Breeding Zkittlez Glue with Auto's

First entry Not the best set up ATM had to break everything down and do a major cleaning due to a spider mite introduction (brought a outside plant in, not doing that again haha) Having fun and going to do a pollination of Regular photoperiod pollen to auto flowering plants and photo sisters Have 3 regular Zkittlez Glue from Canuk seeds hoping a male will spring up and seed the ladies... i49 Auto gorilla glue #4, Canuk seeds Auto Zkittlez and Canuk Zkittlez glue All have been topped last week and the auto's are just showing signs of sex (female cause Feminized haha) Going to flip in the next week or so and get the photos to sex Main objective of this grow is to get more Zkittlez Glue seeds and doing the first step of making a regular auto flowering cultivar which will take some time

Looking over my notes these girls are more 5 weeks then 4 haha Apologies for the mix up Did some light defoliation of leaves to help light penetration and LST training to the Auto's and 1 of the Zkittlez Glue Water ph is 5.7 not 6.5 as mentioned before Gave a cal-mag Velokelp foliar spray about 6ml Velokelp and 3ml Cal-Mag in a liter of h2o spray. Once a week Rearranged the pots to improve better Par since the Auto's are just about to enter into flowering Going to take some clones off the best ZkzGlue before flipping just incase it's a female, be a nice plant to have and if a male be handy to have on hand for another project (some good traits being shown with it) Planning on flipping on the 21st

Like stated in previous entry be flipping to 12/12 light schedule for the photos to sex Crossing my fingers a male will show up within the Reg seeds and pollinate the Auto ladies when they're 4-5 weeks into bloom Pollinating a Female Reg is a added bonus :) to this fun endeavor Worst-case scenario they're all girls LMFAO 😆 I'll grow them out then smoke them while attempting again haha Removed more fan leaves from the axil node area's, I'm leaving the axillary sights alone looking to produce as much as possible for flowering sights Maintain more training on the LST regimen Future little bonsai trees in the making Lowered the Velokelp by 1 ml/g and added in 2ml/gal Nature's Candy into the mix Foliar spray the same mix 6mlVK/3mlCM=1L H2O IPM is Method 1 PPS at 5ml to 1L H2O Foliar one spray a week Plant in the red pot got holes drilled into the bottom of it then got a good flushing of the H2O mixture to help get air into that area and get a good healthy meal to start the day Hoping this will help with the lighter colour it's been presenting and slower growth Did take some cuttings, will see what happens in a few weeks, they'll be vegging out with the chili peppers for the time being Be introducing REMO Bloom and AstroFlower to the H2O mixture 1ml/gal each on their next watering

Photoperiod Zkittlez Glue are starting to show their sex believe 2 are female and the other a male still early to tell for sure Autos are doing good Canucks Zkittlez is taking off, handling the LST well, the i49 Auto GG#4 is a little slow growing but healthy The fertilizer measurements will be that amount now throughout the this project Guessing they'll need both grow and bloom throughout for seed production Not planning on flushing want big happy healthy mum's from start to finish for happy little seeds Foliar spray of Method 1 PPS once a wk for IPM Foliar spray 5mlVelokelp/2mlMagnifiCal 1LH2O once a wk

Re setup my garden footprint in the 4x8 Like stated in the beginning Spider mites them Ducker's are a pain, so after 7 weeks sitting with the first 4 weeks getting serious pest management and cleaning lots of cleaning I'm able to get the Office going :) just This week a good one, definitely have a Male Zkittlez Glue 👍🌱😃 the other 2 are female's all 3 are doing great and developing nicely The Autos are doing well Zkittlez is just a beast on the stretching, she's just beautiful, nice light penetration with her spicing The Gorilla Glue she's fantastic to grow nice tight internodes and a very even canopy happening Not much else to report till the male flowers out then the fun starts with pollinating and some pollen harvest for future projects Clipping taken of the male Zkittlez glue didn't make it sadly sh*t happens.

Well the male took a hit it, lost a branch arm and half a branch plus had to ban aid up a arm to save another branch, which came to be a successful recovery, was moving around while watering and caught him while falling, my own fault but hey he didn't hit the ground Canuk Auto Zkittlez is showing signs of tip burn so I might need to adjust the fertilizer feed down a bit but all and all she good, a very pleasant smell coming off her, surprisingly the i49 Auto GG#4 is just fine an lush looking with a fainted pine and chocolate smell, photoperiod plants are healthy to The female Zkittlez Glue are beautiful and developing nicely got a chem smell happening Male has had some sacks open and seen pollen floating in the air when moved, just waiting and watching till he's peak for collection and shacking which should be very soon :) Usual IPM and foliar sprayings

Male Zkittlez Glue having the time of his life being the Cock🐓 of the Hen🐔 house 🏠, lots of pollen coming off him, about a good 3rd of the flowers have open. Going to go another week of so before he meets the finishing line One of the Zkittlez Glue girls are showing signs of a deficiency, could be a early sign of things to come with the others or just herself but watching Going to cut back more on the fertilizers on the next mix, all of them are showing signs of small leaf tip burning so running a little hot🔥 i49 Auto Gorilla Glue smells fantastic same with the Canuk Auto Zkittlez Zkittlez Glue not so much ATM on the odor but is early to tell regular girls still have 6-7 weeks to go Autos are about 5 weeks away. 1 Reg. Zkittlez Glue showing signs of deficiencies or mosaic virus don't really know Just rolling with it for now is space farther away from the rest of the garden and time will tell if is mosaic 🤞 seriously hoping it isn't Auto Zkittlez is showing signs of K deficiency normal for this time Auto GG#4 she's doing the best out of them all Calyx are swelling up and on the verge of splitting open with lil' green helmets to show Colour nice and healthy 2nd Zkittlez Glue showing signs of minor nutrient burn but coming along nicely, her smell starting to show. This lady smells divine chem pine chocolate candy :) going to grow again for flower harvest just beautiful bud formation with respectful coating of trichomes Male Zkittlez Glue in a closet going under pollen harvesting, just in a plastic bag with very little air movement Collect what I can off the leaves and poor out the bag for any loose stuff that fallen on to a parchment paper surface All and all growing along nicely

Harvest the male for pollen, got a good amount to play with on a to be flower run of i49 Zkittlez Glue clone, storing the pollen in the freezer till the time comes to section a branch when ready Zkittlez Glue is smelling FUCKIN' DELICIOUS Coming off as Tropical Candy Chem now very happy with this pheno mom and the male dad hoping the offspring show all the best traits of both them. 2nd ZkGl is doing well besides showing signs of deficiencies going to test grow these beans when they're ready to double check some things, still playing it safe i49 Auto Gorilla Glue #4 is still Queen Bee Just swelling & splitting open with baby beans to be :) healthy green and a awesome Terp smell of lemon pine hint of mocha chocolate Canuk Auto Zkittlez K deficiency definitely showing, is what it is at this stage, swelling & poppin in baby beans to be :) Terp profile not as loud as what I have experienced with other Zkittlez but that tropical skunky version smell is there just not as big and pronounce from what I've grown in the past Beautiful cultivar though in terms of growing and training, nice spacing of the internodes And the trichomes are just yummy looking Looking forward to testing both these F1 Fast Crosses and the IBL ZkGl when they're ready plus another step closer to Auto Regular seeds :)

Light burnt one of the mama's so I raised the light up discovered a fan was unplugged only thing I can think of that helped with the light burning as well some light bleaching on another mama, surprisingly this was never a issue before this week... live and learn Also gave them all a good flushing of ph h2o just to reset the coco/perlite they're not as thirsty as before, so going to bring the feed down for the next 2 weeks or so after a couple more flushing's of ph h2o Some beans are starting to brown or show some strips but mostly still green beans from what I been seeing on the Auto Zkittlez and Auto GG4 The ZkGl they're still producing inside the calyx not really showing signs of seeds but they're their for sure can feel them while rubbing for a terp hit haha love the candy chem smell

Feedings was pretty much ph h2o to 5.9 ish range for the week 18th of april was there first feeding with nutrients again, hoping the mixture above will be good till completion Purple hues are coming through on the Auto Zkittlez and Auto GG4 camera doesn't do justice on getting decent pictures Thinking I'll keep 30 beans from the purple calyx ones of each plant for the next round and add some to the collection toww, be needing a male from each strain to pollinate the Auto Fem's (Seedsman Auto Zkittlez and BlimBurn Auto GG#4) to get closer to each cultivar with the Autoflowering trait before focusing on growing characteristics (be a few more rounds) be nice to have some F1 Fast flowering regular seeds of Zkittlez and Gorilla Glue on hand and some in the collection. Rest are being donated out once there ready no need to hoard all them Really not much to report this week girls are just doing their thing Apologies for the photo shortage, internet issues Happy four twenty 4/20

Ladies are just doing their thang Seeds are maturing in the autos and the photoperiod girls are coming along As you can see the one Zkittlez Glue took a huge hit in light burnt still alive and kicking so we'll see how it goes Just awaiting game now on the beans to finish

I harvested her early due to the heavy light bleaching, pretty much cooked her wasn't seeing any improvements so I cut her down and hunted for the best beans I could find Wasn't the best ratio of decent good beans to immature, is what it is Smoke pretty decent if it was just flower fuck I think it would have been 9/10 but seeded so thc production not the highest Finger hash and kief is niiccee haha

Beans are maturing still have some green babies showing but strips an colour coming along Hoping 2 weeks at most for the autos Other ZkGl might be a month away Harvested the light bleached girl She was cooked so grabbed what I could Harvest a random Zkittlez bean for a friend to try did germ so that's a win :)

Like stated in the beginning 1st step towards a Regular Auto Zkittlez Mix feelings on this mother Auto a week e she turned purple while flowering be a nice trait to continue on with but her Terps doesn't have that Loudness to her Next round will be a Male ZkGl X Auto Zkittlez pollinating a Seedsman Seed Auto Zkittlez & Fast Buds Auto Zkittlez Hoping a auto offspring from both will emerge from that round to breed together From their either going to take that F1 to cross with another Auto Zkittlez (Prism) to lock in the Auto Trait more and get a more solid Zkittlez background before working on F2+ plant characteristics and locking in more consistent plant traits Bud is wet drying out before picking more seeds out 🖖

A good grow was a nice pheno to care for Again first step towards a regular gg4 autos Next round be a male ZkGl X GG4 Auto pollinate a BlimBurn GG4 and Fast Buds Gorilla Cookies then those 2 will be cross together then that cross will be breed towards another Auto GG4 before working on F2+ characteristics Beans be donated out 🖖

Last remaining ZkGl girl still going have found some mature beans in her while searching around Mainly in the top cola areas secondary buds are still green beans or just turning white Still a few weeks away
