Rabidreject To be honest, i am not enjoying having to sort out the ph of my water to 5.8-6.2. I much prefferred it in soil where i can just let the microbes buffer the ph for me (i never bothered to even use my ph pen when growing in soil, as long as you use microbes and micorhyzae)
I have a lot of things i am trying out in this grow as you can probably see, so if this diary dissapears, like the multiple others that have died before these!
UPDATE - SATURDAY
I had my Mars Hydro TS 600 delivered today, however i wont be able to use it to fill half my tent until i visit my flat again in a few days. Still, im glad i bought it if the claims made on their website, in terms of numbers are true.

My PH pen died and i dont have £60 to get a proper one at the moment so im trying to use microbes to buffer it down naturally.

just some stills from my thermostat - iv been a little under active with stills from my photo as i have a lot of diaries to juggle that are open. I'm sick of ph'ing water down to 5.8 from like 7.5 so im trying to get the microbes to do it for me and will be switching back to soil for sure soon.
Also I got paid today so I ordered an RVK 100mm in-line fan that I am going to plus into the cooling plug of the thermostat causing it to suck in cool air from elsewhere in the flat when the cooling kicks in.
Won’t work in summer but I’ll get a small cooler for then and plonk the duct into it

It’s been ok. The reason I have stopped filling out the amount of water I’m giving them is because they don’t get watered daily. I water them once every three or four days depending on other things going on.
With soil having a how much water per 24h is pointless because the whole point of soil is to dry out slowly and if you want a big plant you end up in a HUGE pot which takes like a week or more to dry out!
The amount I water is the amount of water in the bottom of the reservoir + 1/3 more.

Don’t quite know where I’m going to let it spread out yet but iv a feeling I’ll get my old grow cabinet again.
I have everything I need to do that.

All good this week. The plant got its own cabinet to flower in. Very lucky lady indeed. I may need a bigger bucket but I dunno. We shall see shalnt we.
Wrapped some micropore tape around the stem where the four main lines comes out as I was a little scared I ripped it a bit when tying down aggressively.
I mean it’s been a while since and the plant is still growing equally I just thought for future strength why not.
This should be a beast by the time I come to flower it. I’m going to veg it a while longer and fill the space first though and just keep tying down anything that creeps above the canopy height.
Probably do another two to three weeks more veg and toppings first.

Rabidreject Starting to fit into its new environment now - training to the outer runoff holder box. The problem is I forgot I then wouldn't easily be able to empty the run-off. I solved it by drilling a hole and I can just tilt the outer box to let it drain into whatever. I think. Snapped or split the stem where I was trying down one of the main Lines at some point! I wrapped and microfiber tape around it and none of the mainlines are dying So that's a god sign.
Just noticed by looking at the photos, she is going a little yellow so I I'll increase the N slightly.

All is good with the ayahuasca purple tbh, not that much to report. She is stretching and pistols are starting to one out of everywhere. Also there is more of a crown on the 8 main lines as well as all these lateral branches shooting up producing bud. Pretty crazy. This is gonna make for a crazy skeleton once harvested as in places it’s jut like snapped at right angles and just got on with it and other places it’s wrapped around the scrog net like a vine does.
Pretty cool! I’m just letting her go for it now really. Oh I added a mini fan tower that oscillates which is cool.

Week has been ok but I've not been there as much so it'll be nice to see them today. It looked gorgeous last time there are so many bud sticks popping up from the curly FAT main lines .
UPDATE - TUESDAY 18th May
All has been going well as you can see from the photos. The only problem is that I have two TOTALLY different Spectrum lights in there so I have to keep switching them over to even the plant out!
I’m trying to come up with a better solution but I don’t know if I will be able to afford my cabling, adaptors and all the little bits I need to build my 10 light COB.

There's been some odd developments. The top of the colas are looking weird. They look like they are re vegging on one side but that's impossible as they are both plugged into my timer. Its more likely the fact that one is 6000k and one is 3500k. Just look at the pics they look funky, unless its a genetics thing? I dunno , odd.
It could possibly be aPH problem but I dunno. I refilled my reservoir that I get my ph'd water from. I don't think its that though. Its stupidly oily and obviously has loads of trich's and terps all over the leaves but there's weirdness happening with the tips of the plants?
Maybe for one feed I got mixed up, I dunno iv flushed it an then gave it it's correct nute dosage.
I'd have to look to see if the notes I've said I'm feeding at the moment is completely correct. I'll have

I have these wierd looking tips coming from the crowns on the bud sites. It could well be a light leak problem so its getting a small amount of light when it's meant to be off. Will check. All I know is their tops had started to flower and you can see particularly in week 11-12

Took me a while to see what your on about. Its right at the top of the plants looking like the lower part is in bloom but your getting new looking growth right at the top. That's a strange one. Is it in complete darkness for 12hrs no light leaks or anything in there that has a small led that's on when it's lights off.

Didn’t really mature properly so I only got two smokable buds really they just happen to be really long. Just not dense at all. Anyway, obviously they aren’t even nearly cured yet so yeah.

Rabidreject Unfortunately the growbix wasn’t light proof so it kind of went tits up.
I managed to train it beautifully but the flowering just messed up. Oh well I have two big tubs like the one in the picture I uploaded full and two long capable buds so it’s all good.
And iv freed up some equipment so not all bad…
Also, the hash I made from the ayahuasca is simply devine. Tastes amazing, when the dried and cured flower smelled like hay. Crazy but true!

@Ferenc, here’s my friend. Amazing what you can get from an 11litre hempy bucket. I don’t even feed everyday, I will feed it daily when I’m here but when I leave them (maximum 3 days) I replace any of the water at the bottom of the pots and they just seem happy. They never seem to dry out on me coz they constantly wick up the res at the bottom with the coco and willys worm castings (local guy). I’m real proud of her tbh. I really hope my harvest is worth the amount of training / time spent vegging as that’s why I started on autos for a bit. It got confusing with multiple tents!

@HirdoWeirdo, to be honest, it looks nicer than it is. Light leaks meant it started re-vegging halfway through flower! Oh well smells amazing and it never hurts to have two big boxes of cooking weed knocking about! I think I probably got three or four vapable buds. Mind you, my jars are the biggest canning jars they do and they need to be cut in half to fit in. Also I have 23 more plants to harvest in the coming days and weeks

@Rabidreject, never had the problem of re-vegging cause I grow photoperiodic only outdoor (next week will be first time I’ll try a photoperiodic with controlled system) and autos, but I can feel that sensation. However you still have a lot of work to do, 23 girls are not few! (I’m a bit jealous, I have to wait another 4weeks for the next harvest.. and I have only 7 girls right now!) ❤️

@@@MrRaid, cheers bro. I was just looking at your bonsai cannabis plant. Iv been really wanting to do one recently. Very interesting the strain you chose to do it with. I use ghe 3 part and the micro is 5.0.0 so I could raise nitrogen pretty easily. Iv pretty much switched to autos now though, I fin I get a more consistent amount of bud to smoke although I do have barneys ayahuasca purple going atm but that’ll probably be my last photo for a while. Unless I do a bonzai obv

Kief/hashish is amazing.!
Don't you find it crazy how the biomass was just harvested and totally uncared for because it started re-vegging half-way through flowering because of light leaks.
So I was just occasionally using it for edibles then when I wanted but it tasted HORRIBLE to vape.
Anyway.....I buy some dry ice pellets and use my 72 micron bag and once accidentally my 23ug bags to shake out all the kief onto my mirror and then scraped it into different ppiles and marked where the piles were for the different strains etc as I had a loadmof kief aswell. It was all frozen anyway.
I simply used some electrical gloves to put a couple of handfuls of the pellets into the bag and then chucked in the buds. I didn't break up the buds coz the dry ice tur s it to dust but j did take out ALL the stems.
Anyway, I then brought a kief press from the Internet and then pressed it into what you see. That is the very end of one of the strains. I had probably 10x that amount before I started smoking it and they are all mainly the same colour so j didn't see the point in putting loads of pictures of the same thing up though. Next time, I'm going to dry and film it at a super high frame rate and then slow it down coz it looks like it's snowing hash and co2.
