everyone for the support and interest in this diary! Bloombuster Calm week in terms of training, no defoliation. The crown is quite well-formed, I'm not doing anything with it, I just let it grow, and in the short internode spacing, it's showing its flowers even in places that are hidden from light. Flowers are growing relatively evenly across the area, the smell is "Normal" in intensity, it smells like skunk. Very bushy, with thick, short branches and short internodes of 3-5 centimeters. It grew a little, by 10 centimeters, so I raised the lamp by 10 centimeters. Lamp power is at 70%, from the plant 60 centimeters, 25000lux, the lamp is slightly warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 when purchasing, use the code and get a discount 😀👌 code: GDVIP Thanks for the comments and ratings, friends! Bloombuster This week I worked on the branches in unpromising spots, removing all the excess that could stretch instead of generating flowers. The plant grew 10 centimeters over the week. I checked the tension; the central stem was tightly pulled by the tie, trying to straighten up after releasing all the branches from tension. It's still too early to let go of the stem tie; I'll do that after the vertical growth stops. Another week of "stretching" ahead, but the flowers are already gaining mass quite quickly. After trimming the unpromising branches at the bottom of the plant, I couldn't resist reaching into the thick foliage. It's like nettles; it stings, causes irritation, and until you wash your hand with soap in warm water, the burning doesn't go away. The girl is sticky enough to line up with the already grown girls and compete with them in effect and yield. The smell has changed beyond recognition; now it doesn't smell like a cat or a skunk... the way it smells is impossible to describe with ordinary words... it resembles the scent of a wildflower bouquet. It seems like a mix of scents: thyme, mint, coltsfoot, water plantain, and thistle. The smell is sweet, honey-like, with a slight spicy bitter trail. Externally, the flowers have started to resemble young dandelions, slightly coloring their stigmas yellow. After trimming the underdeveloped spots, I had some tea, brewing a few young flowers and leaves in hot water. A wonderful brew, very beneficial for internal organs, especially for the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. I raised the lamp by 10 centimeters, keeping the distance between the lamp and the top of the plant at 60 centimeters. I slightly increased the lamp's power to 75%, from the plant 60 centimeters, 35000lux, the lamp is slightly warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: GDVIP A wonderful experience, gorgeous growth, and extraordinary genetics gifted by nature! Bloombuster The plant has stopped stretching and has started to bulk up its flowers. Even in those spots where light doesn't reach, large flowers are forming. A dozen red and a couple of low-power infrared LEDs are working wonders. The plant has a strong smell of wild herbs, nothing specific, the scent is very intense, juicy, a mix of fruits and herbs. Over the week, a dozen unpromising internodes at the very bottom of the plant have been removed. For the experiment, one branch has been left in a spot where light doesn't penetrate, only partially reaching through a few reflections. Under normal conditions, this would be an unpromising spot, but the experiment shows that far red confirms its well-known ability to penetrate and saturate the plant. I am very pleased with the growth and intensity. Over the week, the girl has grown 5 centimeters at the growth points. I raised the lamp by 5 centimeters, maintaining a distance between the lamp and the top of the plant of 60 centimeters. The lamp power is at 75%, from the plant 60 centimeters, 35000lux, the lamp is slightly warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: Itxsgdvip Thanks to everyone who follows my report and the flight of my "Critical" plane. Bloombuster A week of mass growth. The plant is quite quickly developing its flowers. At the beginning of the week, a calcium deficiency appeared, and I realized my mistake with the premature reduction of calcium, so I had to make some adjustments and the progress of the deficiency stopped. The reason for this is my desire to achieve a "healthy" result with fewer nitrates in the flowers. I've already gotten the hang of the dosages, and it has become a habit to underfeed. And no one knows this better than you, dear readers, that it's better to underfeed than to overfeed the plant with fertilizers. The colors and hues in the plant are already quite interesting. The plant hasn't received nitrogen for a long time and easily transports it from its leaves. The plant is mutation-free and stable. The smell is very strong, but its mixture is so explosive and rich that I just go crazy trying to pick out any nuances. It's a blend of meadow collection with the freshness of mint and incredible sweetness. In a week, the girl has grown in the growth points by 5 centimeters. I raised the lamp by 5 centimeters, keeping the distance between the lamp and the top of the plant at 60 centimeters. I increased the lamp's power by turning the dimmer to 100%. Lamp power - 100%, from the plant 60 centimeters, 42000lux, the lamp is warm. https://www.viparspectra.com/products/xs-series-xs2000 use the code when purchasing and get a discount 😀👌 code: Itxsgdvip The flowers continue to develop even in the most "dark" places, infrared and far red work wonders! Bloombuster The buds have swollen like the face of Uncle Zhora's asthma after he smokes dried maple leaves. This is critical progress in ripening. It looks promising. Next week we’ll do Ripen and rub our hands in anticipation of the upcoming harvest. But I'm fine with patience and I want to make these flowers with the most critical effect. I want to name it "half a jar" or "smoking lying down" or "ticket to Mars - before Elon." The smell is sweet, fragrant, like meadow flowers. I lowered the lamp by 10 centimeters. Bloombuster The light has been on all week, and the plant has been actively shedding leaves. At the end of the week, I did some defoliation on a few areas, removing a total of 10 large leaves from the middle. Next week, I’ll continue the light stress period for 48 hours and flush the substrate in the dark for 48 hours. The plant smells like eucalyptus and honey sweetness! Such a pleasant aroma! I think the bees would collect amazing nectar from this plant 😄 The lamp power is at 100%, the plant is 50 centimeters away, 55000lux, the lamp is warm, stable temperature, and running without turning off for 168 hours. https://amzn.to/3ttb2j9 Use the code when purchasing to get a discount 😁👌 Code: It10gdvip Thanks for the support and feedback, friends! 👍😁👊

Bloombuster Result: Khortytsia Critical auto yielded 254 grams of dry flowers in an area of 0.36 m2 with 12 liters of substrate. Smell: A mix of herbs, minty, grassy, floral, with a hint of eucalyptus (the "Star" balm, the one from Vietnam). Taste: Minty, sweet, spicy. Curing: 3 weeks. Smell - a mix of herbs, sweet, eucalyptus. Effect: The effect is very strong. It creeps in unnoticed but hits instantly. The first 20 minutes - sativa. The next 4 hours - like a strong indica. The remaining time is some kind of mushroom trip. Trying the smallest flower for the first time, I felt like a "schoolboy," so to speak. Very strong, fast, and overwhelming effect. It's better to consume this in small portions. The effect can be described as "mushroom-like," similar to how a good indica acts, like "chocolate hash." Consumption observations: This can range from 0.1 grams if your tolerance is low to 0.3 grams if you're experienced. You immediately feel heaviness in all limbs. This is definitely an evening strain. You need to be careful with this stuff. 0.3 ~ 0.4 grams can cause slight visual hallucinations. The mushroom effect deeply immerses you into consciousness. Great sleep, good appetite, but in the morning, you're hungry and really want to sleep. In the morning, the effect doesn't wear off; it's quite noticeable, indicating a duration of about 9 hours. Growing comment: In coconut, this strain took up all the available space; it was a root brick! Not picky about feeding, stable, resilient, and amenable to training. Without training, it could have grown over 100+ centimeters tall. Branchy, with thick branches and elongated flowers of medium size, but very dense in structure. Strain comment: A good option to experience what happens to a schoolboy when he smokes good flowers. This is an excellent strain for restoring appetite, sleep, calmness, and contemplation. The feeling of happiness is always present. A wonderful option for commercial growers, high-yielding. Flowering and ripening in 60 days. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was a Ukrainian strain, with Ruderalis genes sourced from Khortytsia Island. The interesting part is that this diary was grown in the same time zone, on the same parallel as Khortytsia Island (in Ukraine on the Dnieper). Those familiar with Ukrainian history know about the Zaporizhian Cossacks and their particular fondness for smoking the right herbs. "Kozak-characteristics" (local fighters with magical abilities) could quickly enter the necessary state of consciousness, into a trance, where they could draw information about upcoming events or magical abilities. Many Cossacks had personal pipes for smoking herbs. The pipe was considered the soul of the Cossack and was invaluable, irreplaceable, and unique for the warrior of these lands. I'm leading to the point that this plant carries the genes of those "right herbs." 😉👌 Thanks to everyone who supported this journey! I strive every time thanks to your support and interest! 👍😁👊

@Polaskis, It is a pity that the prizes from Exotic Seeds were never sent to me and another of my fellow countrymen, who also won at that time, but in a different nomination. it turns out that prizes from Exotic Seeds can only be bought, not earned.

Great luck with the flowering. It's always hard to judge when is the best time to cut out your P-K booster's. Some say week 4 others say week 6 or 7. Also it all comes down to the strain. We all mostly grow hybrids and that's the hardest part. One phenotype of the same strain can both stretch longer and flower longer. Like the two zikkitels i have, But the point is. Is it at all possible to tell when your plants will go into that switch from stretching to filing out. My dream is having a grow where absolutely none of my fan leaves. Have a single yellow tip. I've gotten close this run. What are your tips and also how do you get that nice black background? I used a black sheet , but black really brings out the color In the buds.
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commented5y ago
@michael_2r1, hey, buddy! The stretching of the plant occurs during the pre-flowering period and at the beginning of flowering. Usually, this lasts 3-4 weeks, and the plant stretches to 120-145% of its size from the moment it enters the pre-flowering stage. My experience and application of techniques allow me to achieve a plant with a relatively even canopy. An absolutely black background in the photo can be achieved by using a black background and applying software processing (lightroom, photoshop). Such a perfect black background is impossible to achieve without using software processing.

Bloombuster commented6y ago
@bioaccessory, if you get it, you can feed it according to my scheme. As you can see from the diary, it didn't experience deficiencies, except for sulfur. So you can mix it with a sulfur mineral fertilizer, but also take into account the components of the sulfur feed. The base for pH down also plays a role... for some it's nitric acid, for others it's phosphoric, for some it's vinegar or electrolyte from a battery. The use of one or the other has its consequences when it comes to mineral feeding.

sir_isO commented5y ago
@Bloombuster, For cheap sulphur sources (while also addressing calcium and magnesium), combinations of calcitic lime and epsom salts, or dolomitic lime and gypsum. You should be able to get like a lifetime supply of whatever combination for quite cheap.

Hi Bro... I am pretty interesting in your strain and wonder how she would be.Like you said mystery nature... 😊 ✌️ 😎
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commented5y ago
@Burmese, hi bro! Yes, this girl is fraught with secrets, she has the genes of sativa, indica and ruderalis, but she grows up as an indica. she's effect is similar to hitting the head with a big bag, it will need to be smoked while lying down. Her proto-parents lived in a temperate continental climate, on the island of Khortitsa, on the Dnieper River. In this place, relict trees and medicinal plants grow. Khortytsya Island is famous for its culture and history. In this place my ancestors lived, they guarded our shores and land from the raids of tribes and warring countries. Kozak is a state of mind, a way of thinking, this is what united the heavenly and the earthly in one organism - man.

@bioaccessory, it will swell up and gain +20% over the next 2 weeks. It has already gained +15% this week. Thanks for the comment, bro! Thanks for the support! 👊😁
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commented5y ago
@bioaccessory, the breeder claimed a 9-10 week flowering time, like most Critical strains. I think week 9 will be a flush, but I’ll judge by the trichomes on the buds, leaning more towards stone.

Ceccarelli
Ceccarelli commentedweek 95y ago
Hi, awesome as always. Would you be so kind to share some of your knoweledge and taking a little bit about your ''X leaves'' technique? And maybe defoliation too? Thank, that'd be terrific.
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commented5y ago
@Ceccarelli, thanks! Nice comment! But the x-leaf technique isn't described anywhere in the literature for our case, detailed photos with changes in my diaries. I only do defoliation in extreme cases when the plant is really dense and light doesn't reach the middle of the plant at all. I only remove fully developed leaves that critically block light penetration, the biggest leaves, in the axils of which a branch with its own leaves has already formed. I don't recommend removing leaves from the plant unnecessarily; it will be easier for it with leaves than without them, that's for sure. 😉👌
Afterglow
Afterglow commented5y ago
@Bloombuster, that's for sure... it's easier for the plant with leaves. I once stripped the leaves before harvest, thought everything would be fine, that the buds would get bigger, but in the end, the plant almost died.
AsNoriu
AsNoriu commented5y ago
@Bloombuster, there is plenty ways in defoliation, minimalism in my mind is just fear to do it right. You see my Zamnesia run, a week ago - naked from all fully matured leaves, now its jungles again, but i have 2-3 feet of working bud, all bud got light, will do it again, because there is no other chance to get quality buds from lowest feet. It very depends on when, what and how. There is no one RIGHT way, its only adapting to your current situation with knowledge you collected ... All the best !
Afterglow
Afterglow commentedweek 25y ago
Well, finally... we've been waiting for this.... Everything will be fine. You've been married for a while now!
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commented5y ago
@Afterglow, married, bro 😁✌️ maybe you got unlucky with the seed, or maybe all the breeder's planting material is weak... the only info about the strain says that the pollen from the father was obtained using colloidal silver... I know that the method is effective, but I've also heard that seeds obtained from such pollen lack stability and growth strength.

Afterglow commented5y ago
@Bloombuster, well, in the photo, you can see that it has started to thicken. I hope it does it quickly and starts to please its owner )))
