Ooph I need help again. My plants are starting to yellow –– quick. They were a bit pale about 12 hours ago, now they're totally yellow. I haven't watered in 3 days yet the soil is still damp (not wet), but about 30% perlite. Organic potting mix, no nutrients added. Water pH 6.5

Chronic overwatering in thick soil led to these symptoms I'm guessing. It’s very easy to overwater young plants when you have a small seedling in a big container. When that’s the case, don’t soak the whole growing medium. Water in just a circle around the plant until its leaves are up and growing fast. At that point you can start watering more thoroughly. Does your soil have any added nutrients in it? Do you ph your runoff? In water might be good but you need to adjust the in to make the runoff right. Cheers and happy growing!

So –– I think I diagnosed the problem, thanks to you both in the comments. I realized the drainage still was pretty bad. maybe needed more perlite or just better potting mix. Pulled this girl out to assess her roots and see what the soil situation was like. horrible drainage.... All my fault. Starting a new question with a picture of my root system. hopefully others could learn. from it. check it out if youre curious. Thank you for all the help

it looks like my soil's pH might be around 7.5. But nothing added to it and only distilled water used

Looks like n-def.. feed them .. they are hungrY! :P ph the diluted fertilzier too... may need a little something on occasion. in genarl, the cotyledons (2 non-serrated leaves) will start to fade abit and that's a great indicator to start feeding. becareful.. start slowing, even though yo have a deficiency andsee how she reacts.
