Hi guys First time here and with the growing. I received my clones in the mail on the 18th, put them all into there 15l pots and gave them a good watering. They weren’t really looking to healthy at that time. Day 4 The weather has been super hot with tent temps up to 38c the last couple of days. Managed to bring the temps to 34 inside tent. Today I fed them with shogun Coco A+B and silicon. Hopefully they will recover when temps return to normal tomorrow. Day 6 Plants are looking a lot better, the weather is a lot cooler now.

Anything I can do to sort these girls out?

I think it’s the heat that is bringing these girls down. If you can keep the heat lower, I’d expect them to bounce back.

What next? Scrog for a week and take off a lot of the lower plant. Scrog without too much trimming. Or flip in the next few days

Thanks for the comments guys, I’ll be updating daily for the time being. @thegermling509 I think it was bad timing they was sent on a next day but the hot weather was here. I have 2x phresh stealth fans but the temp seems better with them quite low. The temps today were much better around 30c not ideal but the tents 4c cooler than the loft. Katana roots is the shogun equivalent of root stuff. I will get some Monday if things haven’t improved. Should I be watering daily with gold label coco, clay pebbles.

@Thegermling509, yeah straight in to 15l pots. Do I water a small circle till it drains out the bottom? I will pick some up on Monday.

@Keengardener, It looks like you put them in bigger pots. Water the plant at the base of the stem in a small circle. Do not water the whole pot yet. Then water every other day or treat it like a soil grow for the first week. Then after that first week water once a day. Try foliar feeding katana roots (if it can be foliar sprayed). I use rhizotonic regardless if they are doing good or not when they are that small, up until say week 5 veg. Hope they make it.
SHOGUN
SHOGUNcommentedweek 17 years ago
HI @keengardener, Thanks for using our nutrients. Your cuttings look like they took a bit of a beating! If you have our full range, try a light foliar spray of sumo boost to relieve a bit of stress and get them moving. Also Katana will speed up the root development process to get them drinking and growing properly as quickly as possible. Thanks again for choosing SHOGUN and if you have any questions please just ask.

Keengardenercommented7 years ago
@SHOGUN, At the moment I’m using a 6l watering can today I added 6ml of each coco a,b and silicon. If I added the minimum amount of sumo and katana also would this be ok?
SHOGUN
SHOGUNcommented7 years ago
@Keengardener, well if you are restricted and can only add one more thing, then I'd pick Sumo Active Boost. We've got a very narrow range though - every product is there to perform a function! Katana Roots would be the next choice.

@SHOGUN, Thanks for your comment I’ve just updated to show that I gave them some silicon today to help with the heat we’ve been having. If I was to buy another product what would you recommend to be the most beneficial to these plants? Thanks

That's a nice recovery - well done! How are you finding the feeds?
Keengardener
Keengardenercommented7 years ago
@SHOGUN, yeah pretty easy to be honest. First time using any type of nutrients, but these seem to be doing good things.

This is not looking good, you need fresh air and way lower temperatures, you're cooking them now ;)

@Keengardener I would Flip to flowering mode now, prune lower stems, proceed to topping, and get ready for the stretch and the net stuff ! Good luck 👊

Well, ill stay in tune. I was thinking about ordering clones over the mail. But it looks like thats not a good idea. Try using something similar to rhizotonic or recharge. Dont know much about shogun brand nutes. How long did it take you to recieve the clones?

Will be big enough to flip soon! Week, maybe.. .maybe less! The vigor you've got going is a great sign you've made good adjustments. Looking forward to seeing your flowering and eventual harvest/yield with this setup =)
Jaindoh
Jaindohcommented7 years ago
@Keengardener, either works but i think you can get a scrog to pay off anything that makes the plant more evenly distributed is actually a yield increase
Keengardener
Keengardenercommented7 years ago
@Jaindoh, yeah they are pretty big now if you check my latest update. I haven’t had any problems since the beginning. I’m not sure wether to put in a scrog and trim the lower parts of the plant or just flip.

Hey bro did you receive your clones rooted or unrooted?
