I had the same thing, I have hard water and this white dust was from the humidifier. Try cleaning your humidifier (vinegar worked for me). I say this because I see the dust on your pot too.

Does White Powdery Mildew brush off easily Does white powdery mold brush off? I need help diagnosing what this was. I already cut off two of the affected leaves on the Kmintz, but other leaves have small amount of the same substance on both plants. The brown spot in the first pic ended up turning into a hole because it was so dry. Is this powdery mildew?

White Spots on top of Leaves I have discovered white spots on my plants. I think it is white mildew. From what I have read, the spores cannot be killed. You can only stop them a with pesticides or, if you are lucky, with a milk/water mixture, but you cannot remove them completely. What should i do?
