overfield The first week is the hardest, low temperatures don't help, you have to let a good root system develop and not overwater, the photos correspond to and will correspond with each day I water, in the table I put the daily weekly average of how much I've watered them.
The light is 400 W with both light spectrums on, for growth I only turn on the blue spectrum.
The watering on the first day was only with rooting solution. On the second day, I left the EC at 0.6 ms/cm.

overfield This time I left the plants without watering for 6 days, and although it showed that it took a while to dry out and a couple of days they were slow, you can tell that they have developed good roots for the most part.
Great progress, they are all shooting up like crazy, almost all of them are well-rooted except for one or two that are very slow. As for EC, I've given them all the same, the only thing that changes is the amount of watering, which is now very personalized.

overfield Day 14 - This time I left the plants without watering for 4 days, the coco is drying out in some more than others, but there will come a point where they all start eating every other day and the amounts of watering will also gradually increase. Hopefully, I can give them all the same and avoid what happened today.
Day 18 - 4 days without watering but this time the coco was really dry, I didn't give them much because I used what was left over from the last time I prepared it. Next time I'll add coco booster to the watering mix.

overfield Day 27, the last or second to last day of the vegetative stage, now with its red and blue spectrum on, the temperatures have risen to a much more optimal point than before.
Last night I watered them, and right now I just finished cleaning up the lower shoots that aren't going to go anywhere. Honestly, I removed quite a bit of junk; I might have even gone overboard taking off some leaves, but what's done is done, there's no turning back xD
If not today, then tomorrow, but they are going to be switched to flowering, maybe tomorrow so they can recover a bit from the mutilation.
I don't know if I should put up one of those nets for guiding the buds; if I did, it would be a homemade one. Does the net really work and help with anything?
The period we all love is coming, you're going to freak out seeing how this turns out in 6 weeks (let's hope).
Cheers, mates, and thanks for reading!

overfield I have only defoliated 5 of them more aggressively to see if there are any differences. Since the page doesn't allow me to specify it, I'll put it here: I have done two waterings, one with coco bases etc. and another only with delta 9 with the proportions that I was allowed to use, these have been the waterings.
Bases etc.:
500 ml per plant
PH: 6.1
EC: 1.4 ms/cm
Watering temp: 20ºC
4 days later, yesterday, delta watering:
400 ml per plant with Delta 9
PH: 6.1
EC: 1.45 ms/cm
Watering temp: 20ºC
And that's about it, we'll keep an eye on their evolution, "let's pray" for the temperatures to rise by two or three degrees on average, and in the meantime, we'll smoke some of the previous crop xD

overfield I've been quite busy this week, but last night I watered and just took some photos of them.
I've watered twice since the last time I updated, I've been giving them 400ml each every three days. I might move it to every two days, but the temperatures would need to rise a bit since, on average, they've dropped again. That's the downside of winter growing and having LEDs; for my taste, spring is the best, as it gives you the best temperatures.
For now, they're flowering well; I'm not sure if a bit slower than expected, but we'll keep an eye on their progress.
Cheers!

overfield This afternoon marks day 21 of flowering, folks. I've given them two waterings since the last update, just did a mini defoliation and took some pics right before the lights came on this afternoon.
Theoretically, they should be starting their second phase of flowering, but I'm going to give them one more first-phase watering. I don't mind if I have to give them 45 days instead of 42, etc. Three days ago, I gave them a watering with Atazyme, and just now I gave them a first-phase flowering watering.
They were starting to get a lot of foliage, you'll see it in the photos, so I decided to remove some leaves, but not as many as in the previous grow. It seems like the Bilbo doesn't like being defoliated too much.
I also turned off the blue spectrum of the light, since the grow light recommended it this way, and I understand that for flowering they need more of the red spectrum, plus it saves me some watts.
The watering with just Atazyme on their day 18 of flowering:
800 ml per plant
PH: 6.2
EC: 0 ms/cm (or whatever comes from the tap, which theoretically isn't much)
Watering temp: 20ºC
The watering with coco base, PK, and Calmag today:
400 ml per plant
PH: 6.2
EC: 1.5 ms/cm (or whatever comes from the tap, which theoretically isn't much)
Watering temp: 20ºC

overfield Today they will start their day 28
The defoliations are done, etc., they will stay like this until they die.
One thing I haven't liked about having only the red spectrum now in the last phase is the temperature; it has dropped a lot on average, and for this phase, I need it to be a bit warmer. Besides, before the coco dried quite quickly, and now it takes longer to dry...
In response to the humidity, which is also affected by the temperature, I put a dehumidifier yesterday; I need a lower humidity than what I have.
- Tmax: 21.5ºC RHmax: 70%
- Tmin: 16ºC RHmin: 50%
The watering of only the first phase with mega pk on day 24 of flowering:
400 ml per plant
PH: 6.3
EC: 1.7 ms/cm
Watering temp: 20ºC
The watering with Delta 9 from yesterday
400 ml per plant
PH: 6.3
EC: 1.6 ms/cm
Watering temp: 20ºC
The next watering will be with atazyme and will be in two days or so
Thanks for reading!!

overfield We're in the final stretch
Yesterday they started their day 41 of flowering, I began with the root wash and just took some photos.
I did another second phase flowering watering three days ago, and the cleaning one yesterday.
- Tmax: 25ºC RHmax: 60%
- Tmin: 17ºC RHmin: 38%
The second phase flowering watering (day 39)
400 ml per plant
PH: 6.5
EC: 2 ms/cm
Water temp for watering: 20ºC
The washing watering with final solution (day 41)
1.2 L per plant
PH: 6.5
EC: 0.2 ms/cm
Water temp for watering: 20ºC
The next watering I'll do a root wash again until they almost pee water, and then off to the hairdresser.
And in the end, I'm going to give them what I predicted, about 7 weeks and I'm a few days ahead, but well, the low temperatures or whatever have delayed everything a bit in my opinion.

And well, here we are, I really suffered a bit from the deception of seeing the buds thicker than they really were, and as you start trimming, you realize they weren't that thick, but it's all about improving oneself and with time things will turn out better. At least I’ll have enough for personal use until the new season starts (which will be soon).
I’m leaving photos from before, after trimming, and I’m posting a picture of a very curious mutation I’ve seen. Let’s see if someone here has seen it and it’s not as weird as I think. It’s a sprout growing right at the base of a fan leaf, quite rare and mind-blowing for me. Thanks for following me on this adventure, I’ll post about the weight and the tasting, cheers and good smokes!!

overfield I'm a complete disaster, I forgot to comment on the harvest, weighing, etc., sorry.
Let's see... the weighing and the "hardness" or consistency of the buds (they don't have much body...) has disappointed me a bit, it was 220g which considering that for a large part of the grow I only had one spectrum or another of colors and that each spectrum is about 200W, I guess it's not that bad. Still, I have to say I expected more, I'll keep improving to see how the light performs with the next grow.
Regarding the weed itself, it's bilbo or at least it tastes and smells exactly like the others I've had in the past. That said, giving it 7 weeks has made it take on a slightly different organoleptic profile; I would define it as having a somewhat aniseed flavor, but sweet after all. As for the high, no complaints either, a solid hit to the head and if you overdo it with the joints, well, off to sleep for a bit XDD
And not much more guys, thanks to everyone who has read and accompanied me, given advice and blablabla, see you in the next follow-up, which will be very soon. Cheers and good smokes, signing off your server.
