futureisgreen Getting to grips with temp in the greenhouse tent is very tricky. It can get very hot very quickly in the tent, even though its cold outside and not super hot in the greenhouse, so moving the plant out into the greenhouse when the sun is out.

futureisgreen She does not seem very happy the leaves are curled under and a bit dry. I have seen aphids (greenfly) on her which I've countered with some ladybirds and yellow sticky traps. I also think I put her in the IWS pot too soon, 17 litres of water with 17ml A and B Hydrogrow perhaps I should have waited a couple of weeks before setting in the IWS pot. Roots are good I think so I think I'll just top up the tank with fresh water and leave her a few more days see how she gets on. Its my first hydro grow by the way so I'm a total noob

Please can anyone point out what I've done wrong here, she seems very unhappy :( I found greenfly originally which I think I've got rid of, and might have been to close to the light so I've moved her to 80 cm away. I think the roots are ok but foliage just curl at edges and tips

hey there future is green, your humidity is much too low, that's why , try using a mister or spraying the seedlings up to six times to maintain around 65% humidity. these might very well be stunted though, just bear that in mind in case you might want to consider a redo. Hope this helps ! 🚀

futureisgreen wow, much improved thanks to @bulbi I added some trays of water to the tent and keep spraying her, RH is up to 50 sometimes 60% and she seems to have improved quite a bit

futureisgreen having some fun trying to get the temp /humidity more stable with a tent in the greenhouse. I think opening up the tent fully during warm sunny days is the plan going forward and venting the greenhouse by opening by doors. See how we get on, recently the temps have been going up to 35 degrees celsius in the day and then down to below 5 degrees celsius at night and the tent is very dry. I tried using a pc fan to pull air in from outside but it's not powerful enough, may need another duct fan if opening up the greenhouse doors and dropping the tent sides doesn't help even the temps out a bit

Some of the leaf tips are crumpled and darker green, not extending out into tips but rather appearing short almost blunt ? I wonder is this heat stress or perhaps still a lack of humidity. I've been pretty lenient on the nutrients, maybe I should back off with them a little more?

Has your ph reader been calibrated lately? Make sure your calibrated and lower your ph down to 5.7 to 5.8. Ec should be around the 800 ppm range right now. Keep your water cool, 62 to 68° is about the best. Add a little cal/mag once or twice a week as well. Watch for new growth to improve. Cheers

Most nutrient mixes will stain your roots a little bit. Unless they look mushy/slimey or stink, then you don't really have to worry. I always use hydroguard just in case though. I assume katana will have a similar effect of not letting bad bacteria establish a foothold.
