hi there, i don't think she's stretching too much.. a lot of the plants you see that are grown indoors, have very specific lights, that add a lot from the blue spectrum, and are constantly rather strong, so this keeps them smaller and bushier during the veg state. This has the double-benefit, as the blue-spectrum keeps the internodes tigher, and the intensity simply provides enough light to the plant, so she doesn't have to stretch (well.. that still comes later at the beginning of bloom).
If you're growing outdoors, then just try to get her a nice sunny spot.
