Small space growing

First micro grow. First 3 weeks plants were growing outdoors. Defoliated, LST and Scrogged the 3 plants to make space, pushed the plants down, and allow for smaller branches to gain light. Was on 18/6 hours light cycle for 2 weeks, changed to 12/12 after week 4. M/F still unkown

Which branches to cut?I am new to all indoor. Will these lower sites make it to the netting? Do most who use this technique just Veg until netting is even, switch to flower, defoliate to netting then let them stretch? Or do you LST the top portion until the lowermost branches reach the netting? š³

What about poneytailing leaves for better sun penetration instead of trimming them ? (kinky post)It probably exists but I've never seen it. I poneytailed leaves instead of defoliating them, since it's their ultimate food suppply. Mostly the big ones not near the buds, can I do that on the main bud leaves ? Anyone uses this technique ? Is that a bad idea ? Did I over do it ?

Can I continue to tie down LST'd stem to horizontal or is there increased risk of breakage?I tied down seedling plants 24hrs ago and they have straightened out much more quickly than I thought. My plan was to have the tied down stem elongate past the rim of the pot then allow it to grow vertical. Can I continue to straighten the stem š or are they set like Jello? š
