Dupo_1answered grow question 4 years ago If you can you should let the top inch or so of soil to dry out and keep humidity low as this is a prevent the environment for them to thrive. There young live in the top of the soil but won't develop if its to dry. You can also try a solution of neem oil and spray the top soil so when the young come up they will pick it up. While your getting this under control you should keep using fly paper. They are ment to be more attracted to yellow then blue colored paper or strips bit any will do in a pinch. Also if you can put the plant outside on a hot windy day, if the hatch there so small they will be blown away. Hope this helps
