all plants are pulling through despite the weird growth i got early on. still ugly little plants but that is probably more to do with all the topping.
the funky little runt just shot 6 branches from one node. it just might end up being a beast
this strain really wants to grow a single cola. it doesnt matter how i top it or supercrop it. it always selects one shoot to push up and im forever fighting it trying to get it to grow the shoots that are falling behind.
im starting to see signs that i can expect to see sex in the next week or 2
the second smallest plant is stinky as hell. it is growing very slowly but man it stinks just moving it to water it releases the funk.
the runt has a stem issue it just doesnt want to fatten up and its getting too top heavy i may just get a cutting off of it soon and toss it aside. see what happens over the next week.
Odour control is going to be a nightmare for these. they already stink out my garage and i can smell them from the driveway on occasion.
no bending allowed, these branches have no give. completely snapped 2 branches off one of them trying to do LST, saved the branches as cuttings but still a little dissapointing. Pinch and bend is actually the safest option
got 2 stars of this show. wouldn't be disappointed if they were male and female so i could pair them up
These plants stink. Even my cuttings i have in the laundry by a sunny window make my house stink.
Really thought i would have been able to identify sex on these by now but they really dont want to play that game. I have a sneaking suspition the runt and the big one may be females and the other 2 males but i just cant be sure.
Im itching to flip because honestly these plants are a bitch to train and im over it. I have snapped more branches in this grow than in my whole growing career.
On the other hand i dont want to flip then find out i have 1 tiny female. If i know sex i can veg appropriately
so the star is just getting better and better, i yoyo'd her down to spread out the bud sites. i think i might get some colas on this one. im just very happy with the way she has been trained. all the tops are big primary branches. nice even spacing with plenty of light getting in to each top.
the male is the real star of the grow still though. he doesnt look like much jammed in the corner there but his smell is just awesome.
the other girl has pretty much been sidelined
the tall girl has little smell at all but is stacking up very nicely gave her a little tie down now that the male is out and i have a little room. top also got a little defol.
big girl stem rub smells of OGkush with a hint of chem, she also got a little defol. hasnt stacked as nicely as the other one.
the male is still the star of this show in my opinion. his stem rub is pure OGkush.
he has been moved to the house to flower out
the male is so stanky. really getting ready to bust his nut. he is inside the house now away from the ladies.
the tall girl is looking nicer and nicer by the day. sugar rub is just a nice lemon og funk
the big girl is still supreme with a mix of the tahoe and chem in the smell department.
she is lemon, pine and nail polish remover
i stuffed these up a little they are too high and the light is making the tops stretch and look crappy :( im out of headroom though
still frosty as, going to yield well and smells crazy good
one of the plants didnt yield all that well but it did finish quick with a very nice smell and flavour.
the larger yielding one went full time of 11 weeks flower from flip 12/12. really nice big buds with strong chem/ acetone smell and flavour over floral notes. very appealling smell very strong smell. translates to flavor well. stone is heavy with strong munchies. makes very nice hash
overall i am very impressed and will be running my keeper for a long time to come. she will be a cash cropper for sure. pulling a pound per square meter will be easy with the mother i kept. im also making F2's because the male i found is very impressive
@MG2009, up potted that runt today. roots are very healthy but she still has other concerns. i think i might clone her and see if she does better from clone
yeah. im a little bummed i let them get a little close to the light so the very top buds have stretched out a bit so the tops might look a little funny by the end. but if thats the worst of it then it isnt too bad, they didnt bleach or anything and they have been dropped now. otherwise its looking pretty good
