Topping early at the third node

Hi. I have topped two plants above the third node but I don't intend to main-line them. They both had developed four mature nods. Was I too early to top and I cut at the wrong node? Can they develop enough branches to Scrog a 70x70cm grow?

Don’t worry, they will grow and give many branches, but maybe it will take a little longer.

I wanted to top them and ask about the timing, if its right or not, but it's getting hard to count the nodes and take photos , because there is so much in the way.

Opinions on progressSo this is my first solo grow in a completely new setup (previously only grown in collaboration with a friend). Started off with a cheap blurple light. Very slow start then upgraded to a mars hydro TS1000 2 weeks prior to flowering.

If I add more LED light in Late flowering tent, Is it going to benefits the yield? Currently running under P1000 Led (100W) in 2x2.5x6 Tent , ScrogHello! Now i have finish one tent (Gog) , I have extra LED P600 100W. So If i use it in my 2nd tent (PGK) which now in late flowering phase (still has another 2-3 weeks to finish). Is that ok to do? First Scrog attempt - How much defoliation?I put a Scrog net in and over two days defoliated most of the leaves and small stems below the screen, also took out just a few leaves from the canopy that were obviously shadowing bud sites. Should I be thinning the canopy even more?
