Let me start by saying that I wish I could have found this app earlier. but anyways. Its week 6 of vegging for this WW from g13 labs. has grown very vigorously from seed. I plan on vegging till week 8. so I will flip on April 28th to 12/12 light cycle
This is the last week before switching to flower. No problems this week ph has been fluctuating between 5.5 and 6.5 always adjusting it when goes above or below those numbers. I decided yesterday to trim it and got rid of all the small branches also tied down most of the branches to even the canopy. this white widow from G13 labs is indica dominant. very sturdy and strong plant. has been very easy to grow so far.
Today the transition begins. also the scrog net is in place to start the process its my first time trying scrog method I have only topped and lst with my previous grows I hope I manage it correctly. any tips are welcome. I have to say again that this white widow has been extraordinary so far. not a single problem. I have only noticed that she is sensitive to over watering so managing the level in the reservoir was tricky the first couple of weeks but other than that she has been very resistant and strong...
Does anybody put here has grown this strain? How much more growing can I expect from her? This is my first scrog grow and I'm getting nervous about her stretch! I'm trying to get 6 inches above the net. You see this possible or am I dreaming?
Whatever size your plant is now, expect it to at least double in height, minimum! In some cases 3 times if being a sativa dominant strain. This is to be expected after the first 3 weeks of switch to 12/12. Don't underestimate her as she will suddenly have a growth spurt.
A week from flipping to 12/12 light cycle! she is now starting to form pre flower in most of the branches! I'm hoping she grow enough to make at least 6 inches above the net. she is really bushy and I constantly have to cut one or to leaves in order to give light to all the colas! overall very happy with this white widow and feel very confident about the crop she will give!😎😎😎
today is the beginning of week three since the switch to 12/12 light cycle. i make sure to measure her every day to follow up the stretch as soon as she stop the growth she is getting her last haircut. the main stem mutated into a triploid first time this happens to me ever and I'm not sure I'm excited about it.
😶 what can you guys tell me about this triploid mutations? I've been reading and apparently rises the thc levels. but to me still a mutation is it safe to smoke? is it consider a GMO even if it happened naturally?
Bud sites are starting to grow. I defoliate her last Thursday after I check she wasn't getting any taller. she has recovery very quick and also getting bushy again, maybe she'll get more small haircuts in the upcoming weeks to keep light reaching the lower buds, I also started using terpinator thought I could give it a try will post more on that. for the future grows I think I'm going to switch to advanced nutrients. any reviews on those nutes? I only hear good things about them, and honestly I'm starting to feel that I maxed out the potential of GHE.
Today is the beginning of week five of flower and day 28 since the switch to 12/12 light cycle. had a little of calcium deficiency last Tuesday due to the fact that I have to add half gallon of water everyday and nute concentration went down. I turned the temperatures down a few degrees to make her start fattening the buds, also some top pistils are starting to turn amber. She might be earlier than I'm expecting 😀
Well day 34 of flower today week 6. Let me start by saying that this week hasn't been too good for my white widow, all sort of issues, first she started to burn with the nutes, that was corrected fast, but then I had a power outbreak on my air pump and water quality went to hell follow by that Ph sky rocket and was very hard to keep steady. All that is now under control bit she suffered a lot this week and I'm afraid my yield is going to be affected by this terrible week. 😕
It was a very easy to grow plant very strong and sturdy. Resistant and healthy. Sadly last week was a wreck with a series of issues that cut my yield very badly. Even with all those issues she managed to give me some quality buds. Not big but quality is on point.I will update on the dry bud I will consider lucky my self if I end up with 2oz.
I feel ok about this grow. Not because of the plant but for the problems I had last week with the grow room. I also say that the negative is paranoia but a lot of strains gets me paranoid but my wife loves the effects and she got really happy when she tried it 0. I want to update on the paranoia thing, Im not getting it anymore :D
6-23-18 update: so the buds have been curing for 3 weeks now. The high is talkative relaxing mellow and mostly body high. Its a very smooth smoke. I'm really pleased with the result.
@Beans, hey yes I know what you mean about the net. This is my first scrog as well. I just going to wait to see how it goes and the yield. For my green crack I guess I will try some kind of mainlining because i had an accident topping her this morning lol

I will. I was using lst all through veg then switched to scrog for flower. Not a big fan of scrog sp far. Feel like all the new growth is getting smashed all the time and the screen is always exactly in the wrong place for what I need.
@Beans, thank you bro. I try to keep the canopy doing lst. This white widow wont have any more training on her she is growing vertically now. But i got a green crack which is going to start its training this week check that one out too!
