It's already second week of growth behind the girls and they're progressing quite well. What I like so far is the similarity in the height and bushiness which will be a huge advantage when I start performing LST. No, it's not the time yet, they're just a little bit too small and fragile and I don't want to stunt the grow as they are autoflowers :)
I lowered the LEDs a bit and increased the output power to around 40% to give the girls a photon boost to promote their grow. And surely the like it:))
Still they're watered with plain tap water leveled to pH 5.8 with addition of rhizotonic which is a root developer enhancer.
I'll start adding Coco A&B with the next watering, this round I'll go with a low nutrient dosage as it is obvious from the past experience that medium level chart is just too much! :)
Other than that, everything's good, I'm still using a humidifier as the spring air in this part of Europe is just to dry for young plants.
Last but not least, thanks everybody for stopping by, thanks for all nice comments and don't hesitate to click the Like button :)
See you around growmies :)
@Green_Dream, Hmm, it would be quite impossible for me to water them twice a day and also I'm using 15 liter pots. I will probably be giving them nutrients every second watering from now and flush them 3 -4 times until the end of flowering.
So far i hadn't have any bigger issues expect from a mild nutrient burn every now and then bot nothing serious. And surely it's a good idea to gave a EC meter if growing in COCO :) I'll have to get one for sure!
@ReinDeer,
If you can, do it every day, events twice a day if possible. The salts build up super fast when the coco gets dry, you should see that in the EC/ppm of the run off.
Whenever I had the chance I used my dripping system with coco, feeding 6 times a day, every time with a bit of run off, and every 2nd day I topped up manually to make sure the coco if fully saturated, the girls loved it!
Well... I guess you already know all that 😅
@Green_Dream, Thank you! I'm watering them every second day now letting the coco to dry in between :) I'm feeding giving the ladies every watering, this round trying with low feeding schedule and it works totally fine for now :)
@Newbie_01, Thank you my friend. I put 5 plants this time in the tent but the overgrew the capacity and they're overcrowded.
I chopped two plants now and it seems only 2 buds have been affected, so hopefully no major damage was done :)
And I have a week or few days more to chop the remaining three :) I can't wait to try them.. But they first need to dry and cured at least for 2 weeks :))
@Green_Dream, yes, indeed, and it seems the girls like prefertilized coco a lot. I've been using ATAMI High porosity coco for more than a year now and I like it a lot! I gave first dose of nutrients today in the morning and I can already see a difference, it's amazing how quickly they react to them :))
That's amazing man and super cheap. I should take a look and order one for myself!!
@ReinDeer,
Ahhh... now I get it! I couldn’t understand how they got so big without nuts. I didn’t even imagine that coco can come prefertilised.
Yes, I make my own RO water with an Easy line 190 filter, I’ve been making at least 1000l water with EC on 0.02 and it still works as new.
Here’s a link for a company that sells it in the Netherlands, they send worldwide:
https://www.seaflowerstore.com/easy-line-190/
They sell it for 60€ + 15€ for shipping, unless u live in Holland, then free shipping 😃
I gave about 90 for it in Denmark.
I really like being able to have complete control over the ppm.
@Green_Dream,Thanks man :) Indeed they're hungry, I've been giving them only tap water with controlled pH to 5.8 as the COCO I'm using prefertilized medium:)
I don't use RO water but I'm checking local water analysis reports for the electricity conductivity which is above 350 PPM.
Do you prepare RO water on your own?
i was skipping through gd.. and had to stop at you diary,,, i looked closer and was reading the name.. and thought .. well who else
what i want to say is i know your diaries by the kind of photography you do.....
dramatic, sharp, deep pictures
@Mrs_Larimar, thank you so much, I’m thrilled to read such nice comments💚🙂 I wish I could take advantage of natural light but the smell is too intense to put them out to balcony 🙁just for a sake of safetiness😀
Try to tell me again that you are not a Master !! Damn bro, it looks like you grow trees and not plants!! 2 liters for day, everyday is something of incredible, They drink as much as a man 😁😁
I am really happy for you and for the results you are getting from these girls, in my opinion you will need a bigger tent for the next round 😆😆
Thank you so much mate :)) I mean, I really don't consider myself a pro, I'm doing this for fun but this time they're just totally over my expectation, they're beasts :D
I didn't expect the will fill the tent in a such a volume, but here I am :)
I'll be posting an update of 8th week of flowering very soon.. I can't express myself how huge they are. Unfortunately I don't have a space for a bigger tent :(
