I moved the girls over to the flower tent...little behind in getting them over there. Current flower set up occupants were taking longer than anticipated. I ended up swapping them out.
They have responded incredibly to the last compost tea and all have absolutely exploded with growth and bud development. I have zero complaints, and knock on wood, no major issues to note. From what I understand you can repeat compost teas fairly frequently, but I don’t want to push my luck. Thus far I have been pleasantly surprised with how well things have gone with my first organic run. If yields are similar to my bottle nute runs (fingers crossed it’s better) then I anticipate a significant change in my tactics moving forward.
As I stated before I’ll likely give all another compost tea in the next week or so. I’ll possibly top dress the lemon and Skywalker OG one more time...but I’m playing by ear.
These ladies are looking pretty dang sweet right now, I can’t believe this is working as good as it is. I’m beyond stoked.
Thanks for checking things out!
Will the trichs change to amber on this strain? I am a few days past the breeder harvest date, but there are no ambers and more clear ones than I’d expect at this point. I certainly have had plants go for longer or shorter than recommended, but based on trichs I am getting mixed messages. These girls are looking like they are on their last leg and borrowed time. Any advice or pointers for this strain? Thanks!!
It is always great to see an organic grow. The will to do one is more than enough reason. Regarding the small buds issue, happened to me aswell in my first endevours and it turned out to be excess nitrogen during flowering stage. The source most probably the compost tea. And/Or not enough pottasium. So yeah it´s a lot of tweeking required, but the journey should be nothing else than amaizing. The dance of elements, microbes, paramecium, enzymes, mycorize (by the way consider them next time, they´re great) is something to be a part of. Thumbs up and play!
That’s an interesting point you bring up about N. I have been adding worm castings to every tea...plus the little bit from other elements added (kelp, alfalfa, non meal, etc.). That could be it. I also have not added any myco. I have some RAW in my arsenel(N, P, K, and Ca/Mg) and even though it’s not organic it is each element in its pure and soluble form. I plan on using micro amounts so I can selectively add individual elements as needed.
All good points, appreciate the feedback. Best of luck with your ladies...looking good in flower!
