Started nicely, I’m starting this diary late. I initially had too much light and in weeks 3 and 4 you can see light burn.

My first grow so I didn’t notice the light burn yet. I thought it was from too much nutrient. I am using an organic product called Bud Juice. They have their grow kit which I will be using for this grow. Top dress as well as weekly bud juice liquid additions.

This is when I transplanted and turned down my light to 50% from 100%. Reason it was so high was because I was trying to keep the tent warm in the cold basement. Love and learn. I narrowed it down 2 my two breadwinners. Ren and Stimpy (fat one on the left)

Ren was ready to be topped, and both recovered very nicely from the light burn. Looking to add second top dress nutrients next week. My basement now smells like fish poop. Stalks are big on these girls. Genetics are awesome, they’re gonna be thiiiick.

Set up netting and removed the humidifier. Humidity went down to 50% which may have shocked them a bit but they’re fine. Definitely seeing the traits of 2 different phenotypes here, which is pretty good. The tall one on the left doesn’t have as many potential bud sites. Short plant in the right is looking promising. Way bushier, this one will need trimming in a week or two. Playing around with a little lst here and there. Starting to smell pretty damn good, can’t wait to flower in a couple weeks.

My tent is going to be nice and full. Organic grow is going swimmingly. Last day of veg and will be flowering tomorrow. Here is some quick info about the stuff I’m using. The Mars ts1000 is working well but is pretty strong for my size of tent (3x2). So for early veg I turned it to 50% and for the last two weeks turned it up a bit every other day until it was at 75%. Any more than that and I got light burn at a distance of 24”. The nutrients I have are not listed on this site but work very well as far as I can tell. The last picture is what I’m using and I would recommend for the price and being organic. Happy growing all, and if anyone with decent growing experience has any tips for me, that would be awesome. Cheers!

This week was going great. I started my bloom fertilizer using less than recommended dosage. One of my plants looks amazing and the other immediately started showing signs of burn or a deficiency. Flushed both to be safe with a 1/2 dose of cal mag. That stopped the problem but has t fixed it. It’s not drinking and I have a problem. I can’t figure it out. But my shorter plant is looking perfect.

I’m completely stumped as to why my one plant is showing signs of deficiency or burn. Used the exact amount of fertilizer per plant. One plant is fine and the other looks terrible. I used a half dose of cal mag and it seems to have stopped but is not drinking or looking better.

I would say you probably have salt buildup. Looks like a lot of ferts your using there. If you havent got a tds reader, maybe a good idea to get one. Check your runoff ph and ec and feed by measuring your total ppm. I think you'll need to flush these and get ph and ec back in order. I would recommend switching back to veg until you get these girls healthy again. Your harvest will suffer greatly otherwise. Cheers

This week was definitely interesting. Last week I noticed a problem with dark brown spots showing up on my taller plant. I listened to a fellow member who mentioned it could be salt buildup in the soil, because of my coco/soil blend. The solution was to flush my plants. The other plant looked fine but upon further inspection it was starting to show similar signs. So I flushed both with about 5 L of 6.5 ph water (it’s tough to do any more than that with the trellis nets). After flushing the plants they started to look better. Second and third flushes I slowly added cal mag as my other plant was showing signs of deficiency from the flushing. So far it’s been 11 days since I noticed the problem and we are finally looking a lot better. I’ll be able to begin using my organic fertilizer again shortly. I have been slowly defoliating under the canopy. I started doing this once the plants started rebounding. I’ve been doing a few little snips every day. I’m new to this and like many things in life, slow and steady wins the race. This has been the most educational week for me as a new grower. I learned that I was actually not using enough water per watering for my medium. I was so scared of over watering I caused a bigger problem by trying to avoid it. I also learned that although my nutrients are organic, they are strong and to introduce them slowly before giving the full dose. I’m very happy with the help I received and I hope to help others in the future with similar problems. I am always open to criticism. So if you notice anything else, please don’t be afraid to mention it. Happy growing!

This was the week of the explosion! Buds and trichomes are ready to party. I’m very happy with how everything turned out. After 13 days of flushing, I began to add nutrients. On Wednesday (I update every Sunday) I added 25ml of bud juice to 1L of water and brought down to 6.5ph. This is the lower recommendation for flower. The next day I checked and my plants took off again! We’re back baby! Saturday I added the recommended 2 Tbsp per gallon of the Bud Juice Grow formula. And today the plants once again reacted well. I’m very grateful that I was able to rescue these ladies as they look like they're headed in the right direction. The two phenotypes are obvious now. The one on the right (stimpy) is shorter and bushier. It also is showing the Mandarin sunset colouration with a bit of purple. The taller phenotype (ren) has a greener complexion and seems to grow taller and lankier. It smells fruity and stanky which I assume is the skunkberry traits. It doesn’t look like it full recovered from its previous problem. I’m glad I moved it over and scrogged the healthy plant into its space to get more light. All in all, I’m very excited to see how MemberBerry turns out. Happy growing all! 🍃 💨

Welllllllllll, they weren’t ready for more fertilizer. So for this week I was flushing. I’m still currently flushing as I write this a bit late. Next week I will have a bigger write up but for now, they aren’t dying and still growing quite well. I sure did hammer the piss outta these tho. I did find the source of the problem but it will be for next weeks entry. Cheers 🍻 🍃 💨

This was the week I finally got my hands on a TDS meter. Runoff was around 1500, which would explain a lot. So I’m still currently flushing. A new problem! Now that I’ve been flushing so much after the last four weeks, my organic soil is moving with springtails. I’ve heard they are harmless but the tips of my leaves are starting to get dry and turn light brown. The nutrient burn was giving it a darker kinda golden brown, now it’s a very light brown. I’m excited to finally get back on track but alas I believe it’s too late now. The best I can do now is just hope those little buggers aren’t doing too much damage. One more flush then I’ll try and dry em out a bit, and see if that helps. Happy growing 💨

More flushing and not much more to say. Going to do another TDS reading this week. growing quite nicely for how much damage they’ve taken so far. Let’s see how they do another week.

Finished flushing and added the bud juice micro. Responded great and hopefully continues to stay the same. I know it won’t get better, I just hope it doesn’t get worse. Pro mix organic soil has too many slow release nutrients and screwed up my grow plan a bit. I learned a lot and am starting 4 autos outside next week, so hopefully I can learn from my mistakes and make the next grow much better.

With flushing finished I was able to add nutes again. Girls responded super well and flowers grew a few inches. She looks ugly but the ladies are starting to party again. Probably another 3 weeks and the final flush before harvest begins. All trichomes are 50/50 clear and cloudy. Optimistically I am hoping that these gals party hard and double up. I’m excited to see what happens in the next few weeks! Happy growing 🍃 💨 🍻

The plants are losing more and more leaves. Burn was too bad at the beginning of flower to recover. Another couple weeks till harvest. Then we shall see.

One of the gals is ready and has been flushed twice. Will be harvesting on Saturday, and the purple plant gets the whole tent. I’m excited to be finished my little experiment and focus on the outdoor gals this summer. Next fall I will take what I learn and do this memberberry again. 🤜 💨 Happy growing everyone!

Just hacked it down and is drying. Will provide updates once it’s all cured and weighed. Update June 22 I cut the second plant down. It was way healthier and much bigger. Very cool looking and purple. Filled 5 jars and it cured very well. Fruity and piney. It’s so resinous that it took 4 full weeks to cure but oh boy was it worth it.
