***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted.
D85 (18/05/2021): The weather in my area is getting hot this week and it's also hot in my tent. I know it's not ideal for the last weeks of flower πβ¦ I might chop this weekend but I want to give a period of darkness before (at least 24h).
D87 (20/05/2021): I decided to put them in a period of darkness. I did not record any video of the trichomes (sorry I forgot) but Glue Gelato has around 5% amber, Banana Kush has no clear trichomes all cloudy and Gelato has started to show some amber. Due to an increase of the temperature and the humidity and because I don't want to ruin anything, I decided that it was over.
D88 (21/05/2021): After 36 hours I chopped and hanged dry all three plants in the same tent they grew in. Sorry I did not take enough picture of the process. I only removed the fan leaves and let all leaves with trichomes. I will edit the harvest once every thing is dry, trim and in jar for cure. It's currently between 21-23C degree and 52-56% humidity in the tent. I'm aiming for at least 7 days to dry the buds.
Hi,
I love the pic with bud growth stages you shared, interesting to see those side by side for a better view and understanding on how cannabis flower mature!
Awesome bud by the way!
Thanks for sharing

@Eauderay, Thanks you very much! Yeah the Gelato grow weird. Short bush that did not really stretch in flower. She have a lot of leaves and all 3 fingers. The pistils of the bud are really tick compare to the other plants and the buds are growing along side to the branch instead of having multiple bud sites. But I'm sure it will be a good smoke ππ
Hello there! Looking awesome!
I think you are probably right about light responsable for rust on leaves, often we think it is calmag but in fact it is due to the intense static light on top constantly giving plant a sunburn! The soil and nutrients you have used are very good and amply enough!
When we give organic amendment it takes up to 3 weeks for plants to access some elements, nitrogen being the easiest one. No worries for the one you amended last.
@Eauderay, thanks for your feed back and for the info! It's really appreciated! I read that LED light can cause this kind of burn as it's easy to place them too close from the plant since they don't produce a lot of heat. It's my second grow and first with organic soil and one of the mistake I made is not letting time for my soil to ''cook''. So you are probably right when you say that some nutrient was not already available for the plant. It's completely different than growing with bottle nutrient but I prefer that way, organic! I can't wait to see the final product and compare the smoke of this grow with my previous one! πͺπ
