When to begin LST

Any hard and fast rules for deciding when to start LST? I plan on doing SCROG later on but would like to tie down branches before then. On Day 19 with 4 nodes so far.

I would wait till your side branches are between 7-10 cm. Then they are not that fragile and you have sth to work with.
I like to cut off the first two pairs of side branches as soon as they show, when doing a scrog. So she gets a bit further away from medium and for better air flow.

you can start After the third real leavepair shows.
Usally plants are ready for lst after 15 days since germ. if she is at least 3mm diameter stem !!! and 3 pairs of leaves

I lst them over at this point. Then grow her horizontally till she wants to stretch to flower.

ScrOG tucking: expose lower smaller bud sites by tucking/compacting main cola branches?For a better yield, should I aggressively (but gently) bend main leading branches and tuck all shading fans to expose young 'undergrowth' branches (circled) and bud sites to light, or, inversely, untuck fans and straighten leading branches to give more light energy to them?

I'm at the end of the 5th week and all plants slowly start flowering. I need low plants because I'm afraid I won't fit in the tent. Thanks for the advice!
