Seedling watering

Should the soil be kept moist for when my seedling pop through the dirt? I use a spray bottle and do about 5-6 sprays in the morning then another 5-6 sprays at nighttime before I bring them back inside.

Spraying all the soil is ok. But I would give 2-3 shot glass full of water to her right at her stem and lightly soak the rest of the soil with the mister. This will help the Taproot go down before going out! Hope this helps! Cheers and happy growing!

I use a cup on cup method. I spray the soil early and out a cup on top to keep humidity in. If it’s still moist in evening I do not spray again. If it seems less humid -I do. When germinating do not let soil dry up. Keep it moist. Not soaked. (Made that mistake too)

i wouldn't keep it wet nor try to do a consistent spray... you still want an ebb and flow of moisture, but maybe don't let top 1" dry, since roots aren't too deep yet. water with runoff, and wat a day or two for sure... most likely 3-5 depending on how much substrate there is. this is a wonderful time to appreciate the lack of effort required and enjoy it.. don't fret.

Moist is fine, but not soggy. The goal from what I know is water to keep the humidity up. Seedlings and clones like high humidity levels of 65-70% because the roots are not established and high humidity levels allow water intake through leaves.
