She has quickly established a great reputation for stunning yields and very strong weed. Even first time growers have achieved over 100g/plant and experienced growers can achieve 200g-300g+. She can grow over 1m tall in experienced hands and is a good alternative to traditional varieties, offering bumper harvests of strong cannabis just 10-11 weeks after seed germination. The genetics come from a special AK47 hybrid known as AK420. auto orange bud thc: 14-16 % pheno: sativa dominat The Dutch Passion master breeder responsible for some of the best modern autoflowering genetics, such as Auto Mazar®️, Auto Ultimate®️ and Auto Daiquiri Lime®️, took extra special care to create Auto Orange Bud®️. A male autoflowering Auto Daiquiri Lime individual was first crossed with the supreme original Orange Bud photoperiod mother plant. He waited until he had enough capacity to make a selection from as many plants as possible, so he could breed the best from the best over 12 subsequent generations. The project took over three years, one of the most complexed autoflowering breeding program so far. The breeder selectively bred those plants with the highest THC levels, the biggest yields, the authentic Orange Bud smell, taste and effect. The result was an autoflowering variety which is as good as the original photoperiod Orange Bud in potency, quality and aroma/taste. 4 seeds out of 4 germinated. End of the first week and quite happy about their performance. let's hope they keep going like that ;)

Dahoola The start of the second week of growth. All plants now receive nutrition. I start with 1/3 of the 'recommended' dose and see how they react to it. I apologize for the quality of the photos. but it is practically impossible to take pictures when the lights are off. I am on a 20/4 schedule Some slight nute burn on one of the think different plants. Other plants are not (yet) showing any nutrient burn. although my nutrient rate is only half the indicated dose, I'm going to give them the next time only water At the end of week 2 fortunately no further nutrient burn. do not think that they have fallen behind. It was only 1 of the 4 ladies who showed signs of starting nutrient burn. Started leaf tucking where possible. I sprayed the plants for the first time with vita race (1x weekly). On to week three!

Dahoola At the start of the 3rd week of growth, The plants are about 9cm in size. Started leaf tucking where possible. I sprayed the plants for the first time with vita race. I plan to do this once a week. In general, pretty satisfied this week. Only the difference in size between the two think different ladies makes me feel a bit worried. They both get the same nutrients, so it seems to me a genetic difference. But in general I can not complain. The plants have seen a nice growth this week. And the first signs of flowering are there. On to an equally good 4th week;)

Dahoola Start of the first week of bloom. The plants are about between 28 and 38 cm in size at the start of this week. I sprayed the plants for the third time with vita race and the plants seem to appreciate this. Temperature and air humidity under control, no noteworthy problems. At the end of the first week of flowering. Tent is pretty full. Many side shoots that all fight for a spot at the top of the foliage. As it looks now, it will be a very beautiful flowering period.

Dahoola Start of the 2nd week of flowering. so far no significant problems. tent is pretty full, hopefully an exuberant bloom the coming week (s) Day 36: Plants for the last time sprays with vitarace. In principle I could do this for an extra week, but rather avoid too much moisture in the flowering phase. Nevertheless, the plants reacted very well to the spraying. Day 37: Growth of the plants has stabilized. There is still a little bit of growth, but the energy is clearly directed to the creation of buds Day 38: plants watered, they drink more and more. All 4 plants have about the same size after their growth has stabilized. Day 39: plants are now all 90 cm in size and are creating lots of buds Day 40: plants watered with nutrients. otherwise nothing special to report Day 41: temperature in tent just not 30 degrees celsius. have been very hot outside for a few days. I placed an extra fan to get some heat away. I have had to water the plants again, because of the heat the plants drink a lot more. Day 42: end of the 2nd week of flowering. plants all have a size of about 100cm.

Dahoola Start of the third week of flowering. Plants are about 100 cm in size and have developed a nice number of buds and shoots. Day 44: The thickening of the buds has started. I have some problems with the heat outside. Due to persistent high temperatures, it has become difficult to keep the temperature below 29 degrees Celsius during the day. Have placed an extra fan, but you can clearly see that 1 of the think different plants is badly affected by the heat. Hopefully some cooler temperatures soon Day 45-50: Have the flowering nutrition scaled up. Still fighting against the heat in the tent. The extra fan has sought some extra cooling. But plants still suffer from the heat.

Dahoola Fourth week of flowering. The whole week was a fight against the heat. Impossible to cool the tent without air conditioning. The extra fans that work at full power have offered some comfort. But not enough, the plants have some problems. Nevertheless, they do pretty well. The bud development at just week four of the flowering is very encouraging. Because of the heat I had to water the plants every day this week. I've added green sensation to their feeding schedule this week.

Grow Questions

Dahoolastarted grow question 7y ago
dear growers, I have a problem with the plants. Apart from the heat stress and some light stress, there is also another problem. Some of the leaves (see last photo) show a shortage. The leaves turn yellow / brown from the outside to the inside. With the veins that remain greenish. Someone an idea what this could be? thank you in advance

Hi there! On the first sight it can look like a Potassium deficiency, but I think it's not. Judging with the infos onto your diary I think your meals are correct and they get enough Potassium. My opinion is that they suffer from light-stress, they're too close to the light and these are also the same symptoms as a P deficiency. Make sure it's not a light stress by increasing the distance and see how it goes. I'll be around, keep us up-to-date so we can help you adjusting your parameters, and happy growing!

Dahoola End of the 5th week flowering. Am pretty satisfied with the progression. The temperatures are stabilized. But one of the think different ladies has suffered a bit. You clearly see a large number of foxtails that have been created. These are the result of the great heat of the past few weeks. Fortunately, the other plants do not have this. They make nice thick buds. It was the last week that they also received flower nutrition. Next week we will start the 2 week flush.

Dahoola The smell that comes to mind when opening the grow room is simply delicious. 80s Skunk, natural orange, a little cedar/wood/furniture polish, slight sweetness. Did I mention SKUNK?! We're in the last two weeks of flowering. the plants only get water until the end. In my area, very high temperatures are forecast in the coming weeks. Hopefully the temperatures will not rise too high because the plants do not tolerate the heat as well (foxtails). I finally had the chance to take some pictures when the lights were off

Week 10. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

I have harvested both TD plants. TD # 1 had a dry weight of 93.8 grams and TD # 2 had a dry weight of 87.3 grams. A total weight for these 2 plants of a good 180gram. They have Beautiful light green nugs covered in a lot of frost. had a slight heat stress issue about halfway through that had an impact on the upper buds of the plants. The scent is Sweet and citrusy ... Almost like honey and lemons. And strong ... These buds reach a room real quick! Tastes exactly how it smells. But in a joint the taste disappears quickly after a few puffs. I suspect a joint isn't the best choice to experience longtime the complete pallet of terpenes. conclusion, a very potent plant that hit pretty hard. Rather a night smoker than a daytime. Smells delicious, but in a joint the taste pallet quickly disappears.

Dahoola First and foremost, everyone thanks for following and the many comments. It really motivated me to fill in this diary as well as possible. Within a few weeks I will start a new round and hopefully you will follow again. Thank you growdiaries community! All in all satisfied with this grow. Just a pity about the heat problems towards the end of the grow. This has definitely had an impact on the bud growth and quality of the buds in the upper regions. Furthermore, not many problems have been noticed during this breeding. Some overfeeding at an early stage, but have not seen any real negative consequences.

Week 10. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

The dry yield from AOB # 1 was 78.3 grams and AOB # 2 64.2 grams (partly due to rot). So a total of 142 grams. The smell that comes to mind when opening the jars is simply delicious. 80s Skunk, natural orange, a little cedar/wood/furniture polish, slight sweetness. Did I mention SKUNK?! plants grow easily and formed quite a few buds. But I have seen a lot of bud rot in the end. Especially in the very thick head tops., It seems to me that this autoflower is not so resistant. I have been growing in the same setup for several years and this is the first time that the rot has struck so hard. Fortunately they were huge plans, so the yield was good. This weed gives me a really nice old school relaxed, skunky, chilled, "you aint gonna piss me off today" kinda high. More "solid" than I was expecting, Maybe less sativa than I was expecting, in a good way ;) Motivational, good vibes, sociable, funny, positive. But also a decent heaviness to the high so I don't feel the need to build a joint every 45 minutes.

Just a pity about the heat problems towards the end of the grow. This has definitely had an impact on the bud growth and quality of the buds in the upper regions. The top rot was also a damper. Fortunately it are plnats that had a lot of yield. Because almost 70 grams of rotten tops have been thrown away. certainly not a difficult to grow plant. Can withstand some nutrients and stress, yields good and tastes delicious. But the susceptibility to rot makes me doubt whether I am going to breed this next round again0

How many yield did you have the other time u grew think different ? Im just curious what 400watt hps could pull of this strain
Dahoola
Dahoola commented7y ago
@Reaper, In my previous grow of 4 think different plants I had a yield of 328 grams. An average of 82 grams per plant. Not everything went perfectly that round, including some problems with the temperature at night and the ph values. So I suspect that in ideal circumstances there is just a little more potential. The goal is to run one gram per watt, of course, but then all conditions must be right.

@neilldagrass, don't worry about your english, mine is just as bad ;) it is the second time that I use the npk nutrients.
