I live in a low humidity environment and managing the humidity early on with the clone was difficult. Ended up buying a small humidifier for my tent, this really helped the clone come around.
Defoliation seemed to make bud size increase overnight! Maybe just perspective... This was my first time doing so. If you look close most of the hairs have turned orange, probably from my handling of the buds... but just goes to show that you gotta get a closer look at those trichomes to see what’s really going on.
Started flushing this week, trichomes are still clear on 60x magnification. Since I’m working with coco primarily as a grow medium, I have started flushing giving myself at least a full week of flushing before harvest. I am currently planning on harvesting anywhere from 3/23-3/30. (9-10th week of flowering)
I have tasted some even though it is a little early for it to be fully cured. The smoke is very smooth, absolutely no throat hit but within seconds I get a great feeling at the top of my head and melts down to the rest of my body. Grandpa Larry should not operate machinery! Currently don’t have a scale... epic fail, hopefully I will update this with an approximation of yield.
