Hi y'all, this is my first grow. It's still in the germination stage but I wanted to share this experience from the begining with you. I'll add stuff when my plants grow a little, right now one Laughing Buddha buddy wants to get out of the Rockwool cube :) [edit]: 1st week: A little update. All six plants are doing well after 5 days. So happy to see them outside :D See ya

Hi guys. I think I'm having a small issue with my plants. Yesterday night some leaves started to twist or bend lightly and it's across almost all plants. I transplanted all plants into my dwc 3 days ago and added basic nuts according to description. Thx in advance.

Check pH of reservoir. Adjust, if neccessary. transplanted from same type of medium or? if not, could be a little shock as it adjusts to a DWC environment. Otherwise, if all that is good or irrelevant, lower feed a bit - re-check pH with new concentration. don't do both without thinking about your own recent behaviours and such... broad suggestions to look into but not certain by any means. If you plan on cloning anything, take note of what you feed them over time and what works best. Each strain may be a bit different and this will avoid all problems the second grow that you encountered the first grow.

2nd week: Here are some new pics of the plants. They grow pretty fast and nice. The one with the shell outside is a bit smaller but is catching up. I'm planning on transplanting it into the DWC pots in a few days, dont know if it's too early but the roots are starting to get a little bit long. I

3rd week: Transplantation! On saturday i transplated all plants into the DWC. I got 2x 70L water tanks for 3 plants each. So that's my actual start of the growing process in the DWC. I started adding basic nuts. Will add some boosters for amateurs from Advanced Nutrients like B-52, Voodoo Juice, Big Buds and Overdrive in certain stages. Wish me luck, or rather them :P

Alright, after an issue with my PH meter and the water PH level being off at the begining of veg state I bought another one and stabilized PH to a perfect 5.5-5-6 (for hydro setups according to some guides online) in both reservoirs. Every res has 3 plants but the ones in the middle are placed in smaller buckets with less keramzite in them but the deeper buckets are all leveled out to the exact same hight as the smaller ones so all plants get the same amount of water. The two plants in the middle got their roots into the res faster that way and started to absorb much more nutrients earlier which made them go a little ahead of everbody being about half an inch or around 1-1.5cm longer than the other ones. They also start to smell good :D All the different sorts have their own smell when I touch the tips with my fingers and sniff 'em. I also ran into a small issue with the temperature. I turned on the second half of the Mars Hydro TS 3000 and the temperature got a bit out of control being at around 32C when the tent is fully sealed. I turned on the fan, the air filter fan system and the side of the tent to get a bit of the temp down to around 26. Would love to do something about it to bring it down to 22-24C but I have to take into concideration that soon they start smelling pretty heavy and I'll have to seal the tent. Running a test over night shows me that the temp can get up to 27-28C at night and 30C / daytime. What I want to do about it is to run the 12-12 regimen at night which should keep the temperature a bit down when i switch in a few weeks ;) @Fusion said in a comment earlier that it's about time to top them which I'll do eventualy in the next days :) [edit] I posted 2 pics of the setup. These are the 2 70L res each. I did a trick and turned the top upside down so all the plants are now lowered and I can work with 35L instead of 70L per res which would be an overkill for this stage of growth ;) Right now they're just beautiful :D

What a great week :D they are getting bushier, I think it's time for topping :) I also had an idea and installed a little lifting system with the help of 8 hooks that will be very useful in the near future. Now I'll be able to lift the whole top (with plants) of my res and make it a lot easier to work down there on water exchange, taking measurements, adding nuts or just looking at the fine ass roots :D Everything seems to be just fine. The only thing i thinking about is that theyre so small after 5 weeks. I thought that a DWC system would cut the veg time in half but it seems nothing like that. I dont know, an experts opinion would be greatly appreciated ;P [edit]: I just topped all plants. So happy, thought it was gonna be harder but it went smooth as fuuuu. :D When would you guys top again? Want to have around 8 colas on each plant :) Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. [edit2]: Do you think that the tips are potentially potent and good for smoking when dry? [BIG EDIT]: Holy smokes! I was thinking about main-lining, LST, HST and defoliation for the past few days non stop and have been reading about it a shit load! I decided to do the following: I have 6 plants in 2 res. All plants in the right res are going the LST route + some form of HST by squishing the main stem at different places with my fingers until I think it's enough! I didn't defoliate anything on these plants but took a wire and tied the biggest fan leaves to the sides so all the new stems / branches have access to the light. I also tried to bend all 3 plants to the side as much as i could. The left ones are treated the main-lining + defoliation way + minor HST also in form of squishing the main stem a little in different places on the main stem. I decided NOT to cut everything underneath the place i topped them but only get rid of all fan leaves and left only 2 on each plant that are on top. I left the branches alone for now, because if I fucked up that mainlining thing and if it doesn't branch out into 2 new stems than I'll still have something to work with. BUT if everything goes according to plan than I'm going to cut them in the future to direct all energy to only the parts that need it the most. I also used wires on them and started training them :) After around 8h they all started to feel better and stronger and I can now observe the majority of leaves standing up looking for some light :) They def look better now then just after the training. Ill upload some pics of my first try on 3 different techniques. I just hope it wasnt too much for them at once :D BTW guys, I have no fucking idea how I did so feel free to comment and give me some directions for adjustments :D + check out the updated gallery for this week

Yes you can top them now ; you can either go for mainlining or more internode tops than a single big mid top. Make sure to LST those inernodes after topping to attain higher yield and dense nugs.

Hi peeps, here's the thing. The "bottom" of my leaves started to look kind of like they're dry. The PH is perfect 5.6 for hydro, I worry that the super low humidity of around 30 has something to do with it. The temp doesn't get hotter than 27C, at night around 18.Water temp is 21C

Hey man, just from looking at this picture and the other pictures from your diary, that's as healthy as the leaf can look in my eyes. I also don't really understand what you mean by bottom? The point where the leaf-fingers connect is called rachis as far as I know (Just dropping some nerdy knowledge here, please don't kill me if I'm wrong :D) But in all honesty, the plants look extremely happy man, don't worry too much. Oh and btw, like @FREE_HONGKONG mentioned, definitely top them, it'll work wonders. BTW I know from past experience that the older the leaves get, the more of a "papery" and fairly rough feel they get. Thats apparently completely normal ;) Love and peace :)

I did a mainline grow with cinderella 99. If you check out my diary, you will see when I topped. I wanted 8 colas, so I 1st topped at the 3rd node, cleaned everything up. 2nd topping came at the first nodes but didn't top until I started to see the second nodes, then the 3rd and final topping I did at the first nodes again... but only when I seen the second starting again. Hope that helps. My Cinderella 99 diary is under First Photo-period grow...😁 Happy growing

Last week was full of fuckups, frustrations and happiness :D After my first HST, topping, main-lining, defoliation and LST all at once some bad shit happened, I stressed out my plants and the second Mimosa EVO got fucked up at the lower part. I probably squeezed it way too much and it seems to be getting worse but all the leaves are still growing without any issue. It is of course the smallest plant of all 6 but I hope that it will recover and get back to growing strong soon. After a week of recovery all plants are waaaaay stronger then at the begining of the week. Purple Punches' fan leaves got soooo thick and fuckin big (bigger than my hand) that it looks ridiculous :D All 3 plants that only got LST'd got so much bigger. I don't know if I should do that but instead of removing fan leaves, I just wired them down to reduce it's area coverage and give all the precious bud nodes more exposure to light. I did the same to all 6 plants and after that week it really seems to work because the plants recovered nicely and with this fan leaves bondage action the bud nodes seem to grow a lot faster :) The roots in the LST'd plants got also much bigger. [Will upload a few root pics later] I hope you like the gallery and the progress. If you have any suggestions, please share. Im always eager to learn more :) See ya! [EDIT] This setup is a dream. I thought it was a 2 man job but I did a 2 res change by myself + flippin the top of both res' to switch from 35L tanks to 60L :D The hooks setup works very well. Just check out the picture gallery. BTW. The roots are looking fucking healthy but you can clearly see that all 3 plants to the left (which are after HST + LST + Defoliation + Topping + Main-lining all at once) have significantly smaller roots than the ones to the right (LST + Topping in one go). I would give them around a week to catch up. I've also added Voodoo Juice to both tanks so probably all the roots will benefit from that. I've also rotated them so the first 2 plants in both res' will face the front more and I'll keep training them that way so they can take full advantage of the front side and give the middle a little space to breathe and have done the same to the last ones. I rotated them to the end of the tent. I also took off all the wiring out and will let them be for the next view days. Just want to give them some stress relieve and give them an opportunity to rise ;) I also decided to switch to blooming in around 2-3 weeks. All plants are still pretty small but all the side nodes are so thick. I really believe that the excessive training did some good to them. I might be wrong but I think I'm not :P I just start to read and decode them. I also added a CO2 matt at the top. Maybe this will help a bit. I've read quite a bit about it so I just don't want to over do it ;) I just want them to be happy :D SEE YA

Once mine get into aggressive veg growth I remove about 1/2 the fan leaves, leaving some for photosynthesis. The rest if they're really shading lower growth you can tie or tuck out of the way.

Pull away the pebbles from the area. Clean the area with a mix of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. 1 cup of water with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide 3%. Wipe are clean first, then dip a Q tip in the solution and wipe the area. Throw away the Q tip and repeat with a clean one. Clean area every 12 hrs and see if that helps.

Hi ya'll. This has been a wonderful week of growth. After last week both res' water change I flipped the cover to be able to put 60L in each res instead of 35L. I gave my plants more space for their roots and after leaving them for a few days I came back to see them 4-5in / 10cm taller than before which made me very happy. I believe they like their environment :) I've also added a CO2 pad which i spray daily with water to release that carbon into the tent. I have no idea how much ppm it has but my plants got in the last week 1/3 bigger than in all 6 previous weeks combined (I know it has to do with a lot of different variables but I still believe that it helped a bit). The Mimosa EVO that got squeezed to much recovered like a champion and the stem is probably the thickest of all plants, and it got as tall as the other ones. I'm very happy about that. It looks healthy as fuuuu! All the plants are around 12in / 30cm tall so i put a scrog screen on'em and they seem to like it. A few days before I wired the shit out of them to make it easier to maniputale them in the future wchich helped indeed. It's the middle of week 7 so I believe they grew enough to make the switch to flowering FINALLY! I'm so happy about it :D I'll have to adjust the nuts over this week I believe so if you have any suggestions on that, I'd be happy to hear them. Have a great week guys! [QUICK EDIT]: The 6 plants drank 40L of water with nuts in the last 10 days XD. It's like 0.67L a plant / day :D

Hi there! I think it is best to use these same nutes at first weeks of flowering. When shes stretching she still needs lot of nitrogen too, so when you see the stretch is over you can start to feed bloom nutes. This is basic rule but adapt to the situation

Hi guys :) So it's the start of another week :) A week ago I changed water and flipped the cover to be able to add 60L instead of 35L per res (120L total) and on Friday night (3am) I replenished both res' with 40L (!) of fresh water with nutrients. They start to take in water like crazy, it's like 0.67L / plant a day and I bet it will only get better :) I don't know how this can be possible but one of my plants grew like 2 inches / around 5cm in almost 24 hours O_o , it's just crazy :D I've also put on a scrog net over them and started seperating them from each other. I also defoliated them for the last time before the switch to 12/12. Let's see how this works out :) BTW. I did a fun little labeling project for one of the strains (to put on jars). Check out the gallery and tell me if you like it. I'd really appreciate your feedback :) If you want some details about this or if you want to do such a label yourself, just text me in the messenger :) I'd be happy to provide help I'll upload more quality pics soon! Hi there! If those photos are after pics I think you did not take nearly enough to even call it defoliation. You did not mess up anything but I suggest that you remove whole lotta more of those leafs and try to focus on "lollipopping" (Remove lower 3rd) and the leafs that shades the growing tops 👌

Hi guys, this week has been awesome :D my plants drank 40L of water. Instead of putting 60L into each res I put all 70L to max it out. I also defoliated the shit out of the plants 3 days after switching to flowering. I ended up with a full bag of fan leaves. I believe it will benefit them a lot in the coming week. Saaaaweeeet jesus!!! 3 days later, they are around 3in/12cm taller. What the fuck! O_o They also start to smell like legit weed which makes me happy :) The overall health is top notch I believe. BTW. Check out my another neat idea. I hung up my fan using zip ties linked together. That way by "zip-tie'ing" one, the fan goes up around 2in/5cm (it works pretty good actually) [Mid week edit]: I decided to defoliate again because all the plants recovered like champions and have put an immense amount of energy into growing bigger fan leaves that were left but also bud sites. I didn't think I could still remove a whole box full of leaves which left me with a bag and a box full of leaves that got removed. I believe it's enough for now. The majority of leaves are gone, they uncovered lots of bud sites that didn't get much light at all. I hope they will grow taller and stronger now that they get the right amount of light they deserve. Bud sites are starting to form, so it's the first time in my life that I actually see real buds forming. They are now around 19in / 48cm tall and I love it. I also raised the light another 3in / 12cm to keep a healthy distance between them. I'll get you guys up to date in a few days :)

Sooooo, it's the start of week 3 of flowering. What an exciting time. The buds are finally starting to form. Over the last 2 weeks my plants practically doubled in size, I mean what the fuuuuck :D The biggest one which is kind of funny because it's a 90/10% Indica is the tallest of all right now with around 27,5in / 70cm. The other ones are just a few inches/cm behind which is a success in my book having 4 different strains with different final heights under one roof. That whole topping, mainlining, lst and all that Jazz got the job done well making sure all plants are around the same size. I bet they'll grow about 50% in the coming weeks to its final size. I add 2x20L of water with nuts and boosters every few days. Today I decided to add 25% more nutes and 50% more boosters because I'm not changing the res' water, I'm only adding more to the water that has been there for the last few weeks. The water that's left has to have less nutes, so I figured out if I'd add more nutes n boosters when mixed with water in the res' will have just about the right amount it should have in reality :) I have no idea why I didn't thought about this earlier. Maybe they would grow larger and faster but they look so healthy and big to me, it doesn't matter that much :) The root system looks amazing and healthy, they expand so fast that they start to fight over room in both res'. But I can't do nothing about that now. Before I started this whole project, I thought about seperating each third of the res so each plant would have its own place to grow without having to fight for room. Next time :) I also defoliate all plants every 2-3 days. The fan leaves are still growing very rapidly. Right now my plan is to just remove the leaves that cover smaller bud sites. At this stage I want all the buds to have access to the same and maximum amount of light. So that's the plan! Have a great day people! :) [edit]: 2 days later the tallest plant got 3in/7cm taller reaching 30in / 77cm, whaaaaat :)

Ready, steady, go! Week 4 of flowering began last saturday. The tallest plant grew to 89cm. 3 Days later it has 97cm. I had to do some HST on the longest branches to kindly make them stop fucking growing because I'm getting close to the top of the tent with my light! I defoliated so much that most of the fan leaves are now gone exposing all bud sites to light. It also starts to smell like legit weed which makes me happy :) I took some cool shots and also tried my best at getting real closeups so just check out the gallery :) So far everythings going just fine

those are normal. the first weeks of flower until about week 6 they are slowly forming, you will start to see them build up here soon, week 6 is where it starts to get fatter and fatter, week 7 you will defiantly be looking at happiness and week 8 and after will be an excitement to chop, esp. toward the end of week 8, go the full 9 weeks cause that is where the true happiness will be. things look good and do not worry, you got this

Ready, steady, GO! Week 5 of flowering started on Saturday. I'm super pumped about it. Everything is growing beautifully. I cleaned both 70L res'. The lifting hook system still works like a charm! My plants start the 5th flowering week with super fresh water with nutrients. I overdid it a little bit, I wanted to give them 25% more of nuts and I think that burned the tips of the leaves. I just wanted to check if more nuts boost the growth a little bit but I overdid it so I added 10L of just fresh water to each reservoir. I only lowered the PH because the plants drank a shitload of nuts and it went up quite a bit. Now the water is at 5.7 PH with additional water which should dissolve the nuts a little bit and get shit back to normal ;) I've also put 2 CO2 pads on both sides of the light and i sprinkle it with water once a day. That should feed my plants not only from the bottom but also from the top, too. Other than that, they start to fatten up and the buds grow bigger. They look great, just check out the gallery of this week. Mimosa EVO is the baddest motherfucker of all. They have the most dense buds for now. The first Mimosa EVO that got hurt too much recovered so well that it's around 15cm taller then the other Mimosa EVO. I love it! BTW I encurage you to open the pics from the gallery because the full size pic reveals a lot of fine ass detail on the flowers #yummy 😵 Have a great week guys :D CU

BUBBLY ACTION and CLOUSUP PORN! That's how I call the start of this week :D This week starts with an explosion of Trichomes. If you watch this gallery on a bigger screen you'll find yourself in another dimension. So I encourage you to open the pics and check'em out on a big screen :) Last week I overfed the plants a bit and after 2-3 days I saw that my plan didn't go that well and I topped the res' with pure PH neutral water. They seem to be good again, and on Sunday I gave them 25% less nuts and boosters than usual just to make things right again. They stopped growing at 97cm which make me happy. The buds are finally starting to fatten up because I started to be a bit worried about that. Mimosa EVO still kicks ass in that department. The funny (or maybe not so funny) thing is that Purple Punch isn't anywhere near of what I've expected it to be at this stage which means that it sucks a bit and the buds very slowly start to form in comparison to everything else. But overall I'm very happy with last weeks development. BTW. I didn't touch any plants so no defoliation anymore because I've seen that it wasn't the brightest idea to do heavy defo' in 4-5 flowering week :D Enjoy the week and stay cool guys! [EDIT] OKAY OKAY OKAY, I fucked up #facepalm It turned out that I somehow turned around the lid of the res where the 3 plants are growing and Purple Punch is in fact in the back instead of in the front. I came to that conclusion because both Lauging Buddhas are the same height at around 37in / 95cm and smell the same, but they have the longest flowering time of around 75 days or something instead of Purple Punch which should be good to go in only 50-60 days. Punch's buds also look a lot more developed than the other two plants and that made me think that something was wrong there. And when you touch Purple Punch's leaves, daaaaaamn son, they smell citrusy, holy smokes. Never smelled a better weed in my life! On the other hand it's still too early to tell from just looking at the buds. They look just fuckin' random... All of them XD. So now that I know that I was looking at the wrong plant all the time I can say that yes, Purple Punch is looking awesome and it should be ready for harvest in 2-3 weeks, yaaaaay finally (Mimosa Evo still kicks more ass tho :P )

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm about to treat your eyes O_O Let's begin, shall we? (for best experience please use a 4K screen at least 15") Now, open the gallery and enjoy! 😍 The last week was fuckin' awesome! I added 40L of water with just a bit of nutes and after 24h the buds exploded! For the first time they don't look random to me anymore! Each plant is looking very unique, just like the smell. I can't believe how good Purple Punch smells, holy fuck! I licked the top of my finger by accident and it tasted like I would lick a lemon or something, WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS O_O Overall they start to fatten up. All the smaller ones are getting big very fast. Can't wait, only 1-2 weeks left for Purple Punch. End of the week quick summary. Later in the week some of the smallest leaves on different strains started to twist in a funky way. Something was off and after talking to guys here I decided to lower the ppm which was way too high (2221) to about 1000 and top it with ph neutral water only. That did the trick and both res have a bit over 70 litres each of water with half of nutes with ppm of 1150 and ph 5.5 and 5.7. The stats look good in my book ;) Now I'm gone for a few days. I let them breathe and recover and hope to see a change in a good direction :D because next time I see them another week will begin which means a new delicious portion of sweet pics. With a week inbetween of no real closeups I'll serve you guys with some trichome porn on monday ^^ Stay tuned. Peaaaaace

Ladies and Gentleman, buckle up and get ready for a close encounter with the Trichome Universe! 😎 I can't believe how good and distinct the plants look! When I develop the pics, the close ups transport me into another dimension, especially when I'm high as a kite 😜 I really hope you enjoy them as much as I do. It's a pity that Growdiaries resizes them after upload because the full resolution is bonkers! Other than that, this week was awesome, all the smaller buds got bigger, the main colas are also bigger but not that much. But the frosting on'em, jeez 😱 just check out some close up pics! I'm really happy with this week's developement, they smell so good, it makes me wanna eat them :P the 10th marks the day that Purple Punch is supposed to be ready for harvest but I don't see an end to it any time soon. It's got a shit load of new pistils, they look still very fresh and young. Just a few started to fade. I hope it will be ready in a week or two. I'll cross my fingers! Have a great day guys. PEACE!

Most likely scenario is that she's just finishing her life cycle. You look almost ready for harvest. Otherwise, you may be short on P or it's too warm, but I'm betting it's just natural aging.

My Laughing Buddha is into flowering for 55 days now.The breeder says that flowering time takes 65-70 days. The trichomes on the main cola look like 60ish % milky - 40% amber. I know about head and body high trichome color ratios and wanted to ask why it looks so mature that early

2cents -- don't choose this if thining that at end, as i'm ineligible for the 'contest' related to these solutions... Is it growing a ton of new stigma (or pistils as some call them)? If so, you may end up with an entire layer of new bracts and immature trichomes on top of them. Was it ripe, and then started growing stigma? rhetorical questions - devil's advocate type thing. If it's the first, then i'd wait and see a bit. If it's the second, it may have been "done" and now it's freaking out throwing new stigma growth as last ditch effort to get knocked up. Another behaviour you can consider is how much water is it drinking? if it stopped drinking water, it's nearing death, i think. Anyway, how this all came about over time may help you lean toward one answer or another. if it ends up being a bit more ripe than normal, it's good learning experience about another part of the harvest window.. never know until you try. I try to avoid couchlock ripeness too, but i have dobuts about anything based upon people's volatile perceptions. Unless you are running extractions and analyzing with gc machine etc etc we have no idea what the contents are beyond a wild guess. Could only be based on correlation too. Such a lack of research exists on the subject.

Hi guys :D The final weeks of my first Grow Diary are almost over. Strange things happened this week. Check this out! Purple Punch that supposed to be in the middle of the harvest window is nowhere near the finish line. New pistils pop up constantly. It looks like it still needs like a week or two! On the other hand my Laughing Buddha that supposed to be ready for harvest in 2-3 weeks looks ripe as a motherfucker. Just check out these sick ass closeups. IMO they're 60%-70% milky / 30-40% amber which in my book should get me the best results for a clear head high. If I'm wrong, please let me know :D And now I'm a bit confused, because I don't know what to do. 4 days ago I added AN Overdrive and after 3 days all buds got noticely bigger! So the question is, should I chop it down and have smaller buds bud probably a better overall high or leave it and let it get more mature and rist a body high which I wouldn't like to have (I'm all about EUPHORIA HIGH :D ) ANY suggestion in that department is greatly appreciated! Other than that I'm super pumped that it's almost over :D So just sit back, relax and enjoy some fine ass pics of these beauties :D Much peace and love (not to sound like a hippie :P ) PS: I'll add a few more closeups ASAP OKAAAAAAY a lil update: I just took 273 photographs and developed them only to see close ups of all the buds from the top, down to the scrog net. It turnes out that only 2 tops of the highest buds show signs of maturity. This means I'll leave'em just like that and stop bitching about their maturity :P They'll be fine!

Hi guys, it's almost harvest time for all my plants, how do you go about the curing process? I want to use the Boveda packs to keepe'm at the right humidity. Do I put the Boveda bags after curing for a few weeks or right after the drying process? Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope to take you on a galactic journey for one more time! Let's embark on a trippy trip into the Trichome world, shall we? Please enjoy it at least on a notebook screen, it's worth it! The time is here, the plants are ready for harvest, the trichomes are mostly cloudy with 10-20% amber. I feel kind of emotional that the journey is about to end. These are probably the last pics I'll post, I'll maybe add some from the harvest but do not expect this quality anymore. BTW. I'm curious if all the purple trichomes have some magic in'em ^^ I went away for a week in hope that everything would stay as it is, but to my dissapointment 3 smaller parts of the main colas had mildew when I came back. It turned out that me opening the tent on a daily basis gave the plants much needed air exchange and reduced the humidity which was a pain in the ass for the final 4-5 weeks. I had to cut off top parts of 3 main colas but it was not that much overall which means I had to come back at the begining of it. I decided to harvest everything from the top to the scrog net and give the lower parts of the plants another week of much needed light. See you next time guys and happy harvest to everyone! Much love and peace, muaaaa!

Hi guys! If I have a few 2L jars where the full jar can hold a 100g of dry weed. I'll put 50-70g in each jar. 8g Boveda packs work up to 28g of weed. The next Boveda is for almost 500g of weed. Should I put 2-3 Bovedas into one jar or do they not add up to a higher total volume?

Yes, add 2-3 depending on need if the cure is good 2 will do you in my experience, if you need to add humidity add the 3rd. After you put them in close the jar and don’t open it back up for 2-3 weeks to fully regulate the rH in the jars. All the best 💚

I harvested parts of my laughing buddha and I've dried it for a few days now and the thing is, it smells like regular cut grass. When I touch it it smells like it's supposed to but when I open the jar it smells only like cut grass. Other plants have their unique smell tho. Help

@Cremo The curing stage takes a little time The Grass taste you are getting is from the excess chlorophyl still in the buds this will disapear once cured and the Nice smells will return To cure it you will need to place the Fully dried buds into glass jars and seal . then once a day for 3 weeks you need to open jar for 5 minutes then the next 3 weeks open for a minute or so then after that just open occasionly like once a week or two

"High" ya'll :P It's the season finale!!!! I can't wait to tell you about this grow so let's start right away ^^ I'll divide the harvest review into a few parts: Grow . Harvest - strain - overall . Smoke - Curing - Smoke effects ------------------------------------------------- Grow: iI was fairly easy to grow Purple Punch. I thought I was looking at it for 3 months after I realised that I've somehow switched around the cover with all 3 plants at an earlier stage and my lovely Purple Punch was in fact in the back! I decided to do the switcheroo which did some minor coleteral damage because I've put on a scrog net but in the end it was all iight! Harvest: Purple Punch - Wet: 262g - Dry: 55g All other strains this season: Tropicanna Banana - Wet: 342g - Dry: 72g Laughing Buddha I & II - Wet: 717g - Dry: 157g Mimosa Evo I & II - Wet: 859g - Dry: 190g Altogether: - Wet: 2181g - Dry: 474g I've also got 89g of dry Trichomeladen parts of trimmed leaves! - Smoke Purple Punch is a weird one. And I don't know exactly if it's pure luck, real stain effects or a combination of Cannabis. As I said before I've smoked it twice but I mixed it once with Laughing Buddha. The effects of this particular Cannabis are off the charts. For the first time I've experienced visuals of everything I've thought off at that moment. The visuals were exact visual representation of my thoughts. Very strange, They've never been that vivid! I have no idea if it's a combination with alcohol and Laughing Buddha that brought up this visions but I've experienced it while being mainly high on Purple Punch. I also definitely recommend it because of the greatest Aroma of Grapefruits or Green Tea with Lemon! Unbelievable! And the funny thing is. I'm a pure Sativa person! I only want to get creative, talkative and all that day time high Jazz. I've bought Purple Punch seeds because Barney's Farm did the best job ever to describe the smell and taste of this strain. I just had to buy it. As much as I love Sativa strains, I don't know if Purple Punch is the best strain I've ever had the chance to smoke. I could visualise a grown up face of my 2 yo child. It was like a dream come true - Curing It's been 4 or 5 days drying. Now it's in the middle of week 2 of curing in the jars. I open 'em 2-3 times a day. Will reduce later. PROTIP: If you're also growing Purple Punch, feel free to download and print out the jar sticker I made :) [NOTE:] I might edit the shit out of this review in the future because I'm high as a motherfucker right now! Looking at those pix ya gotta know THAT! :D

Smoke - Curing - Smoke effects ------------------------------------------------- Grow: It was fairly easy to grow Tropicanna Banana. I had no issues with this plant. It wasn't the best smelling weed of the bunch but it was the one that had beautiful purple sides on leaves and also purple trichomes which you can see clearly in the last week before harvest picture gallery. Harvest: Tropicanna Banana - Wet: 342g - Dry: 72g All other strains this season: Purple Punch - Wet: 262g - Dry: 55g Laughing Buddha I & II - Wet: 717g - Dry: 157g Mimosa Evo I & II - Wet: 859g - Dry: 190g Altogether: - Wet: 2181g - Dry: 474g I've also got 89g of dry Trichomeladen parts of trimmed leaves! I'll extract keef out of it with dry ice and a bubble bag. - Smoke Still can't tell much about the smoking experience because I've usualy tried a few strains mixed or one after another, but I'll def update this part once I get to experience it's full potential when properly cured for a few weeks. But the smell is definitely the best ever! Can't say enough about how much I like it! - Curing It's been 4 or 5 days drying. Now it's in the middle of week 2 of curing in the jars. Smoke - Curing - Smoke effects ------------------------------------------------- Grow: Oh my. The grow was a bit tough at times. And it's all my fault so nothing agains the strain itself. Early on in the veg state I used a HST method and pinched the bottom of the stem with my fingers to stress all plants and make them recover and grow bigger. This particular Mimosa Evo started to dry out in that space. It's good that I also had the whole plant LST'd with wires so it didn't break or lean to a side. Then a bit of mold or something also started to build up in that place. I cut it all off which stressed it again but after that, boy ouh boy, this plant recovered like a champ. It recovered so good that it grew 1/3 bigger in height and weighted 6 times more that the other Mimosa Evo that was in front of it in the same reservoir! It had main colas the size of a forearm! On my next grow I'll experiment a bit and will try to find a way to stress the plant so much that it grows so much at the end as this Mimosa did. Maybe I'm onto something ^^ Harvest: Mimosa Evo I & II - Wet: 859g - Dry: 190g All other strains this season: Purple Punch - Wet: 262g - Dry: 55g Laughing Buddha I & II - Wet: 717g - Dry: 157g Tropicanna Banana - Wet: 342g - Dry: 72g Altogether: - Wet: 2181g - Dry: 474g I've also got 89g of dry Trichomeladen parts of trimmed leaves! I'll extract keef out of it with dry ice and a bubble bag. - Smoke I've tried it a few times and it is by far the strongest weed I've ever smoked. I can't tell much about the aromas and tastes yet because I'm still early in the curing process. But I'll update it in a few weeks for sure. Seems like it's a hell of a Cannabis - Curing It's been 4 or 5 days drying. Now it's in the middle of week 2 of curing in the jars. I open 'em 2-3 times a day. Will reduce later. Smoke - Curing - Smoke effects ------------------------------------------------- Grow: Growing Laughing Buddha was pretty straight forward. I had no issues with it up to the point where all the 4 strains were mature enough to look distinct from another. This was the time I realised that my top cover of the res with Laughing Buddhas and Purple Punch was in fact switched around and I looked at the wrong plant all the time :P Well, beginners fuckups I guess. I switched the top around and placed Laughing Buddhas to the middle and back of the tent because it had the longest flowering period. After harvest I also realised that it had by far the most amount of small ass buds. It was a pain in the ass to remove them but in the end they're all good buds so I don't mind the extra work I had with them! Harvest: Laughing Buddha I & II - Wet: 717g - Dry: 157g All other strains this season: Purple Punch - Wet: 262g - Dry: 55g Mimosa Evo I & II - Wet: 859g - Dry: 190g Tropicanna Banana - Wet: 342g - Dry: 72g Altogether: - Wet: 2181g - Dry: 474g I've also got 89g of dry Trichomeladen parts of trimmed leaves! I'll extract keef out of it with dry ice and a bubble bag. - Smoke Laughing Buddha is a good one! I love this strain. It's a great day time high weed. It also smells pretty similar to Tropicanna Banana which smells like an ice cream in a waffle cone. Let's see how it's gonna smell and taste after a proper curing process! I'll def update it in a few weeks! - Curing It's been 4 or 5 days drying. Now it's in the middle of week 2 of curing in the jars. I open 'em 2-3 times a day. Will reduce later. [NOTE:] I might edit the shit out of this review in the future because I'm high as a motherfucker right now! Looking at those pix ya gotta know THAT! :D PROTIP: If you're also growing Laughing Buddha, feel free to download and print out the jar sticker I made :)

Hi guys. I've got 4 bubble bags with different screen micron size. I've also got 5kg of dry ice and around 90g of leaves with a shitload of trichomes. How do I go about the process of extracting keef from a bad to great grade if that makes any sense? Thank you kind people :)

All depends what's your dry ice State? Is it small granular or is it large chunks. It seems like you've got a lot of dry ice and I used just the 90 Micron bag with busted up flower from a electric coffee grinder. Make sure that you don't over grind it. Put cute it three times the amount of flower of dry ice close the top. Give it about 2 minutes and then shake it over a clean surface. You will see the kief and the dry ice vapour fall from the bag onto your surface. Do not scrape it right away allow it sometime to evaporate the moisture Left Behind from the dry ice.
the end.
