We went 3/5 with crop kings house strain crown royale. 2 of the 5 seeds were very small and just never had a chance. Threw a Gelato in there to fill the space (thats the lil fella) for this grow i finally got My RO system in so from here on in im one of the cool kids. Nothing will be just water anymore it will henceforth only be referred to as "plain RO water" ill be waiting for my cool kids club card in the mail. We'll be rocking the same full GH lineup with calmag and raw microbes in promix hp. This will be my last non hydro grow as I'm building my rdwc system as we speak. Hoping that this grow is a lot smoother than my last but there's always room for blunders in my grow journals. Cheers and happy growing.

Nah, nothing to worry about, your plant has "personality" and the funny leaf is just something that happens from time to time and for no apparent reason. If you grow cannabis long enough, you will see all sorts of strange leaf colours and shapes too, they are not necessarily "problems" or any sort of deficiency or excess, just funny leaves, plain and simple. They will certainly need transplanting soon though, not much room for root growth in those cups and at this stage they need plenty of room to grow their best, this is after all their foundation time and keeping them in small cups will restrict their growth at this most vital and important stage of their development. Hope this helps,......... Organoman.

Well another smooth week in the books. I decided to make the switch from promix to coco w/ 20% perlite. It lets me be a little more involved in controlling the nutes and I wanna spend more time in there lol. At transplant I spread some raw microbes in the root zone and gave the some plain RO water with calmag and let them settle in. The fact I've had no issues so far has made this far more relaxed than the last grow. Here's to hoping for minimal blunders this run.

Hi Guys! This grow has been so smooth I'm loving this. Growing in coco has been a treat, the root growth is insane. I much prefer it over the promix HP so far. We continued to LST the ladies, I'm going for a nice clockwise spiral on the main stem and I'll spready out the tops before florwer. So far so good! I went to my local hydro store today just to say what's up and left with $180 worth of nutes, so we got some silicate to play with, a gallon of cal-mag and some h202. I can't get hydroguard here in canada and there's really just no replacement so I'm gonna have to learn how to use this h202.... after reading the bottle it's honestly a little scary the TLDR of it is this stuff is nastyyyy. crazy it doesnt hurt the plants at all. Anyway, Happy growing boys & girls.

Hey guys! This week I'm defintely regretting my choice of the spiral main stem. I guess its called bonsai technique but its just taking way too long and keeps stressing them out. With topping and lst id be flipping to flower this week but I probably need another 2 weeks to finish with this technique. I guess I'm glad I tried it for the experience but this will be my last experience with it thats for sure. Overall the girls look healthy and happy though and no real issues to report. We're full steam ahead.

Hey guys! Still going strong. My Gelato loves the lst no problems there. My crown royale on the other hand doesn't really like it. Every branch I tie down turns purple the next day but al in all they growing strong. This week will be finishing the bonsai spiral, more lst and a good lollipop at the end of the week. Ill be taking a few clones from my Gelato to try in my rdwc freshly built and give it a run. The pheno has been strong and highly resilient and loves the nutes. The dwc system is looking a little tight in the tent but thats what lst is for haha. Thanks for dropping in and happy growing!

So my girls are looking real sad. Im not sure if its due to their LST or something else. They are in coco and being fed gh flora series @ 5.8ph. Temp is a steady 76F humidity ranges between 60-70%. 18/6 lights. I fees once thoroughly ever 2 days. Got some clear signs of stress.

what about ec? maybe this strain need higher ph? check other grower ph/ec values for this strain and maybe try to change watering frequency/ammount - I'd say this can be low water result, but I'm just newbie (so do not take me seriously)

Hey growmies! another easy week, no real problems. They all got a lollipop and defoliation, in the process was able to take 12 clones for friends and four gelato for the rdwc setup. I topped two of the crown royals early in the week because I'm just so tired of the bonsai method. The thought was top em, and stretch em out to fill the canopy and she's pretty much full. I vegged way longer than intended but that's okay I got lots of nice clonie girls. The root system is super healthy, they're poking out all over the 3g pots... really wish I went with the 5g for this long veg but ah well I'm not transplanting now. I decided to test my runoff today and ppm in was 410, ppm out was 198. My understanding of this means I can bump up my nute strength which is just fine with me, more power! picture me doing the Home Improvement Tim Allan grunt as I say that lol. So we got a full canopy, healthy roots, healthy plants and a need for buds so you guys know what time it is?! It's time to flip these babies and get my house smelling sweet again. See ya next week for the stretch! Happy growing.

Gotta love the week after flip when the sweet smell lightly breezes through your home making houseguests and children raise their eyebrows. So this week its pretty chill, did some light defoliation, hiked her skirt up a bit and switched to transition feed @ 75%. girls are responding nicely to the raised ppms, a touch of tip burn on a handful of leaves but I like to push them a bit. Honestly I'm only feeding havent seen a single reason to give them a break, just shoving those nutes down their throats and watching them enjoy their glutenous ways. So far I'm loving coco, it's so forgiving and straightforward and the roots absolutely love it. At this point they're just finishing up their stretch and the bud sites are starting to produce. I can't wait for the buds to start popping, the smell is already god damn delicious. Well thanks for poppin' in, stay safe and happy growin' guys.

Hey guys we got a lot done this week, we cleaned up the skirt, we opened up the canopy and we started seeing buds. My god I've never had this kind of result.. through and through coco has been the most versatile growing meduim ive ever had the pleasure of working with but the smell is insane this early in the grow. I had cops come to my neighborhood 4 in total to settle a domestic dispute and as they were leaving and i was dumping my runoff one of them turned to me, nodded and said only "nice" lmao. I 'm staying within the bounds of the law so I'm not worried but talk about gratification. We've got koolbloom added in, we added a nice dose of microbial mass and I'm just waiting on the bud explosion coming next week. The stretch was kind of insane, I wasnt expecting to double in size but perhaps I Should have. There is literally no more rom for growth, if they grow another inch I'd have to cut a hole in the roof of the tent and hang the light from my garage door racks. We're gonna keep pushing forward and hope for the best. I've started a youtube channel for my rdwc grow and I'm gonna include some updates from this coco grow within, stay tuned @ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRN6xbdCmJYgFMnSpDCvBPw for more updates. Happy growing

Hey guys another good week in the grow tent. So to start the week we hit them with some microbes to get things moving along nicely, then it was time to defoliate. We hiked the skirt up and removed a bunch of the mess in the center of the plant. They've finally stopped growing vertically now but I was in danger close to the light... like 6 inches away. I had to jimmy up the light with some zip ties and I removed the tray riser from under the gelato as she's just a few inches taller than the rest. Buds are coming in all over and I'm loving everything the gelato is showing me. I cant wait for my other tent to be crowded with gelato buds. We did have one problem this week and I'm not certain I've solved it as of this moment. The humidity jacked up to 85-95%. Outside the tent is sitting pretty at 35% but they're transpiring so heavily its like the savannah in there. Plan of action originally was put the big boy dehumidifier in there, this plan was a dud I simply don't have the floor space. Plan B I just put into action, I removed the side screen cover and have a fan blowing in the dryer air from outside and loosened my peep hole a bit to increase air outflow. It's dropped sub 80% but I've yet to find out where the bottom floor is lol. Everything is moving along nicely otherwise, just the slightest touch of tip burn is telling me I'm pushing them as hard as I need to nutrient wise. Now we wait. Happy growing guys! Follow along with this and other grows on youtube @ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRN6xbdCmJYgFMnSpDCvBPw I have some big plans for this channel in the future (including better quality recording equipment). I plan on having a synthetic vs organic grow off with a buddy. Following my sweet seeds contest grow, and testing out a bunch of new genetics my friend is working on. Hope to see you there

What can I say grow diaries aren't as interesting when you don't have funny blunders. These plants are just inner tubing down the lazy river to a strong finish. I did nothing but keep them fed this week, I think at one point I took them all out and just sat in the middle of them drinking a margarita which was lovely. The one thing I will say is I'm not taking them out of the tent anymore, it's so crowded in there they get tangled up and I'm going to start breaking branches soon...... and they're kinda heavy now so I'm just gonna leave them in and shop vac out the runoff from the trays. Only a few week away from the harvest and I cant wait to see these nugs fatten up. The Gelato is packing on weight pretty quickly and the crown royal is kinda stuck in the mini nug stage but I know they're just behind the gelato on that lazy river ride. Everything is starting to bulk up now, buds are looking nice still lots of white hairs, oddly a lot of orange on the back right plant closest to the exhaust. Perhaps it's the heat around it turning it early not much I can do. We're well on the way now growmies, another couple weeks then flush time

Finally! Finally I screwed up lol. Remember when I said I wasn't gonna get to take them out of the tent anymore? Well I noticed some dead foliage and buds that I wanted to trim off before they rot in the back left that I couldn't get at. So I ignored my own instinct and decided to pull the front left one out so I could do a little trimming and the second I removed it it folded up on me like an umbrella midflight trapping me in a bubble of sticky buds which one might find appealing but while im trapped in this bent bud prison cell the other girls in the tent start folding like a house of cards. I shove it back in and try to scrog the bunt stem buds back to their upright flight position to the best of my abilities all the while cursing my own level of stupidity. The problem has been rectified for the most part although I still have to adjust a few fallen comrades from day to day. 2 more weeks guys, hopefully this is my first and only blunder of the grow. Excuse me while I go shower off the sticky resin off my entire body, happy growing!

Hey guys, no blunders to report this week. I'm just hammering them with nutes and watching buds grow. I checked the trichs tonight at the end of the week which is actually day 58 of flower and things are looking close, actually too close in 3/4 of the plants. I'm seeing a fair amount of amber so I'm going be starting my one week flush on those 3, however the front right looks like it could flower another 2-3 weeks oddly. I'm gonna keep hitting her with nutes until the buds fatten up a bit more and I start seeing some orange hairs. Harvest date for the other 3 is going to be June 4th. Looking forward to it! Happy growing guys

Well that's a wrap folks for 3 of our lovely ladies. Trichs started to amber out after 8 days of flush and their final day has arrived. I opened the tent wearing a jason mask wielding a machete.... or was it scissors I can't remember, and slashed and hacked 3 of the ladies down like they were blonde cheerleaders making out at lovers lane. All the top colas were amazing but I wound up with a metric ton of larf. I just wasn't able to get in there and trim bud sites and defoliate like I normally would have without the house of cards that were this plants tumbling down to the ground. On a positive note the good buds smell amazing and are coated in lovely trichs and are as dense enough to break a window if you've got a good enough fastball. The Final Girl, as it were, is still kickin it in the tent, I just started her flush so in around 8 days she'll be greeted but a knife wielding psychopath. Happy goring... I mean growing guys! It was a great grow, no real problems throughout other than they overgrew themselves in my tight space and didnt have the stem strength to hold their buds up but thats some serious first world problems right there. I've enjoyed a taste and I'm getting that classic kush vibe. We'll have to wait a few weeks of cure to experience the full extent of these terps but I'm looking forward to it. Happy growing!
