Hey there,if your runoff is lower than your input this means your medium is more acidic then your input If your runoff is higher than your input you probably have a buildup of nutrients and salts who binds with the ph down in your feeding so it gets useless so your runoff ph is higher The reading of your runoff is not your medium ph reading but is a good indication of what’s going on in your medium The only way to be sure of your medium ph is to buy a ph soil pen in my opinion I prefer my feeding ph on soil in veg 6.0 - 6.5 and flower 6.5-7 On coco I prefer 5.0-5.5 veg and flower 5.5-6.0 Hope this was of some use too u Happy growing and stay safe ✌️💪🏻🌱

If your reading drops a unit it’s probably due to build up salts..if your plants don’t show any nutes burn I would just cut back the nutrients for a few waterings and you wil see the difference in reading getting smaller every watering till the point where you can start feeding again

Yes,i probably worry too much even if my plants are looking healthy.Thats because i really want to understand what's going on. Soil has by default 6.1-6.2 PH ,slightly acidic as you mention. Root ideal PH should be around 6.1-6.8 according to some articles. I wonder what should i do if my next runoff indicator shows 5.2 . (Based on almost 1 unit difference) Maybe buy a soil PH meter. Thank you all for your super fast answers!Means a lot to me.

Hello.. Hope you are well.. I just looked at ur dairy.. I see ur in soil.. I wudnt worry about run off in ur set up tbh.. Its only important if u plan to reuse it.. In my opinion i wud lower ur ph to at least 6.0-6.5 aswell as this will b better for her to access nutrients.. Hope she turns out well 4 u.. Gud luck n stay safe.. 👍🍀

Hey bro 🤗 I wouldn't pay too much attention to what comes out below. Just water with the right Ph (soil 6.0 - 6.5, Coco Hydro Aero 5.5 - 5.8) Don't be too crazy with the values of what comes out below. If you are still worried then rinse vigorously with the adjusted ph value, and then test it again after you can be sure it is the right ph now, but you will also see some confusing results afterwards, as part of it can sit at a certain place. I hope I could help you and you continue to have a lot of fun Grow. :-)
