Has anyone used the inkbird humidistat controller? And does anyone know if it will work with a 12v bathroom fan? (The fan has no speed control, just wired to regular plug

The inkbird series are just nice little inline contactors. As long as your 12v fan has an adapter built in to lower your line voltage, it'll work just fine (and it sounds like it does). Cheers👍

Iv'e thought about getting a "intelligent controller" for my inline fans but the problem is that it's always one constant rpm so the temperature settings on the device itself are a huge variable... Does it kick the fan on at 60% and stay for 1 hour or shut off when the humidity falls back down again. Anyway the problem is you can create weird issues where the fan will turn on and then shut off 5 mins later then turn back on 5 mins... You get the idea. Personally if your looking at something like this as a solution I'd consider just purchasing "AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4" or any of the T series inline fans... The humidity controller and fan speed are all integrated and it uses far less power then any 4 inch solution... If money is an issue just use the bathroom fan 24 hours or an analog timer it should be low wattage enough that it'll cost a bit more to run electricity wise but turning a fan off and on can use just as much power.

Which one? Assuming the switched A/C If its a USB fan then sure just get a charger USB adapter. They used to make a contact only version, the thermal controller is still on amazon but dont see the Humidity unit any longer on Amazon. I prefer that one and will get that design
