Running Cinderella again. It’s become one of my favorite strains, and the previous iteration was the heaviest yielder in the tent. I soaked the seed overnight in Oregon’s Only Bigfoot, then planted into soil. Sprouted in 2 days.
Transplanted earlier in the week to a 2.5qt pot. I’ve given light nutrients, in addition to Bigfoot, for root stimulation. Eventually I’ll transplant to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag.
I topped her 2 days ago, at the 5th node. I’ll be transplanting later in the week, as I just Watered last night. I’ll be transplanting to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag. No Bigfoot this week, but I’ll include it when I transplant. I’ve increased nutes slightly. 2tsp of Big Bloom and 1tsp of Grow Big.
I transplanted to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag this week, adding some Bigfoot to boost root growth. She’s recovered from topping with no problems. I’ll be applying the SCROG net soon. The leaves on this one are more indica than the last. The fan leaves are bigger and thicker.
I added the SCROG net midway through the week. I’ll be training along it, but might not fill it in as much as last time. I can wait until it’s almost full, then fill in the last squares during the 2 week stretch. I yanked a couple of leaves, but won’t fully lollipop until next week, maybe, as the girls bush out and fill in the pot.
She’s establishing herself nicely. I’ve added one last shot of Bigfoot, to help the roots. I did some defoliating midweek, but I’ll get more serious about it before flower. That will be sometime this week. Until then, I’m just training her along the net.
I flipped to 12/12 on day 45, After a pretty thorough defoliation. She doesn’t lack for bud sites. I’m continuing to train her along the scrog net, while she stretches. Hopefully switching to flower a week and a half earlier will keep her easier to manage, without sacrificing much yield. We’ll see, but I’m not afraid to tweak things a bit, to see what works.
11 days into flower. She’s been stretching a bit. Not much for pistils yet. Midway through next week I’ll go for a final defoliation. She’s got a couple more days before the soil needs more water. I lowered the light to 12 inches above the canopy.
I defoliated this week, in the 3rd week of flower. The stretch should be about over. Pistils and bud sites abound. I increased Tiger Bloom. Now we wait.
Four weeks into flower. About half done. She’s starting to smell sweet, and I can pick out the smell among her sisters. The stretch is over and she’s recovered fully from defoliation. Now we wait.
She smells incredible! Same as last time. She’s starting to bulk up. I’m probably going to harvest this one a week earlier than last time, for more of a rush/energetic high. I’ll start flushing after the next ful week of flower.
This is the final week. I checked trichomes today. THey are about 75% cloudy. I’ll be harvesting by next week. I gave a teaspoon of Cha-Ching. The smell is heavenly! I Had to support a few branches.
This C99 grew just like the first one. But I vegged a week and a half less, and harvested at day 54. I was able to keep her under the lights, and dialed in nutrient levels better. Consequently harvest this time was about the same weight. But the buds are much more dense, And the THC levels feel higher. This was another grapefruit phenotype, but it smells much more strongly of it. The high is amazing. I harvested before many trichomes had turned amber, so the high is strong and comes on with a rush. It is very visually trippy, as I watched my back yard roll gently up and down like a mild ocean.
There is a gentle pressure in the eyes and forehead, and I get pretty chatty. Great for lowering inhibitions.
This is one of my very favorite strains. I’m glad it’s easy to grow. It is the best smelling strain I’ve come across. Short flower time for a trippy sativa. Can’t go wrong.
Holy shit. Just had an early sample I quick dried from last night. I’m already happy with my decision to chop at day 53. It was intense. And it was just a lower bud. . I can’t wait until it has a chance to properly dry and cure.
Nice! Excited to see which pheno you got: pineapple or grapefruit. Mine looks a bit different. Leaf fingers are super slim plus it’s preflowering like mad.
@TheFairyBudMother, Someday I would like to try out the Brothers Grimm original version.
But I need more space if I’m going to be growing regs. When I get my med card, I’ll be able to have 6 flowering and another 12 in veg. That’ll be nice.
@Wilstang, There’s a local dispensary that always has it in stock, and sells clones. But i have a friend that worked there, and the owner is shady. I haven’t bitten the bullet and ordered a pack. It’s usually around 100 bucks for 6 seeds.
@Tazard, I’m at the gym, enjoying one anti-grump before the other one. Haha. It takes a Herculean effort on the part of endorphins, CBD, and THC to take this grump train off the tracks.
Lol
@Stinkfox, Ah I’m gonna have to sell most of this harvest to make up the cost of all the expensive shit I bought. Thankfully I don’t have too many friends so I don’t have to worry about giving it away :P
@LumberjackBuds, I grow for my own use, which doesn’t require too much. More as I get older and more broken down. Lol. So I give freely to friends. A few have also started growing now. Just trying to spread the good word.
@ChefGreenThumbGardenofWeedin,
I love weed. Not just for its effects, but all the cool information and variables. I’ve read that trichomes that are cloudy, but with some that are still clear, you get more of a racy, rush of a high. Fully cloudy is the most potent. When you get cloudy, with 1/4 amber, it’s more of a couch lock feel.
It won’t completely change the high of, say a heavy, knock you on your ass indica. But it might not put you to sleep as fast. Then again, an extra week or two in flower can increase bud size considerably.
Hi, I am also going to grow C99 too, I see you liked this strain, please tell me how many phenotypes you got and which one you liked the most. Thank u very much))
@Nebula420, I only got the grapefruit phenotype. But I only grew it twice. I gave my other two seedlings to a friend as a Xmas present. Not sure if he got the elusive pineapple. 😄
@DeathEvil, I’m positive it’ll be wonderful! Mine is much better than last time. I got her growth behavior down now for indoor growing. Your outdoor girl is going to really be able to do her thing.
@WellBurned, Thanks! I have high hopes. I seem to have found the appropriate veg time to keep everything completely under the lights. This one is frostier than the last. And it’s only the end of week 6. Just as well, as I intend to harvest a week earlier than last time. 😄
