Is there a way to identify an auto from a photo plant from the early leaf growth?

No the only way is to wait for it to flower, if it takes longer than 6 weeks then switch to 12/12.🌱👍

no mate ; until they start flowering in more than 14 hours of light after 35 to 45 days roughly ; they are autos or else they photo-period

Sadly no. You can tell if it starts to flower under a 18/6 light schedule thou. Happy growing!
